Not sure what they are since we were looking specifically for this place. Seems like not a lot of parking spots, but we arrived for lunch time on Labor Day weekend, not a lot going on in the entire building. By the main entrance there's a covered patio. See pic. Also, the back patio is awesome. So when the weather gets nice in a few weeks, it's going to be amazing. I'm sure the locals know about it. But we will try it for sure again. Inside, again, there was only one person at the bar. Probably because of the lunch time on a holiday weekend. We sat by the window in a booth. Which was glass wall to view the front patio. They have plenty of wine and beer selections. We got a few drinks. They were great. We don't know about the food, we didn't order anything. We will for sure come back! read more

This place is a little gem! The bartenders are great and the food is delicious. The carnitas tacos on happy hour are phenomenal and the BLT is amaaaaaazing. It's on Noble Bakery bread, so a total added bonus. They have fun rotating beers on tap. I look forward to cooler days so I can spend some time on the patio. read more

I was extremely impressed with Original Gravity. Atmosphere = Equivocally Chill. Food = Intentionally Delicious. Service = Remarkably Hospitable. We had the spicy edamame to start. It was fantastic. At first I thought it needed a bit of acid, but then as the umami of the togarashi kicked in and the addictively subtle spice kicked in, I realized we had consumed the whole bowl. We then split the Mac Daddy and The Bee's Knees. The Mac Daddy was delicious but I recommend getting it spicy. It had all of the great textural elements of creaminess and crunch with the breadcrumbs, but I would've loved a little acid with some hot sauce. The Bee's Knee's was phenomenal with its crispy fried chicken breast, the maple citrus butter and the soft and steamy Noble bun. Two thumbs up and a return visit in the near future! read more

This is me and my boyfriend's favorite spot for a late lunch/early dinner. Every time we've gone in the service has always been A1. They have a really wide selection of beer on tap, and the food never disappoints. It has a really hip vibe. It's a great spot to relax on the weekend. For sure a hidden gem! read more

Original Gravity was an awful experience. There was only one server and a bartender to service the restaurant and there were at least 15-20 customers so service was slowwwww. I ordered the Guinney Pigs appetizer and steak frites. The appetizer took forever to get to our table (20-30 minutes) and had only 4 small sausages. They weren't good and not warm. We waited another 20-30 minutes to get the steak. We wanted to share but it definitely was not enough for two. Maybe one. It had maybe 6 or 7 slices of steak. The steak was actually pretty good but at that point, we have been there for more than an hour and hungry so seeing that the plate wouldn't even make me full, we were disappointed. We left spending close to $40 that included drinks but my sangria was no good either. We actually left starving so we went to a fast food joint to fill up our tummies. read more

If you're a white person this is the place for you. My bank reversed the difference. They can't seem to produce a receipt with my signature on it or return a phone call about the additional charges that showed up this week. I'm sure it has a signature but it's not mine. On our recorded call they said they'd reverse the $3.00 additional. Holly and Michelle claimed the server, Andy, is new. It's only a 3.00 difference but not ok on principle and now the charge is $9.00 more than that but they won't produce a receipt or take my call. I gave the man an additional $2.00 cash. $8.00 on 36 is more than sufficient for poor service. They will however come on here and treat me like this tell me nothing happened. I had a feeling it was racist due to the cold reception I received upon arriving as did my white friend when she arrived. What made it worse is the server was weird about her hearing aid. We almost left. We only stayed because the rest of our party was still en route. They didn't give me a gift certificate. It's on site somewhere, maybe, but a gift certificate doesn't fix $12.00 in additional charges. And accusing me of lying without producing the actual receipt with my signature is proof they think I owe the world something. I'm afraid I'll get there, eat, and then they'll claim there's no gift certificate. I apologize. I didn't know there was an additional charge for being black in your establishment and speaking up about being overcharged. My friend managed to grab the original receipt. So I'll be posting that along with what I was charged. I'd have handled this with them over the phone but they won't take my call and I'm afraid of them. read more

Came in last night, what an incredible evening spent at original gravity. From the moment we walked in we were greeted immediately by Geniuses who was also our server. We started off with the polenta fries, they were so scrumptious!!! Then it was time to dive into the burgers. We got the American burger and then hot AF burger. Brought a group of 12 over. Made a reservation about a month in advance but they seemed to lose it when I called day of lol. Luckily they were still able to reserve the back patio for me so no worries! Back patio is great for larger groups (looks like it could fit a good 20ish people with some standing room), but you'd have to check with them first. I usually get the bees knees sandwich which is really good, but I got the steak frites today which were pretty good. Beer selection is really good and they carry a lot of Drekker as well. Great service too, staff is friendly and helpful. They took credit cards to start individual orders and asked for names whenever someone ordered something to make it easier to close out, that's awesome. Awesome happy hour spot! I met a friend at 4pm on a Wednesday and when I got there, I was the only one! It's so nice to go grab drinks somewhere in this area where you don't have to wait a huge amount of time for a table! The service was definitely great. We got great drink recommendations and even a cool flaming orange peel in my sake-tini. Make sure to ask about drink specials since there seem to be different specials depending on the day. Our servers realized that we wanted to chat and just hang out and definitely made sure our drinks were full, but they let us be with few interruptions. Who could ask for more!? It is a really cute place with lots of cool art on the walls. I have to say that they have some of the most interesting cups and glasses for drinks that I have seen! Bravo for creativity! We ordered pretzels and carnitas tacos. Our food was delicious, and it seems that the tortillas were handmade. Definitely had a great experience here the other night! We stopped in with our dog and sat on the patio. It was pretty busy inside and there was large party going on outside. It appeared that there was only one guy working too. He was great! He was able to take care of the large party, the whole bar, and give us good service outside, even bringing out a water bowl for the pup. We had the white wine of the day which was a blend and an IPA and for food we ordered the cauliflower app. The food is always good here and we will definitely be back! read more

This is such a fun but low key place in one of my favorite locations. I used to get my hair done in this same plaza, but never noticed this little corner location. The industrial yet natural style is unique and cozy, and I love the coffee shop, Esso, next door. The food was amazing! I got a glass of Lambrusco to drink since it's an easy red wine to pair with anything. We got the everything bagel pretzels to share, which were incredible. I'm dairy free, but I made an exception for this cheese sauce. The waiter joked about how fast I ate mine, which was fair because I did scarf it down shamefully quick. I had the Asian style salad for dinner, and the seared ahi on top was perfection. The rest of the table loved their food, too. Went here the other night on a double date with a couple of friends, definitely not what I had expected! I loved the layout and the location of this place, the staff were pretty friendly for the most part. There was one bartender working and it was pretty busy so props to her, she was attentive to our table. The food was good, not great but good. Their fries were amazing. My husband and I ordered the Steak and Freitas and were disappointed. The steak was so small compared to the rest of the plate (see photo). This was my daughter and my first time here. I don't understand why it wasn't crowded on a Saturday night. This place is awesome! Michael was bartender and waiter. He was magnificent. He helped us with some decisions. He made our drinks just right-delicious. This place is casual but welcoming. It would be best to sit outside on cool nights since there were no misters. This place is dog friendly. The food was delicious. I had carnitas tacos and my daughter had a hamburger. She ate it like it was her last meal. The cream sauce for the tacos was delicious also. I asked for some for my tacos leftover. I also had a side of sweet potato fries. Yum. We will definitely return but either not bring our dog since we sat in warm patio or come back when it's cooler. Gravity "O" has made its way to the top of my list of Phx favs. For Wine, Craft Beer or Meade.... Yeah, I said Meade.. they have a lot to chose from and have you covered. The menu... holy crap, does not disappoint. We loved our dinners. We had the Beef on Weck, which is Peppercorn Prime Rib sandwich, meat sliced to perfection and placed on a caraway dusted Noble Bakery bun. One of the best sandwiches ever. We also had the Bees Knees Chicken Sandwich, which has a orange glazed breaded chicken breast topped with hot citrus honey and whipped maple butter!!!! Is this for real? Hell yes... its a must and somebody in your party needs to order this amazing plate! Actually....both sandi's are a must and you will find it a hard to decide the winner. Our Phoenix Pub Pass brought us to this super fun, quaint little hidden gym in central Phoenix. The ambiance is eclectic & oddly cool- hidden behind a vine covered wall. The beer selection is amazing and the food so good! We had 2 beers, polenta fries & IPA glazed pork bellies to start. So surprisingly delicious! Worse possible meal I've had in Arizona. Definitely not even close to any of the Phoenix standards I've had. Never wished I could get a refund so bad because the food was so awful. I ordered to go a bees knees sandwich and the IPA pork belly app. The sandwich was the most tasteless chicken sandwich Ive ever had. Wasn't even a bit salty and definitely didn't taste like what was listed in the menu. The breading was not even slightly crispy and following suit to this whole menu tasteless. The butter was all over the fries and only had a slight buttery note with no maple to be found. Also wasn't even a touch sweet. The fries that came with the sandwich were not fully cooked and soft from the amount of grease in bedded within. Towards the end of a small portion also for the price paid. I put them in my air fryer and they were nice after that. Sad my air fryer made better fries than them. The pork belly was absolutely the toughest piece of pork I ever tried to bite through in my life. Like biting into a salty shoe. Not cooked properly at all. This was the biggest disappointment. Mcdonalds has had better nights than this. I never thought I would ever write that. There is definitely no reason for this establishment to continue to serve food. Not one item even showed any promise to ever have been good. I don't think this was a bad night. Major example is the "OG sauce " it actually tasted like puke. Ive actually had puke that tasted better than their sauce. I don't understand how a simple fry sauce could taste so bad. Its not even hard to throw together at home with even basic ingredients. One thing that was pleasant was the IPA sauce with the pork belly. Though given what I've had tasted from here I can almost imagine 100% that its bought and not made. 30$ dollars down the drain. read more

I love when drinks taste as good as they sound! The slooshies did not disappoint and were quite delightful and refreshing!!! The pretzels were super soft but the cheese it came with was very thick. You had to scoop it on top and not dip it on. Too thick for my liking. The carnitas tacos were probably the best part of my whole experience. A little kick to it that was balanced well with the sweet corn toppings. So tasty! A must try! This is a great local hangout. The reviews are correct EVERYTHING on the menu looks good. So here's what to get: Sliders are fabulous. Pick 3: my suggestion is Korean, Hawiian, and Italian (ask for a little more sauce). You can tell they use really good quality meat, the buns aren't overbearing (unlike mine), and the veggies are fresh. The pork belly fries are good. The cheese sauce is fabulous. If I could have it my way I would have the meat from the pork carnitas tacos on the fries with the OG sauce....heaven. The wine and beer selection is great. Staff is so so so friendly. Natasha took care of us, and even acqiessed to my lighting suggestion (little dimmer to distinguish between resteraunt and office).
