I didn't feel like pizza so I ordered buffalo wings, a salad, and some cheese sticks. I used Yelp to order delivery and it went so smoothly I'd recommend it to everyone. The quoted delivery time was 45 minutes and sure enough, the driver arrived pretty much on time. The cheese sticks were nothing special. The buffalo wings were juicy, but not covered with too much sauce, which I liked. Sometimes I'd get buffalo wings from other places and they'd be dry, but not from here. The salad had a mix of veggies (baby carrots, romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, and banana peppers) so I commend them for that. However, some of the lettuce leaves were wilted and brown so I ended up not eating half of it. This is a pizza place though!! I didn't even expect anything more than some iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and croutons so I give them credit for making a worthwhile salad in terms of contents. Better late than never ;-) I eat veggie pizza about once a week and over the last couple months have become a more solid fan of Mountain Mike's. Lots of veggies and timely delivery. I am not a big fan of their cheese, reason for loss of 1 star. That said, I will continue to order and enjoy. Once I ordered through Yelp and after an hour wait realized order was likely lost. First off the only reason, we go here is because our kid likes the pizza and for this type of pizza it's ok. My poor review is because of the people running it. From a person with a fake service dog licking the salad bar while the owner stood there and said it was ok, to the incompetent counter lady who doesn't know how to use a card reader and then blames it on me the customer. As an east coaster I have struggled for a long time here out west to find good pizza. By no means is mountain mikes as tasty as good old fashion east coast pizza BUT so far the best pizza place I've come across in the east bay. This location In Particular has good customer service and the pizza is consistently tasty and crisp. Nothing is worse than mushy pizza. I happily would recommend this place. Only critique would be the salads can sometimes not be so fresh. Not Terrible but not great. Still overall a good place however. And they deliver, big bonus! read more

This pizza is really tasty. I love that they aren't afraid of pizza sauce (they don't go crazy with it, but I've found it seems to be missing from a lot of pizzas these days). My friend and I had it last night and he was very impressed too (and we've both had Little Star and Zachary's so I'd say the competition is heavy). Delivery was quicker than expected so that was nice, I and like that they cut the pieces small, they are much more manageable. I'd say it is on the pricey side, but maybe I'm out of touch with pizza prices, I don't have it often. I'd definitely recommend this place to a friend though! read more

In the complete spectrum of pizza I would put Mountain Mike's squarely in the middle. The crust is a bit thicker than I like and nothing about the flavor really stands out. For my first time at mountain mikes, I was surprised that the pizza was as good as it was. I'm normally not a huge fan of small slices however the pizza here was an exception. The pizza was slightly pricey but worth it. For the salad bar, it was top notch compaired to other experiences I have had at other pizza chains. The interior of the building was very clean and neat. I got to this pizza place to pick up the order. They didn't notice or care that the order was suppose to get ready 5 minutes ago. They started working on my order after I told them about my order. The lady asked me to wait 10 mins. I told them it was suppose to be ready 5 mins ago. Then she started talking bad about me in Punjabi language, which I understand, when I was walking out of door. Nice new place. Pizza is to be expected from Mountain Mikes. I've been to several of these chain stores in the past. Bathroom is crystal clean, even has a fancy toilet that minimizes water waste with two different flush settings. However, they have a leak on the kitchen pipe that is continually wasting water. At hotel in Berkeley on business. Ordered at 9:15... $30 including tip and a $4 delivery fee to be delivered by10:00. Called restaurant multiple times, called Grubhub, who said they were told the delivery would arrive by 10:50. Now 11:15 and Grubhub can't reach anyone and I had to cancel. I popped into my hometown Mountain Mikes looking for a nice hot round pizza. And that is exactly what I got. Don't get me wrong, I don't normally eat pizza, but when I do, Mister Mike is the way to go. I will say this has at times been a love-hate affair. I burnt the back of my uvula one time.
