    Chicken Pizza Masala 14"

The pizza is unique and a great fusion. I ordered the tikka masala pizza and gyro pizza. In regards to pricing, I think it's a bit overpriced for the size you're getting. I ordered a medium and large and it looked more like a small and medium. I wish the tikka masala had more sauce but the gyro pizza was purrrrrfecttttttt. There is no indoor seating so takeout is the best option. This spot is more suited for a quick bite or a stop before a night out.

I've wanted to try Namaste Pizza for a while since I really like the idea of fusion pizza and I'm glad I finally had a chance to this evening. Ordering through their website, I was immediately notified that my order would be ready in 15 minutes. Awesome! My wife and I ordered the chicken tikka masala pizza and a side of the minty bread. Though we were tempted to order a few sauces on the side - since they all sounded really tasty, we ultimately decided against it, just so we could appreciate the flavors of the pizza and bread on their own. Of the two, I definitely liked the minty bread more: the flavor was a lot more pronounced than the chicken tikka masala pizza, and the bread packed a good amount of heat. The chicken tikka masala flavor only really came through when I bit into a piece of chicken. Had it not been for the chicken, I might've thought I was having a barbecue chicken pizza. Price wise, $25 for the large pizza gets you a lot of food; I definitely had a lot of leftovers after our dinner this evening. I am eager to come back to try more pizza flavors.

Indian flavored pizza...yum! Previous to finding Namaste, I had only know Atlas in San Bruno. The prices for Indian pizza at Namaste are comparable to the price of pizza at other pizza joints in the bay area. I had ordered a Togo order for Saturday pickup around 11:30am. My order included the aloo gobi and the minty cheesey bread (free with check-in!). I arrived slightly before the 15 min quoted time and the pizza needed a bit longer in the oven. The pizza crust was very good, it's fluffy and thicker than a thin crust pizza. The flavors of the aloo gobi topping was fantastic and had a nice little spice kick. The minty cheesey bread was also good. Similar to other reviewers, definitely recommend eating this first while it's hot! Next time, I'd probably request a little bit less cheese. The tomato dipping sauce was also very flavorful. Overall, I'd recommend this place. The pizza tasted good and was very fresh. I can't wait to try the other pizzas. Service was friendly and quick. There are a couple of extra coupons in their take-out menu if you're looking to save a couple of extra bucks.

I love the pizza here. The ingredients are fresh and service is quick. I decided to call in my order instead of using third parties so that they'd get all the profit. I tried the Tandoorilicious - spicy and it was delicious. I cant wait to try some more items off of the menu. I wish they had personal sizes, their smallest is alot of food but that's no big deal- I enjoyed it as leftovers reheated in the air fryer. The inside seemed super clean and parking in the evening was super easy.

My friend raved about this pizza and I had no idea what to expect when it came to pizza from an Indian restaurant. We ordered takeout which was ready pretty quickly and I was soooo excited once I caught a sniff of it. This is what we ordered: - Tikka chicken masala: okay, one, how can you not love this from its name alone. It's exactly what it is, chicken tikka masala on a pizza crust. The garlic sauce is delicious and the chicken is tender. Overall very flavourful. I loveee that they put cilantro all over so you can get cilantro in every bite. - Tandoorilicious with potatoes: this pizza was probably even more flavourful. I thought maybe having potatoes on a crust would be weird but no! It was well seasoned and not dry at all. It was like having fries on pizza but not as dry as that sounds haha. It was delicious! Overall, a really unique take on pizza and I will definitely be back to try more!

I ordered a couple of their popular dishes, the KAOKAO Char Siu Set and the Chong Qing Noodles, and both were fantastic. The char siu was so tasty, nicely cooked with most of the fat rendered (a big plus since unrendered fat especially on BBQ is a pet peeve of mine). It had that satisfying chew, a subtle smoky char, and a sweet-savory black bean glaze that tied everything together. The rice and pickled cucumbers on the side were a great balance to the in your face flavors of the pork. The Chong Qing Noodles were another highlight. You can tell the noodles are handmade as they are springy, chewy, and full of texture. The staff actually recommended that I get them uncooked since I was ordering to go, so I could boil them at home for a few minutes to keep the perfect bite and they were totally right. The broth was rich and balanced, with nutty sesame paste, a gentle kick from chili oil, a bit of crunch from peanuts, and some fresh bok choy for contrast. Everything was packed thoughtfully for takeout and still tasted amazing even after a longer drive. Overall, a really pleasant experience with great food, great service, and a place I'll definitely return to next time I find myself around Berkeley!

The bowl was a strange contrast of textures. Flavor wise, there were more misses than hits. The pork belly was overcooked with the chewy meat rendered almost inedible. When you walk in, you step into a vast, open concept restaurant where you can fully see into the entire kitchen and feel how everything connects into the space where you dine. I immediately notice that each table had a tiny sake bottle holding a mouthful of freshly picked wildflowers sitting on top. It spoke to my heart as I love reusing cool bottles just for the same purpose. My bf and I were greeted warmly and walked to our table. We arrived knowing what we wanted so we ordered straight away. My bf ordered the Pork Belly Tonkotsu and I had the Vegan Spicy Miso with tofu done 3 ways. My bf really enjoyed his ramen and said the meat was tender and flavorful, the broth "just right". My vegan ramen was pretty standard overall. I didn't find the broth to be very complex (it was solidly "miso") but I appreciated the texture of the noodles (they were absolutely perfect!) and the 3 types of tofu offered great variety- soft plain tofu, abura tofu (fried bean curd), and stewed bean curd. There were several distinct textures of tofu to savor: soft, crispy & creamy, firm. The owner, Stella, was on the floor as we headed up to pay for our meal. She was so kind to gift me an empty sake bottle after I complimented on the table decor. We learned about the painstaking patience required to open this location in Berekely and how passionate she and her staff are about the food they bring to the community. Our total for 2 entrees and 2 drinks was $60 before tip. We ordered two drinks (orange juice and an iced mocha) which were provided promptly. The orange juice was a little too sour and my mom had to add some sugar to improve the taste. The iced mocha was good, not too sweet. One thing to note the wait for our food took much longer than expected, and it may have been due to how busy it was. My mom opted to order the salmon yuzu benedict and I got an egg plate (scrambled eggs) with a side green salad. My mom mentioned the potatoes lacking salt but she enjoyed the salmon benedict. I thought the scrambled eggs were good, but slightly bland & needed salt and pepper. The side green salad was alright, but the vinaigrette had a bitter aftertaste. Overall, the meal was pretty good and timing wasn't the best. I'd likely return for brunch on a non-peak day. Definitely recommend joining the yelp waitlist prior to arriving if you can!

The lettuce wrap came in two steamed, wilted pieces of iceberg, while the brioche bun was untoasted, foamy-textured and soggy. Both medium burgers had the consistency of boiled meatballs. The bacon jam was decent, but the overall experience was wildly unappetizing. We also both got plain fries, which were somehow greasy and dry at the same time, and instantly turned stale as they cooled down.
