Holy cow! What a deal.... They offered their so-called "signature slice" but dude, it should be called "double slice" because basically it's two slices of pizza for only $7.45!! Then there was a large 20 ounce of Heineken for ONLY $5.00 today- ice cold glass! Your choice 16 or 20 ounces! The pizza Chef came out, served my pizza and asked me if I wanted some ranch dressing. Wow, what service and great ambience in a nice clean hip environment! So, I had the veggie pizza which was fantastic with onions, tomatoes, spinach, and more! My friendly server PRETTI deserves a gold medal for expert service and friendliness! This has got to be one of the best deals in Berkeley. It's back and newly remodeled, super cute inside. Surfboard as backdrop for beer pulls. I always get railroad gage (meat slice). Listen for $8.50 total it's such a deal, 2 decent sized slices, now I work on Ashby so will go afterwork sometimes. Guys who work there are very nice and respectful. NOTE: Parking is usually available in front, unlike before when it was farther down Shattuck and very difficult. Very happy with this location, Oakland location closed years back, now it's Mama's Boy which I don't prefer. read more

Extreme Pizza has the friendliest workers, incredibly good prices and pretty decent pizza! The salads are huge and half the price of Mixt. I usually get the gluten free crust which is nice and thin, but I wouldn't recommend putting too many toppings on it because it isn't as sturdy as a regular crust. read more

I was working in Berkeley and saw that Extreme Pizza had just opened. I have eaten at other locations so decided to stop in. It has a very nice layout when you walk in. There are some tables and a bar. I ordered the Everest Pizza and it was absolutely delicious. There was plenty of sausage, pepperoni, salami and meatballs and the sauce had a very nice taste!. I also took some cheesecake to go and it was amazing. I didn't order a salad, but I saw a few being made and they looked very fresh! They also have calzones, wings and sub sandwiches . I saw there was beer but not sure what other alcohol they have. I met the owner and she was so sweet and welcoming and I will definitely come back to this location! read more

The pizzas are incredible. Since this Extreme Pizza opened on our block, we crave it. I've tried 8 different pizzas- all of which made me melt with joy. My husband is obsessed with the Yard Sale and newly the Double Dipsy sandwich! I have never eaten so much pizza in my life and I'm not sorry for it. We tell everyone- run! Don't walk. This place has the most regular pizza. I give it a solid meh. The crust is like cardboard and the sauce is just ok. The wings are pretty good if they make them extra crispy. That is the only reason I gave them 2 stars and not 1. There are a thousand more places you could go for better pizza. read more

This place was recommended by a friend, so decided to give it a try. Got a medium Spice Route very flavorful pizza . Also got an order of the zip line knots which were to die for! Ended the meal with their big chewy cookie . Paul took care of us and had a really great experience. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The new location is awesome. I hated the old extreme but these owners really care about food quality and great service! They have great vegetarian selections with their veggie wings and substitutions. They also have super affordable slices if you walk in. There's a good selection of beers on tap and hopefully more ciders soon! read more

Probably the best pizza in the area and for $7.95 a gigantic slice (the pizza is delicious and fresy) and $2.50 for their jumbo chocolate chip cookies (which were incredible and very fresh) you cannot beat the price and quality! read more

The old Extreme Pizza location on Shattuck Avenue was a go-to for us, and we've missed it (and some of our favorite pizzas, including Railroad Grade, Green With Envy and the one that now goes under the name Mammoth-something). So it was nice to see that Extreme reopened last week in a new building on the same block. We stopped in for a late afternoon slice and beer. The pizza was as good as we remembered it. It's a small but neatly appointed shop with a nice bar, and the folks who served us, Annie and Preet, were great -- really friendly and attentive. It's nice to see Extreme back in Berkeley! read more

I was visiting friends in Berkeley and decided to stop by and try out Extreme Pizza. As soon as I walked in I received excellent customer service. I ended up trying the Yard Sale 8" and their Zipline Knots. They have a variety of beers on tap, with a selection of non alcoholic beverages. Would highly recommend trying them out. read more
