This was my second visit this month, and I decided to try the garden stuffed slice. It was alright, though I didn't love the mushrooms, and I found it could use a bit more flavor. The waitress was very kind and brought my food over to the table, which I appreciated. I'd enjoyed their chicken roll on a previous visit, so I returned yesterday to get one fresh. Unfortunately, this time it didn't quite meet my expectations--the roll was falling apart and didn't have the same flavor I remembered from the weekend. The prices are very reasonable, but I think a touch more seasoning would really enhance the dishes. read more

Came in a group for our holiday work dinner. We all enjoyed a selection of appetizers, including calamari, cold antipasto, bruschetta, shrimp cocktail, and buffalo wings. The calamari and bruschetta were my favorite appetizers. The wings were nice and saucy. For mains, most people had steak, and a couple went for seafood. I had the linguine frutti di mar. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and there was an abundance of seafood. The sauce was on the thinner side but had a nice seafood flavor throughout the dish. The shrimp was a touch overcooked for my taste, but the calamari, clams, and mussels were perfectly cooked. I had the spritz cocktail, which was sweeter/less bitter than an aperol spritz and a nice pinot noir. I especially enjoyed the affogato dessert, which had really smooth gelato. I also tried the chocolate cake and stracciatella gelato desserts, which were also tasty. Overall, we had great service - the staff was attentive and refilled water and wine regularly. The service has always been great and the ambiance is welcoming. Seems like a place people have gone to for years. Super super disappointed in their quality and service. They have unfortunately gone downhill over the last year or two. The pasta is hard and dry with never enough sauce (unfortunately ordered the same dish multiple times and it's always the same thing - minimal sauce and barely coated). Ordered take out for dinner, got home with $130 worth of food to find out we are missing one entire meal, the pasta part of my daughter's chicken parm (they literally just put 1 pc of chicken parm in a dish), and the salad dressing was wrong for the house salad. They ended up delivering the meals (cold I might add) after I requested it and keeping me on hold 6 minutes. We used to love dining there over the years but the last 3 times we have ordered from them it's been terrible each time. Unfortunately we aren't going back after this last time and will try one of the other 17 pizzeria's / italian restaurants in town. Avoid this one and spend your money elsewhere! read more

Ordered a well-done pizza. I got home to a barely cooked crust. Lifted up first slice, and it completely dropped down because how undercooked the crust was. Unbelievable! Lesson learned: since the employees can't do their job, you have to check the boxes before you leave! read more

I have eaten here for over 4 years but I have to give this place a one star due to the food and the owner's nasty behavior. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and another dish from them. The dish was delivered cold, with no seasoning and just plain inedible. The person who had the spaghetti and meatballs took two bites and immediately got sick and had to go to the Emergency Room and was told that they had food poisoning. I called the restaurant that same night to speak to a manager but was told a manager was not there but someone would call me back the next day. No one called me back so I called back and finally got a manager. What I got was a manager unwilling to even think that his food could be inedible. He was very nasty on the phone and rude. I am disputing the charges with my credit card company and I have told my friend to sue for the food poisoning. All in all...don't ever eat here! read more

Went here yesterday (10/12/2022) for my mom's birthday dinner. We went to the restaurant part again. We were surpirsed to see some full on booths that were located on the ends of the restaurant. We were sat at one of these booths too! Restaurant actually was a bit crowded, which is great to see! Next, our server greeted us and asked what we wanted for drinks. We all started with waters. My parents ordered titos with sprite. We started with the fried zucchini and eggplant parm appetizers. Apps came out in a timely manner. For entrees, I ordered the Linguni Frutti De Mare which was scallops, mussels, shrimp, and clams mixed in with pasta, my mom had a dish with sausage, chicken and broccoli rabe, and my dad had chicken soratina. i also had to ask what wines they had, and was recommended 14 hands wine by my server. Enjoyed it! Next, the food came out, and i gobbled down my seafood! took home the pasta as i didn't dig into the pasta. We all enjoyed our meals! next we got the check, paid with credit card, and btw this place doesn't charge for using credit cards. Hopefully we will be back soon! read more

Extremely disappointing. I don't mind paying for quality. The pizza was mediocre at best. Ordered a 1/2 pepperoni regular and 1/2 pepperoni Sicilian. Usually you can cut a Sicilian pie in thirds each way. This hardly filled 1/2 the box and was cut in half. $38.00. Tried them on a recommendation. This isn't Woodbury Commons. Ordered a delivery. A very SIMPLE order. Not only did they get it wrong, but it came cold. If I wanted to heat something up, I would've cooked for myself. The delivery driver was super sweet and only doing his job. Between the time my order left and was delivered, it was cold. Cold and also nowhere near what I ordered. I called and they were only willing to credit one of the items, the one that was the MOST wrong. EATER BEWARE!!! The food was so great at Posa Posa that we were estatic to find there was a location closer to our home. We even just went to Positano in Italy, so we were super excited to eat at Villa Positano for a taste of nostalgia as well. Everything was fine until I recieved my chicken francese. or should i say chicken f- this! After my first bite, I had to immediately spit it out. It was so rubbery and hard i couldn't even chew it. I had my wife try and and she spit it out as well. Not even being dramatic, it wasn't edible I kindly pulled my waitress over and said there was something wrong. Right off the bat, she began to question me and said "that is weird, your wives chicken is okay and it's meat from the same chicken." I told her to try it if she wanted to argue and she said she would go tell the chef. We sat for at least 10 minutes thinking someone would have the decency to come over to us and acknowledge the fact that we made a complaint. Even offer to make another dish, but nope. The only time our waitress came back was to bring the check. She never offered to take money off, say she told anyone, offer to give us something else free to compensate, or offer to make another one. OR APOLOGIZE FOR INEDIBLE FOOD. We would've been happy even being told she mentioned it and she sorry about it. The way she handled it was terrible! I am in disbelief that i had to even pay for that disgusting chicken. The waitress was a middle aged lady with glasses. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this restaurant and will be telling people NOT to go here. Walking out she even looked at us and said nothing. This is a disgrace to Italian food and good service and I will not come back here. Hope this can help someone else! read more

I've been eating here for 6 years since I've moved into town. It's had it's up and downs. A couple of years ago, it seemed to have come under a new owner and the menu was revamped and the food went from decent to very good on the restaurant side. The staff is is exceptional. The "pizzeria" side is poorly run with a rude staff, which brings me to the question: why are there two sides of the same restaurant and why are they run differently. Anything on the restaurant side is pretty good. Worth the slightly elevated price and service is excellent. The other side is another story. The staff yells at each other constantly and the food is inconsistent: considering the area where there is 10 pizzerias in a 5 mile radius, you'd think they'd step it up, but the dough on the pizza is bland and flaky. Pizza is 2 out of 5. All the other food is hastily put together and the portions are small for what you're paying. read more

We've ordered take out for work so I wanted to try having a sit down meal here. I was disappointed that when looking at staff in the kitchen and by the ovens they don't wear hair nets. There were two girls at the register and they both kept playing with their hair which makes me hope they're not handling food. If you sit in the actual restaurant they only have three options for pizza and if you want to order from the side with all the pizza options you have to wait about 20 minutes for you order. We ordered about a hundred dollars worth of takeout from here, and in our Grilled Chicken Caesar salad we found a dead fly. We were repulsed, we were unable to continue to eat. When we called this restaurant to inform them of this, they only gave the 10 dollars the salad was, and we mentioned that after we found the fly no one kept eating, as they too were afraid to keep eating their own meals.
