    Buffalo Wings - 8 Wings

Truly disappointing. My husband and I got it for delivery and ordered the wings, masala pizza and spicy bread. The pizza needed more flavor (maybe a nice cilantro chutney would have been nice?) and better sauce. Somehow they managed to both overcook the chicken wings which were dry yet with flabby skin and lacked sauce, seriously gross. The spicy bread was ok, I guess? I don't think we will be getting it again given the many better Oakland pizza options.

The pizza is unique and a great fusion. I ordered the tikka masala pizza and gyro pizza. In regards to pricing, I think it's a bit overpriced for the size you're getting. I ordered a medium and large and it looked more like a small and medium. I wish the tikka masala had more sauce but the gyro pizza was purrrrrfecttttttt. There is no indoor seating so takeout is the best option. This spot is more suited for a quick bite or a stop before a night out.

I've wanted to try Namaste Pizza for a while since I really like the idea of fusion pizza and I'm glad I finally had a chance to this evening. Ordering through their website, I was immediately notified that my order would be ready in 15 minutes. Awesome! My wife and I ordered the chicken tikka masala pizza and a side of the minty bread. Though we were tempted to order a few sauces on the side - since they all sounded really tasty, we ultimately decided against it, just so we could appreciate the flavors of the pizza and bread on their own. Of the two, I definitely liked the minty bread more: the flavor was a lot more pronounced than the chicken tikka masala pizza, and the bread packed a good amount of heat. The chicken tikka masala flavor only really came through when I bit into a piece of chicken. Had it not been for the chicken, I might've thought I was having a barbecue chicken pizza. Price wise, $25 for the large pizza gets you a lot of food; I definitely had a lot of leftovers after our dinner this evening. I am eager to come back to try more pizza flavors.

Indian flavored pizza...yum! Previous to finding Namaste, I had only know Atlas in San Bruno. The prices for Indian pizza at Namaste are comparable to the price of pizza at other pizza joints in the bay area. I had ordered a Togo order for Saturday pickup around 11:30am. My order included the aloo gobi and the minty cheesey bread (free with check-in!). I arrived slightly before the 15 min quoted time and the pizza needed a bit longer in the oven. The pizza crust was very good, it's fluffy and thicker than a thin crust pizza. The flavors of the aloo gobi topping was fantastic and had a nice little spice kick. The minty cheesey bread was also good. Similar to other reviewers, definitely recommend eating this first while it's hot! Next time, I'd probably request a little bit less cheese. The tomato dipping sauce was also very flavorful. Overall, I'd recommend this place. The pizza tasted good and was very fresh. I can't wait to try the other pizzas. Service was friendly and quick. There are a couple of extra coupons in their take-out menu if you're looking to save a couple of extra bucks.

I love the pizza here. The ingredients are fresh and service is quick. I decided to call in my order instead of using third parties so that they'd get all the profit. I tried the Tandoorilicious - spicy and it was delicious. I cant wait to try some more items off of the menu. I wish they had personal sizes, their smallest is alot of food but that's no big deal- I enjoyed it as leftovers reheated in the air fryer. The inside seemed super clean and parking in the evening was super easy.

It was alright. It came highly recommended but was not the best pizza. Wings were a bit soggy too.

Overpriced, 2 dollars for a single cup or ranch is insane. Unmopped floors really dirty and the food isn't all that great.

Ask the Community - Namaste Pizza

Hi, have never tried this place before. Is original crust thin or relatively thick vs thin crust? Wanting to order an XL pizza for my son's birthday and noticed online spice level of mild (med, spicy) is the original sauce spicy or just tomato?

Hi there, we are planning on trying your spot this weekend and ordering through Uber Eats. We are vegan. If the pizza does not list cheese I assume it does not come with cheese? Just want to make sure. We are thinking of ordering the Aloo Gobi. TY

Yes you will have to specify / select vegan cheese . Every pizza listed will come with regular cheese , if you want no any alternations it has to be mentioned ..…

What exact meat items are halal on your menu? it would be good to know what is always halal vs having to ask each time what is halal. thanks in advance!

    Do u have halal meat?

Sorry for the delay. but...yes we do serve Halal meat. Please ask for halal meat on the menu when you place the order.…

    Do they serve slices?

No, I don't believe that they do serve slices.

They closed for a time, and now seem to be thriving again! Heading to the Greek for a weekend show, we wanted to pop in somewhere close-by. We cozied up to bar seating, and enjoy a couple of martinis featuring local gin and vodka, and ordered some food to share: the Original Tikka Masala Flatbread (we had to finally try it!), and the Sev Puri Chaat (first time trying this ever!). Service was amazing, and if I could write this review purely on the originality and creativity of the menus, I would (see pics!) The menus were CD cases (remember those, ha) with a fun take on 'Spice Girls', titled 'East Bay Spice Company'. For Spice Girls fans, you will recognize what album this was derived from. Each page of the cd book was a different part of the menu, including drinks, happy hour (from 2-6pm), and food. So fun, and unlike anything I've ever seen before. The food was so fresh and delicious. Loved the pomegranate seeds and lightness from the Sev Puri Chaat, bite size garbanzo bean/potato goodness! And standing O for that flatbread..pro-tip: get a side of the Tikka Masala sauce to pour on top. Absolutely amazing. I'm a huge fan of Tikka Masala, and having that sauce be a base for a pizza...come on!! We did chicken as the protein. Overall, so happy to return and have East Bay Spice back apart of the Berkeley rotation again. Small, dimly-lit, cool digs. Also check out their sister spots: Tap in Lounge and Tipsea in Berk, Blue Rabbit Bar off San Pablo, and Lemon Drop in Alameda.

The presentation was impeccable, and the sauce was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The chicken seemed like a leaner cut, possibly breast, but it was still tender and not overcooked. I thoroughly enjoyed this plate and would 100% come back to order it again. My husband ordered the flatbread, though I can't remember the exact name, and it was surprisingly delicious as well. It tasted almost like a pizza version of the chicken tikka masala, making it a great shareable option if you're looking to snack, chat, and enjoy cocktails. Speaking of cocktails, the bartenders seemed very knowledgeable and helped me choose a drink based on my preferred spirit and cocktail style. I ended up with the Skeleton Key, which was strong, but still paired well with the meal. I'd happily come back to try more cocktails and, of course, order that chicken tikka masala again.
