I wouldn't order the buffalo mac again because I'm not a fan of buffalo sauce, ("Why, then, did you order the buffalo mac?" you may ask. Because I'm an idiot and thought it'd be mac & cheese with real buffalo as the protein), but if you're into buffalo sauce this meal would be awesome. And they've got a heavy hand on the servings too, all three of us left full. Only issue we experienced were the flies since we sat outside. Other reviewers have knocked Oddfellows on this point but... come'on guys. Are the servers supposed to run around the deck with a fly swatter? You're dining outside in a Texas summer, channel your inner lord of the flies and get over it. We'll definitely be back in the future to try their dinner menu! I would give this place 7.5s/10. We went around Christmas and the ambiance inside was definitely that rustic winter vibe. Even though they were packed we got our food pretty fast and had a good time. ------------ The red velvet pancakes were the best part. They were melt in your mouth and the cream cheese sauce was the perfect complement. I'd give them an 8/10. We also had the mushroom toast (6.5/10) and the smoked salmon benedict (7/10). My buddy saw that they have bread pudding and wanted to get a piece. I saw beignets and had to order them with a hot mocha (extra pump of chocolate). Both were very good and are perfect ways to end a meal. Looking over the menu, I would have loved going there for dinner as well. Fried chicken + waffles, Buffalo Mac, Steak frites, chicken fried steak, and obviously, the Oddfellows Cheeseburger looks amazing! They all look delicious! Visited today with a friend for brunch. The place was busy per usual, however our server was a tad bit less responsive to our needs than prior experiences. It took more than 10 minutes to receive my coffee and when my order came, my veggie sausage and bread pudding French toast was tepid at best.... so disappointing this go around.... To top it off, there was a bug (roach) crawling the wall near our table (which I unalived before it landed on the table). I mentioned it to our server, she in essence dismissed it and bothered not to bring over the manager as mentioned. Paying $50 + for a mediocre experience is not my ideal. Second time here while traveling. I came two years ago and don't remember it being this bad. I ordered the Chicken chilaquiles (Forgot to take a picture before forcing myself to eat 1/2 of the dish.) They were mushy, not a sign of crisp anywhere in the tortillas, they seemed to have been cooked in the sauce as opposed to fried up and then adding the sauce after. It was served with a large chunk of uncut onion? The chicken was bland and flavorless and seemed boiled. There was literally zero seasoning present aside from the cilantro on top and sour cream. I don't know how to describe this other than a white woman's chilaquiles recipe? Confusing and disappointing for Dallas and a popular restaurant. The bigger issue was the flies! We sat outside so there's only so much that can be done about flies outside but we were seated just outside the window of the restaurant where the coffee station is and there was a fly graveyard inside. So clearly they have a fly problem inside and didn't bother to clean this up, or don't see it? I don't know which is worse. So unappetizing. Lastly, the service was poor. We were seated for about 15 min before anyone came to get our drinks order, at which point I just put in our food order quickly for fear of never seeing the server again. Service is unbelievably! I decided to treat myself to breakfast at Oddfellows while recovering from a major illness and surgery, hoping for a peaceful and relaxing meal. I specifically requested a quiet booth so I could enjoy my food in comfort. Shortly after I placed my order, the restaurant seated a woman with three small children, two of whom were fussy toddlers, directly next to me. I politely asked to be moved, but the waitress seemed visibly irritated and was very rude about my request. She first offered to move me outside, which was too chilly, and then to the bar, which I declined, before telling me I could not sit at another small table in the middle of the room because it was not in her section. At that point, I asked to have my food packed to go. The entire interaction felt dismissive, unaccommodating, and unnecessarily rude. As someone in recovery who simply wanted a quiet breakfast, I found her attitude unacceptable. The food itself was mediocre at best, which made the experience even more disappointing, which I was forced to sit in my car and eat. I will not be returning to Oddfellows, and I cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing or considerate dining experience. read more

I've been to Oddfellows a few times and the one thing I will say is it's very consistent. It does get very packed for brunch, so keep that in mind as you will probably wait a bit during peak times. I always head to the outside bar to grab a cocktail while I wait. There are also mocktails for the friends in the group who don't drink. The menu is extensive and offers a variety of options for everyone. Healthy options included. Service is good, but like I said during peak hours it can get crazy busy so just be patient. This place seems cute, but the experience was a little dreadful. My friends and I were sat outside with pets: a dog, and cat. We were in a little hurry so we ordered quickly when the server, Chris L, came by and we told them separate checks. My cat was chilling on the floor behind my friend's chair. When we received our checks, there were wrong items on our receipt. We just paid and left.
