One of our favorites even knows us by name and is the one who talked us into stopping to just be together on the patio and enjoy our beverages and conversation without the hustle. They always have plenty of options, know how to upsell to try something new, and if they don't have it they make sure to be clear on the menu before you would waste time in line. This Starbucks has become even busier with the increase of people moving to this areas, the Holidays & this is one of the few Starbies you can come in and sit down in the Brushy Creek / Avery Ranch area. I love to come listen to music, do my work, and relax. The parking is plentiful & for ADHD brains like me, lots of activity but also calming moments. During the times I am there Jayeda (hopefully I spelled this close to her actually spelling) has been working as barista. She deserves the utmost respect for holding it down & keeping Starbucks mission & vision of customer service in the forefront. I have seen her actually take a pushy & rude customer and leave them with a smile. She stays calm in the storm delivering consistent customer service, delicious drinks, and starbucks vibes. This is even with my high maintenance order of Royal English Black Tea with steamed cream & 7 Splenda (yes, saying it loud & proud)!! I must say the whole crew here is outstanding but today, seeing Jayeda in motion for hours & hours, I wanted to send a shout out! By the way, If you are not using the Starbies APP to order ahead, you are doing Starbucks all wrong. You are missing out on benefits & having your drink & goodies ready when you come in. It was my first and unfortunately will be my last time coming to this location on my visit tonight. I'm not a coffee snob despite coming from Seattle. I just like simple hot chocolate and occasionally get one. I walked in about an hour before closing to a virtually empty store with no line. Given the season, I asked the barista if she could still make the Signature Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate (which I realize hasn't been on the menu for a while). Instead of answering nicely, she just glared at me and said "I'd need a recipe." I usually get an answer like "sure!" or "we have the caramel but not the salt." Not the end of the world, but it was not a good tone. I didn't complain, kept it upbeat, and left a tip. She didn't ask my name and after starting to make my drink vanished into the back room. I was on my phone while waiting, close to the counter. I looked up a while later because it'd been talking a while, and a drink was there, without label, and the staff were all gone. Was it mine? A man appeared, eventually, and was kind enough to check it was hot chocolate before I took the drink. No clue what the lady had against me with the bad attitude and not even letting me know when she got around to finishing the drink, but at least I had it. I took a drink on my way out of the store, and it was awful. I don't know how you mess up hot chocolate. It was clearly made from water rather than milk, and also tasted bitter with faint hint of chocolate. It was warm, at least. I took it home to dump out, but my kids stopped me and drank a little of it first. ‍ It's really such a minor thing, but I don't understand why the barista would be rude, and even when I'm just nice through it and leave a tip she clearly does it wrong, vanishes again without note, and doesn't even bother letting me know it's done. This was just really bad service. It's like a teenager not really interested in being there, happy to screw around with people on other people's dime. Ah well. It's really unfortunate that this Starbucks allows homeless people to camp out on their patio all day. They spread their trash and junk out all over the tables and smoke right at the entrance and the manager could absolutely care less. The smell of body odor and cigarette smoke is completely disgusting. ThIs is our least favorite Starbucks location around us. The coffee drinks we have gotten here are always weak and taste more like milk than coffee. Also, they are very slow. Even if you order on the app, your order is often not ready when it says it will be. They don't update their inventory on the app, so we have ordered food they don't have when we get there. That's super frustrating because they are taking away all the benefits of the app! read more

I very rarely stop by a Starbucks, but I had a gift card so I dropped in this morning for a tea and breakfast. I was very impressed overall. There is no drive thru, which I was a little concerned about at first, but I got in about 9am and there was no wait. All of the employees were very friendly and even offered to give me a drink carrier and a bag without me asking! You never see that anymore, you always have to be the one to ask. I got the ham, egg, and Swiss croissant along with a shaken iced tea and it was all delicious! The sandwich was warmed up perfectly and tasted like it had just been made. It's a little inconvenient that there isn't a drive thru at this location, but the friendly staff, clean restaurant, and short wait time is worth it and I will definitely be back. read more

It is in a good location in the HEB center. Their coffee is consistent and fresh here. They have outdoor seating which is great. They ran out of nitro cold brew which is fine and asked me to pick something else which so I did regular cold brew and asked if there is a price difference. The girl said no that she wouldn't make me pay more if it was more expensive. I was like....? Why would regular cold brew be more expensive than nitro. Looks and tastes like a Starbucks, without the crowd. Every time I come, the baristas are very friendly and the place is not empty, but not bulging at the seams. There is never more than one person in front of you. I especially like the mini-donuts and scones. The patio furniture underneath the wood awning is a great escape when the weather cools down. Starbucks is the McDonalds of coffee. Though I do find Starbucks coffee to be more like coffee than McDonalds produces actual food. When people love establishments that could offend no one, I become suspect. Saying a Starbucks is close, clean, affordable and serves good coffee is like saying that prostitutes...well, you get my drift. I went in with my family and had a hot chocolate and an apple fritter. Both were good and I had no complaints. I never choose to stop into a Starbucks on my own except to get coffee grounds to use in my compost pile. That is an act I actually respect the chain for by the way. The coffee at Starbucks is ok. I'll never look down on you for going to their establishment but I consistently wonder what it is Americans want out of their food, dining and beverage experience. Typically that seems to be cheap, quick and soul crushingly void of any thought what so ever. The last time I enjoyed a Starbucks was when I lived in the whitest place on planet earth, York, Pa. The Starbucks seemed like Haiti compared to the white as the driven snow population living on macaroni and cheese and fasnachts. Coffee, it's a beverage that runs, fuels and keeps corporate America going. I hope the farmers producing the beans are obtaining a decent livelihood for their families. read more

The coffee and service have dramatically improved at this location over the past few years. Drinks are consistent and ready promptly if you order online, and servers are friendly. Only downsides are the volume of people and that crumbs tend to build up on tables, but I feel like this is true of most Starbucks locations I go to. Wish they'd build a larger store and update the interiors and seating. read more

Typically I avoid Starbucks unless its the only coffee option in the area. I was working in the area and stopped here because it was the only thing around but I was extremely pleasantly surprised! Every single employee here is awesome, personable, friendly... they call their customers by name, tell people to have a great day, theyre quick and dont dilly dally chit chatting amongst themselves like what normally happens and it just overall has a great vibe in this place.
