Yay! I've been waiting for this store front to open for awhile. Utc hasn't had a store that sells nespresso pods so this will now be my go to stop instead of fashion valley's Bloomingdales. There isn't a lounge or sitting area like the sf location but this location has lots of outdoor sitting just outside it's doors. Not sure if complimentary tastings are typically reserved for nespresso owners only but when I came in they didn't ask if I had a machine. All the associates were really friendly and happy to do demos. Minus one star because they don't have to go coffee cups and no lounge area to enjoy your sample. Tip: if you buy 10 sleeves you get a free canvas bag! read more

Tammy is the most beautiful soul. She assisted me with ordering a new Nespresso Vertuo Next machine (in the rose gold, which is hard to come by because of their microchip shortage!). She made sure we got all the discounts she could offer- as a result I also bought a carafe and a few sleeves of coffee as well. She recommended the iced coconut pods which are new and they are absolutely delicious. She made buying coffee fun. Tammy is a gem and the UTC location is so lucky to have her. read more

I have been buying Nespresso for years on line. This last time I was charged $365 and they have no idea where it is, "their systems are down" and I can't speak to any one. They probably over expanded and now they are falling apart like so many other companies. Southwest, CVS and now Nespresso- Capitalism is a bitch. At last! Nespresso has opened a brick and mortar store in UTC mall. Now i can get my espresso pods while i'm shopping in the mall as well as i can sample some new flavors or enjoy my faves in the same spot. Yes, the tastings are complementary and you can try more then one :) The store is brand new, modern and spotless. Besides coffee pods they sell the Nespresso equipment as well. I love my nespresso. But i will never been returning to this store again after my experience. The manager Melissa let me down and left her employees high and dry when they needed her and it was so disheartening to see. I came in and was being assisted at the counter by a employee in training named Angel. The manager melissa was helping him at first but then left him alone. He did his best checking us out but didnt grab all of the pods i asked for and when we checked out the price seemed odd to me so i asked for a receipt and he couldnt get the machine to print and neither could the other employees. When they finally got the manager she told me to go to another store and come back but once i walked out i realized they were closing in 5 min. When i went back they told me the manager had taken her 30 min break. Ethan was finally able to get me a receipt but it was for $10 less than what i paid. He told me it was his mistake and i paid the right price but i really dont think i did. When i finally got home i didnt even get the correct pods i asked for and pointed to the pictures at the counter. It was just disappointment after disappointment and i blame the manager melissa. In store staff is amazing, super helpful, friendly and fast! I love their coffee, their high functioning machines and beautiful mugs, cups and accessories that you can get to make a high quality coffee at home. The location is super easy to access, parking, area, etc. Although the shipping, online and telephone service is pretty fabulous. Shout out to the young gentleman that helped me earlier today. I believe his name is Andrew. I had a rough morning at work and decided to do something I rarely ever do - step out of the office for a break. Work was getting to the point where I contemplated going back because today, for some reason, I felt the people I was working with was not appreciating anything I've done. So while walking around UTC to clear my head, I realized I was running low on coffee and decided to stop by the store. What happened next was a comedy of errors that both embarrassed me and blew me away. I wont go into details but I'll say this, it was my worst nightmare come true. "Andrew" kindly came to my rescue and totally made my day. He told me that he just wanted me "to have a great rest of the day". Love the free sampling bar so you can figure out the ones you like and dislike without having to buy an entire sleeve. Love that there's always a worker manning the sampling bar. No waiting around. Love that I can drop off a bag of used aluminum capsules for their recycling program. The stand alone store at this UTC spot is much better than the one at Fashion Valley which is located inside Bloomingdales. read more

I've enjoyed the Nespresso cafe in Neiman Marcus for quite sometime so I was happy to learn that a dedicated store was opening in the UTC area. Since I was nearby, I dropped in and checked it out. If you already have Nespresso is a great place to go and stock up! No lines when I went! If you're new to Nespresso this is a great place to learn about it and get a free coffee drink taster. Two stars for the store set-up and cleanliness. I love nespresso coffee but I will not come back to this location due to their poor customer service. First of all, there was a very long line but that was okay with me. Normal for a busy store on a busy day. While waiting in line, I sensed someone approaching from the side. I wasn't paying full attention so I was surprised at this and he seemed to be mumbling something I couldn't understand, probably because he had his mask on. So I said, "I'm sorry?" He suddenly put one arm akimbo (hand on hip). I think he asked if we wanted to try some samples and he was annoyed that he had to repeat himself. In my opinion, that specific hand action could be interpreted the wrong way. I felt offended, to tell you the truth but I politely said no. When I finally made it to the sales rep/cashier, I was glad that it was my turn. I didn't get her name but she was the tallest cashier of all of them. I asked what specials they had and she said they had a free blanket if you purchased 14 or more sleeves. I asked if there was any other special and she said no. I proceeded to tell her that I got an email showing more specials than just the blanket and she said I was welcome to go with the online promos instead of the store ones. She didn't go further than that. She didn't try to sell me any other goods. I felt that she just wanted me to get out of her face. I call that a weak sales person. No skills at all. She could have enticed me to buy a few sleeves, if she tried a wee bit more. I was ready to buy and I had a long coffee pod name list with me. Not my loss but theirs. read more

Uughh, I am so frustrated. We have a long-standing reorder with Nespresso. I put it on hold back in august (we had too much coffee after being gone most of the summer. Today is February 1 and I still can't get them to send coffee to my house. I have put in at least 5 calls to the service center, stopped in the local boutique, that was so slow and understaffed, that I found they had a $5 same day deliver option. So instead of spending another hour waiting in line. I paid the $5 with a delivery window that same night. Guess what? No delivery. Two more calls to corporate. It will arrive within 24 hours. Nope. Call again. This time they tried to call the local store (La Jolla). They won't answer. So they told me to drive back down to the store and wait in line and pick it up. I am so frustrated. I don't understand why it's so hard to have even decent customer service. read more

After paying the lady handed me the actual gc, i asked if I could have an envelope or a card for it and she told me they don't have it. I just got a Vertuo Plus machine for Christmas this year, and I was so excited! I've been secretly coveting their coffees every time I have it at friends' houses! I was stoked to check out the Nespresso store and shop for those little capsules of caffeinated goodness. The store is inviting, with friendly staff and a tasting bar. They have tons of flavors to choose from, and the barista will give you opportunities to try espressos and coffees for free. They even give some chocolates to taste to clear the pallets between coffee tastes. The staff seem to really know the coffee flavors well and clearly enjoy what they do. That makes a huge difference to me. They made great recommendations on which roast types they though I'd enjoy. And they were 100% correct! I totally recommend this branch for pod shopping. I Absolutely Love this store! The people who work here are so kind, especially the manager (a beautiful lady who's name I didn't catch) and Suzi. I asked about an online promotion and they kindly helped me pick out the cups that come with it, even by running off to the stockroom to bring them and they gave me coffee to sip while I waited! Someone give all of these ladies a raise! I come here weekly because of the excellent customer service and also tastings of the new coffee lines. This is the first standalone Nespresso store I've ever been to, as I usually only visit the boutique inside Bloomingdale's. The staff is very friendly, they have a nice variety of pods to choose from (including holiday ones still!), and they have a tasting center for those who want to try before they buy. Nespresso machines and their accompanying pods are definitely pricey, but well worth it if you're a major coffee aficionado! read more

OK, full disclaimer - I'm not a huge fan of Nespresso (my wife is), but I was very impressed with our multiple visits to the Nespresso store. Why buy here? Simply the associates here know Nespresso and know the difference between the systems as well as capsules. While the prices may not be the lowest, they also have some nice specials and bonus items (we got a free capsule container). Also, they will have the best selection of capsules and also very generous with their tastings. Definitely a great place to experience the concept and marketing of Nespresso! read more

Meh not a great experience... it's the Saturday before Christmas and they only have 2 registers open- the line was so long inside the store that people coming in immediately left- I wish I'd done the same. It took very long to get through the line... they also had no vertuo samples. When I asked to try the new Hermes raspberry coffee, she said they don't have enough staff to offer a sample. At the very least... open a box up and let customers take a pod home to try- that would be optimal customer service. I understand that staffing is tough these days... but at the very least, apologize for the line and offer a sample pod for customers since you're out of the "official ones" annd since you don't have the staffing to provide a sample at the coffee bar. read more

I absolutely love this store. Pros: - The staff - so friendly and helpful. Everyone is knowledgeable with all the products and coffee. I recognize that this is their job - but they are on point all the time and always offer suggestions that seem to match what you're looking for. - The store itself is very clean and organized. It's pretty small so on the weekends it can get crowded especially at the beginning of the month when limited edition flavors are available. - The selection is amazing, they always have everything available. Cons: - Due to this boutique being located at a mall that is undergoing construction it isn't the best, geographically, right now. However, once everything is done I think it'll be easier to get to. Parking will be paid in the future and on the weekend if you go to the newer parking garage it's always jam packed. read more

I own a nespresso machine sincE 2010 and only had the boutique inside Bloomingdales for a long time. Their customer service is a hit or miss, more like a miss. But once this boutique opened in UTC I don't mind driving further for their excellent customer service. Is far above the other store for sure. read more

The customer service experience at the one and only time I have been there was not the greatest. I wanted to stop by and pick up some Essenza pods as a gift for my girlfriends' parents for the holidays since they recently got a new machine. I have been following the specialty coffee industry for quite some time so I know what regions and roasts are good, but still decided to ask a staff member for their recommendations since I was not too familiar with Nespresso coffee. I was immediately shut down and told that they did not have any assortment packs for sale and was told to simply buy a cup or a gift card instead. I was then given a lecture along the lines of "people who do like dark roasts will not like light roasts" and "if they don't know coffee, then they should look for what flavors they like on their own." By no means is that hospitable nor helpful when I went in there asking for coffee recommendations. I then looked on the websites' capsule collections and found exactly what I was asking about. I still followed through with the purchase despite the displeasing customer service. read more

Love Nespresso, excellent quality coffee and packs a punch. Gets me to wake up in the morning. I have mine with a splash of creamer and some ice cubes. I'm always going to this Nespresso Boutique right before they close at 9pm to grab a few sleeves of coffee when I'm our of coffee. Everyone is always super friendly and nice. Last person who helped me was John. John was awesome. If you don't remember to bring your coffee pods back to the Boutique for recycling like I do. Several visits here to this beautiful store. Friendly staff with free, unlimited tastings. They will price-match on Amazon or other sites for the machines, which is a big plus. I walked out with a new machine and some glassware. Sleeves I typically order from online, but it was nice to be able to try the new coffee releases in-person. read more
