We have frequented this restaurant a lot in the past couple months due to a busy work schedule. We really enjoy the service, delicious food and rewards system. The atmosphere is very nice as well. This Outback is disappointing , I enjoy other ones. Cesar Salad bowl was half filled, very small portion. Our favorite Coconut Shrimp were 1/2 the normal size shrimp and the coconut coating was much thinner than normal. Avoid until it meets standards of other better Outbacks. read more

Had the Bourbon Bacon Salmon and when the plate was brought out I was disappointed. It had 1 small slice of bacon on top of a 10oz piece of salmon. When I had it a couple of weeks ago, I was just breaking my fast after walking around the premium outlets in Harriman in the rain for a long time. I was pleasantly greeted. They don't have 22 oz steaks in Asia, so when I came to this restaurant and saw a 22 oz. Porterhouse I just had to try it. One of the best decisions I've made so far. I will start with the service. I think her name was Casey, and she was really one of the nicest waitresses I've come across in a restaurant. The place was packed when we arrived at around 7:45PM, and throughout our dinner she would come time to time to refill our drinks and offer desserts. Plus she never rushed the orders or anything despite having 5 other tables to attend to. Definitely 5 stars. Now to the food. We ordered a fried onion appetizer - I forgot what it was called - for all of us and it tasted much better than how it looked, and it was served in an aesthetically pleasing way. Now to the steak. I have never tasted a piece of steak so good in my life. I was seriously blown away. It was a perfectly cooked, Medium 22 oz. Porterhouse that was cut well and was virtually equally thick throughout. With it, I ordered fresh steamed broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. You can't go wrong with the broccoli, but the garlic mashed potatoes were just as good as the steak was. Add the bottomless Ice Tea and what you have is a perfect steakhouse meal. At around 25 dollars, I would say it was worth every cent. 5 out of 5 stars no doubt. I like that chain of the restaurants but Monroe location is not my favor. My steak - by the way there's signature dish -was little bit to dry and burn. Fried calamari was too dry to crispy. Clam chowder soup was just okay. I was very disappointed when they brought hot tea. !!!!!! They don't know how to prepare hot tea. The water was never boiled, just little bit worm. I asked my waitress for hot water -again I got worm ...I gave up. Oh ....by the way there was not sugar with my hot tea. I gave them two stars because cheese cake .....was actually okay. As we were skeptical to dine at this establishment (given the competition and negative stigma of food chains), we took our chances and were pleasantly surprised. The decor was very inviting. The staff's service was impeccable from the hostesses, wait staff, barkeeper to the management. The food selection was enormous from the appetizers through the desserts. I myself had a filet mignon which rivaled that of the New York City steakhouse. My family thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal. I, myself; came back a few days later and enjoyed a football game with a few drinks. I waited half an hour and a young black female hostess told me they only had high chair seating near the bar.
