Honestly, pretty meh. Look, it's not bad pizza - covers all the bases and I like a lot of toppings so went for the Republic Pizza Combo. Not bad but the base was very thick and some of the toppings felt undercooked. That said, great staff and a pretty good price. And, as someone who grew up on lamentable British pizza it was OK, and the extra slices for breakfast aged well. One caveat, it was very salty. With both the initial pig out and the breakfast slices caused a real water craving afterwards. Ended up chugging a couple of pints. Maybe it's a crust thing. So not bad, but not great.

I like the variety of slices. They have good specials on Sunday's. I have been a customer for years. Quality is consistent. Trying random slices is exciting

Had a pizza craving and still haven't found a local pizza place up to par yet, but this place is darn good!! Love the old school feel. Looks like they do a lot with the local community youth sports teams and such. Super friendly staff, who really listen to what kind of pizza pie you are trying to create. Love the wings - ginger something.. I think.. omg DELICIOUS!! This place even offers a cider option for those dine in and chill experiences. Nice place to sit back and watch a game or two on the ol' entertainment box. Pizza and movie nights in the near future!

I almost forgot that the invitation included two complimentary entrées, which made the experience even better! I ordered the Salmon & Swai Combo Grilled Plate with rice, choosing both the Garlic Butter and Cajun Style seasonings. The fish was cooked perfectly--fresh, flaky, and well-seasoned. The rice was surprisingly flavorful, and the Cajun Style had just the right amount of spice without overpowering the fish. It paired wonderfully with both the salmon and swai. My wife ordered the Classic 2-Piece Battered Fish & Chips. She really enjoyed the fish, saying the batter was light, crispy, and not overly thick, allowing the fish to shine. The only downside for her was the fries, which weren't quite as memorable as the fish. The restaurant has a simple, clean, and inviting atmosphere with a spacious indoor dining area, plus outdoor seating if you prefer to dine outside. What stood out just as much as the food was the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Great customer service makes a big difference, and I hope they continue providing that same level of hospitality after the grand opening. Overall, we had a wonderful first experience. If you're looking for fresh, flavorful seafood at a reasonable price, California Fish Grill is definitely worth checking out. Welcome to Concord, and best wishes on your grand opening!

Chef Grace shared her knowledge freely and tailored her instruction to the cooking/experience level of each individual student. She perfectly timed the class so the Hong Kong-style egg tarts came out of the oven just as we finished enjoying our hand-made Dan Dan noodles and Hot&Sour soup. Chef Grace provided all the ingredients, her recipes, an apron to use during the class, her hospitality, and her home -- all adding up to a fun, delicious, and memorable experience. I look forward to teaching the recipes (that Chef Grace so kindly provided) to my kids today as part of our Mid-Autumn Festival. My only regret is Chef Grace is located in the Bay Area and I live in Florida. If you are looking for a fun evening cooking and eating delicious food, getting to know new people, and you live in or are visiting the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area, you cannot go wrong with learning to cook Chinese food with Chef Grace. However, I wasn't helped until 3:25 PM after trying to get someone's attention. There appeared to be only one server actively working while another staff member was walking around but not assisting customers. When I finally spoke to the busy server, I was brushed off and told it wasn't her section. After waiting several more minutes, she returned and said she didn't know how to handle to-go orders and was too busy with her 3 tables By the time someone finally helped me, it was around 3:34 PM, meaning my food had been sitting out for quite a while. When I expressed concern (especially since the meal contained dairy), I was told to "touch the bottom" and that it was still hot, which it was not. Another customer even confirmed it was not at a safe temperature/up to food regulation standards. At that point, the lady assisting me was annoyed and rudely said they'd remake it as she walked away , but after already waiting and being dismissed multiple times, I chose to leave without my food. Overall, this was a frustrating experience due to lack of service, poor communication, and food safety concerns. I hope management addresses this, as it reflects poorly on the restaurant.

The server repeated that multiple times while seating us and taking our orders and said how embarrassed she was about it, but didn't offer any alternatives. I ordered a truffle mac n cheese ($19.50) and added crispy prosciutto ($4). When it arrived....it just looked pathetic. Like the cheapest possible penne and cheese that you'd serve a toddler, and the prosciutto looked like lazily sliced ham. It reminded me of the basic macaroni and ham you'd find at the most casual HK cafes that should cost no more than $5. It was just a completely insult to be charged $23.50 for something like that. My husband ordered a Chianti Steak ($32) that was cooked properly at medium rare, but was obviously a poor quality cut of meat with lots of fat and tendon. The final slap in the face? They wouldn't accept our gift card. Apparently there were some changes from corporate this year where they no longer accept the type of gift card we had. There is absolutely no way we even would've considered coming here if it weren't for the gift card, and we ended having to pay full price for the biggest joke of a meal. The server also never checked up on us while we ate, and it took an excruciatingly long time for her to come back to us with the bill so we could leave. 0/10 would recommend and you're better off buying something from the frozen section at Walmart for dinner.
