    Dragon's Breath

Found another hidden gem through The Richmond Standard! This time, it's located in the parking lot of 7 Stars dispensary!!! They've been open for about 7 months and are currently a pop up style establishment, right outside of 7 Stars dispensary. They're open Sundays and Mondays now as of March 2026. Check their Instagram page for updates, though: @goldpieig I did not expect the pizza to be so good!!! The article wasn't lying, when it said that it was "flavorful and authentic"! (The owners used to work at Rotten City Pizza before it closed) The crust is thin, crispy, but chewy! Their dough goes through a 72hr cold ferment period! I've gone back twice so I could try their different pizzas before writing this review. I've tried: - Brooklyn: olive oil and fresh garlic base with caramelized onions - Dragon's Breath: olive oil and fresh garlic base with whipped ricotta and garlic chips/confit - Three Little Pigs: red sauce base with pepperoni, italian sausage, and bacon (a bit salty for me) - Heaven on Earth: pesto base with pepperoni I'm more of a white sauce kind of girly, so the Brooklyn and Dragon's Breath are my favorites!!! Also, I love garlic and caramelized onions, so it was quite obvious I was going to like these! This is truly a hidden gem and I'm so glad my bf and I got to check them out and discover a new favorite in the community! I'm looking forward to what they will add to their menu and hoping they'll sell their buffalo ranch, which we were lucky enough to try!

    The Brooklyn

Moved here from Brooklyn 6 months ago. Have been searching for good pizza ever since. This is far and away the best pizza I've had since leaving New York. Simple toppings done extraordinarily well. Good chew and great crust. Scott gave his recs and suggested candied jalapeños for the pepperoni pie. Excellent addition. The whole crew was awesome.

This pizza smacks. Pepperoni on every bite!

This came with fried wontons, fried tempeh and meatball skewer. The fried wontons were crispy and had a shrimp and herb stuffing, went well with the sweet and spicy chili sauce. Fried tempeh had batter on it, little pieces of cilantro (or some green) in batter. This went well with the sweet and spicy chili sauce. The meatball skewers had a sweet soy glaze on it, nothing too special but reminded me of an asian meatball with a sight chew/bounce to it. Overall, this was a good snack to have.

There were some photos, but it wasn't entirely intuitive which option to select. Little One got the kids' meal, noodle with soup, for $8. There are two kinds of noodles. One is more like a Ramen and the other one is more like a rice vermicelli. Little One said he liked the thick noodles better than the thin noodles. Both noodle types were okay, but not exceptional. It came with a bowl of piping hot broth. The broth has a mild flavor with some fried onion bits, more like a regular Ramen broth versus Pho broth. It is quite salty, and not very greasy or unctuous. Not a lot of depth of flavor. We didn't want to drink it by itself and ended up throwing out about half of it. It is not spicy, but you can get a small tub of chili sauce on the side. I got the Combo B ($16), which is like a sampler platter with a tiny bit of noodles (2 types), a tub of hot broth, 2 meatball skewers, 1 fried won ton. Little one said the fried wonton was really good. The meatballs were definitely the star of the show. They were not too chewy, very tasty, and had a slightly spicy glaze. Hmmm...maybe there's an error on the menu, but it says I was supposed to get 3 meatball skewers?? The people working at this food truck were extremely nice and friendly. The food came out very quickly. They apparently run some promotions, so it would be a good idea to follow them on social media if you're looking for deals. Overall, it seemed the grilled items were better than the noodle soups. The amount of food was not that much, but that is to be expected from food trucks. Be sure to check your order before leaving.
