First time ordering from here. It was easy to order online and the food was ready right on time. We got a combo and cheesy bread. Both very good I loved the garlic on the cheesy bread. The combo was really meaty. We'll be back for sure.

Yes, very good! Not Authentic Italian pizza great but good American pizza. With quality ingredients! Very tasty. I was greeted with a smile from a very nice owner/employee. He was helpful & friendly. Their restaurant is clean & welcoming. $20 for a small 3 ingredient stuffed crust pizza. It was yummy. Thing to note: no pork at this establishment.

I love deep dish pizza, with Zachary's in Berkeley being my usual go to. But I wanted to try somewhere closer to home and once I saw all the rave reviews about Pinole Pizza House's deep dish pizza, I had to give it a try! And boy, I'm sure glad I did! I ordered the house combo deep dish and OMG it was amazing!! Stuffed with delicious fresh ingredients, oozing with yummy melting cheese and just the right amount of tomato sauce - Perfecto!! It's funny bc my wife said that she likes it better than Zach's and I honestly can't disagree. Highly recommend!

Small cheese pizza $8.99 on thick crust

Daddy had a hair appointment so little one and I needed to pass time. Originally we planned on exploring Dollar Tree, but as we approach the store I saw a sign "(Pinole) Pizza House." I asked my little one if she wasted pizza and with a yes we headed there. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and hospitable. He was patient while we learned the menu and my little one decided what she wanted. A small cheese pizza ($8.99) with a thick crust ($?) and two drinks - a canned coco cola and a canned lychee sparking water - total came out to $20.44. We took a seat. The restaurant is small with seating of 4 at four tables and seating for two at one table. My daughter picked the table for two - farthest from the door and closest to the restroom. While we waited a napkin dispenser and seasoning packets were brought to our table along with two plates. The pizza arrived at our table fairly quickly - I estimated 15 min or so. The pizza was on a thick crust (as ordered) with a layer of cheese and tomato sauce peeking through the cheese. The thick crust was airy, crispy and soft. The cheese has a presence, it was salty and lightly spread across the pizza. The flavor of the tomato sauce is highlighted mostly. The cheese was not as prevalent as I would have liked, yet each bite was flavorful and enjoyed. Open Monday through Sunday 11am to 10pm, enjoy many selections. Their speciality selections on a small are $11.99. I was looking at their shrimp option and their margarita pizza. Since my daughter favors cheese, we started with this pizza to begin our introduction. Their speciality pizzas add not unique but they are diverse, hitting the flavor profile of many. I would try Pinole Pizza House again for a speciality option. I enjoyed their customer service and appreciate their hospitality.

July 18, 2025 2pm 4 stars We drove to Richmond months ago to Richmond Pizza House and had a good bite. I was happy to find out a sister branch opened closer to home in Pinole. We were greeted warmly as we entered by a young man in the kitchen looking busy at a task. I sat down and enjoyed friendly Italian style mood music as my wife chose our pie. At the counter, a medium Margherita pie with thin crispy crust and "add sausage please" was chosen from their extensive menu plus one coke. $30 Our pizza arrived in about 20 minutes. My wife reaches for a slice and the table wobbles. She spends the rest of the meal steadying the table with her foot. "Do you like it?" she asks. Those words always mean she doesn't like something and turns out she didn't like it. She thinks it tasted fine but was too expensive for its thinness. "If it was more like $23 it would be better." She says when asked. I defended the pizza as in my mind she got exactly what she ordered. It Was flavorful but pretty damn thin though for $30. The employees are very friendly and the service is #1. The store is small and clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back if I had the option to enjoy a beer there with my meal. The restroom is clean but didn't seem to have a way to lock the door from the inside. Maybe instructions need to be posted. I'll try to talk her into going back for a more substantial pizza.

First off, love the flavor combos and the sesame twist crust at this place! Placed the order for a couple of pizzas: -Half Pesto chicken, half combo with sesame twist -Vegan spicy broccoli olive with garlic twist -Lemon pepper wings The pizzas were pretty tasty but the wings were too salty- please lay off the seasoning, they were barely edible. Pizza was ready when I arrived and the workers were very nice. Inside had ample seating but nobody was around- most probably get takeout. I'd love to try the other pizza flavors and hope they dust off the salt from their wings!

Great little pizza spot by my house, not over priced and quality ingredients. The owners and the staff here are very welcoming and friendly. Great pizzas and great chicken wings. Will be a regular here.

Chicken Parm & Spinach Pizza with twisted sesame crust

Best pizza and customer service, hands down! We usually get the roasted garlic chicken but the chicken parm was delicious too. You can tell how much effort they put into each pizza because the toppings are always evenly placed rather than just thrown on. Also, the sesame crust is amazing! The owner is super welcoming and always friendly. So happy they opened this location, which is closer to where we live, because my husband and I used to frequent Richmond Pizza House. Even then, we wouldn't mind taking the drive to get the best pizza in the area!

We stopped in early on a Friday evening and were seated right away. The space has a great, casual vibe with plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor tables for nicer weather. Our server was friendly and checked in to see if we had any questions (we didn't), and we got drinks started right away--a local beer from Faction and a Black Basil cocktail. Both came out quickly and were solid. For food, I went with one of their signature pies--the All-Star deep dish. It's loaded with bacon, meatballs, sausage, pepperoni, and cheese... and it's massive. I always go for the 12" because it easily turns into 4-5 meals (no regrets there). My wife built her own gluten-free pizza with a thin crust and really enjoyed it. One thing I appreciated: even though deep dish takes longer to cook, both pizzas came out at the same time, which isn't always easy to do. They also offer a good variety of salads, starters, and sandwiches, which all sounded great--but I was here for the pizza. Overall, great service, excellent food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely a go-to spot for a casual pizza night.

I was in a mood for a sandwich and by brother-in-law suggested Little Star Pizza. He recommended the East Coast Sandwich (combination). My sister and brother-in-law ordered the East Coast Sandwich which they both loved. I ordered a Meatball sandwich which was pretty good. It tasted liked meatballs in a grilled garlic roll. The meatball is sliced so the sandwich is on the thin side. Overall, the nice gooey cheese, grilled garlic roll and meatball created a pretty good sandwich. They have a good menu with pizzas, sandwiches and salads. I plan to drop in again but will try the pizza and see if it is as good as the sandwiches. If you order take-out, you need to walk down the side of the building to the take-out sign and enter that door. The take-out counter is right inside the side door.

Last night, I…read morestopped in specifically hoping to try the eggplant pizza, but unfortunately they were sold out. Since the only other pie I'd previously had there was the brown butter sage -- delicious, though I've learned lemon on pizza simply isn't my thing -- I decided to go with their classic Benchmark margherita instead. It absolutely delivered. This is Neo-Neapolitan pizza done right: bright, fresh tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, torn basil, and a beautifully balanced crust with a perfectly thin base, nicely charred underside, and those airy, leopard-spotted edges that make wood-fired pizza so satisfying. Simple, restrained, and incredibly well executed. It was an unusually warm evening, so I opted to sit outside. My only real complaint is that the tables closest to the street sit noticeably on a slant, making it a bit of a challenge to keep plates and glasses from slowly sliding downhill throughout the meal. A small detail, but worth noting. That said, the staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming, and the overall experience was exactly what I was hoping for. One final recommendation: do yourself a favor and ask for a side of olive oil for dipping the crusts. It's the perfect finishing touch. I'll absolutely be back the next time the craving strikes.

Fried sage pizza with a chopped salad is a family favorite. Add a choc chip sea salted cookie for dessert. The dine-in experience is great: outdoor seating with a nice view that goes great with a beer or cocktail on a sunny afternoon. The waitstaff are friendly and skilled. The takeout experience is mostly good, but a few things could be better. I'd like the option to remove onions from my takeout pizza. And: Lately the chopped salad has been presented in a plastic takeout box with the ingredients separated into other plastic containers. This leaves the customer to basically create the salad from the ingredients, then deal with a bunch of plastic waste. Better to go back to the old method: compostable box with the ingredients tossed by Benchmark, giving the customer the option to have Benchmark toss the dressing or do it themselves. When I order an expensive salad, I expect a salad, not a collection of separate ingredients for me to mix myself. And the plastic detracts from the experience and adds waste to the environment.

The pizza was rolled very thin, but there was almost zero rise in the crust at all: the crust was dense and not airy. If I were to guess, the pizza dough had probably been sitting out for far too long, leading to the dough being way over-proofed. The cubes of lamb topping the pizza had a strange sourness to it and were incredibly dry. Similarly, the wings were also overcooked and very dry, and didn't really have much flavor to them at all. At $33.99 for an X-Large pizza (before tax and tip), you might as well head over to June's pizza in West Oakland to get a pizza for the same price.
