I really like the pizza here, especially the Garlic Veggie! It's a fantastic pizza with a great crust and what seems to be really good-quality ingredients. I remember back in the day when the pizza came with that special sesame crust. I believe they've since made it a separate option, probably so customers can choose different crusts and perhaps charge a little extra for specialty options. Either way, the pizza is still delicious! We used to visit the Richmond location, but since moving to Pinole, this location is much closer and more convenient for us. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the owners. They're genuinely nice gentlemen who are always friendly and take the time to talk to their customers. They even remember your name! That's something I really appreciate. There's a big difference between walking into a chain pizza restaurant where you're just another order number and visiting a local pizza shop where the owners actually know who you are. That personal touch makes the entire experience so much better. Great pizza, quality ingredients, reasonable convenience, and genuinely friendly owners. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend this place, especially if you haven't tried their Garlic Veggie pizza! read more

A halal pizza spot worth trying! During hot days, I wouldn't recommend dining in because the restaurant was uncomfortably hot inside & sun radiants a lot inside with no shades on the windows. I love deep dish pizza, with Zachary's in Berkeley being my usual go to. But I wanted to try somewhere closer to home and once I saw all the rave reviews about Pinole Pizza House's deep dish pizza, I had to give it a try! And boy, I'm sure glad I did! I ordered the house combo deep dish and OMG it was amazing!! Stuffed with delicious fresh ingredients, oozing with yummy melting cheese and just the right amount of tomato sauce - Perfecto!! Daddy had a hair appointment so little one and I needed to pass time. Originally we planned on exploring Dollar Tree, but as we approach the store I saw a sign "(Pinole) Pizza House." I asked my little one if she wasted pizza and with a yes we headed there. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and hospitable. He was patient while we learned the menu and my little one decided what she wanted. A small cheese pizza ($8.99) with a thick crust ($?) and two drinks - a canned coco cola and a canned lychee sparking water - total came out to $20.44. We took a seat. The restaurant is small with seating of 4 at four tables and seating for two at one table. My daughter picked the table for two - farthest from the door and closest to the restroom. While we waited a napkin dispenser and seasoning packets were brought to our table along with two plates. The pizza arrived at our table fairly quickly - I estimated 15 min or so. The pizza was on a thick crust (as ordered) with a layer of cheese and tomato sauce peeking through the cheese. The thick crust was airy, crispy and soft. The cheese has a presence, it was salty and lightly spread across the pizza. The flavor of the tomato sauce is highlighted mostly. The cheese was not as prevalent as I would have liked, yet each bite was flavorful and enjoyed. Open Monday through Sunday 11am to 10pm, enjoy many selections. Their speciality selections on a small are $11.99. I was looking at their shrimp option and their margarita pizza. Since my daughter favors cheese, we started with this pizza to begin our introduction. Their speciality pizzas add not unique but they are diverse, hitting the flavor profile of many. Pictures online looked good so we gave it a shot. Order the sweet and spicy and the chicken pesto. Sweet and spicy pizza was dry over cooked and looks like it was an old re-heated counter display. Not good at all. Chicken pesto pizza also dry and needs to be called mushroom pizza with some chicken crumbs. It was covered in cheese and mushrooms. July 18, 2025 2pm 4 stars We drove to Richmond months ago to Richmond Pizza House and had a good bite. I was happy to find out a sister branch opened closer to home in Pinole. We were greeted warmly as we entered by a young man in the kitchen looking busy at a task. I sat down and enjoyed friendly Italian style mood music as my wife chose our pie. At the counter, a medium Margherita pie with thin crispy crust and "add sausage please" was chosen from their extensive menu plus one coke. $30 Our pizza arrived in about 20 minutes. My wife reaches for a slice and the table wobbles. She spends the rest of the meal steadying the table with her foot. "Do you like it?" she asks. Those words always mean she doesn't like something and turns out she didn't like it. She thinks it tasted fine but was too expensive for its thinness. "If it was more like $23 it would be better." She says when asked. I defended the pizza as in my mind she got exactly what she ordered. It Was flavorful but pretty damn thin though for $30. The employees are very friendly and the service is #1. The store is small and clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back if I had the option to enjoy a beer there with my meal. The restroom is clean but didn't seem to have a way to lock the door from the inside. Maybe instructions need to be posted. I'll try to talk her into going back for a more substantial pizza. read more

First off, love the flavor combos and the sesame twist crust at this place! Placed the order for a couple of pizzas: -Half Pesto chicken, half combo with sesame twist -Vegan spicy broccoli olive with garlic twist -Lemon pepper wings The pizzas were pretty tasty but the wings were too salty- please lay off the seasoning, they were barely edible. Pizza was ready when I arrived and the workers were very nice. Inside had ample seating but nobody was around- most probably get takeout. I'd love to try the other pizza flavors and hope they dust off the salt from their wings! read more

It's been such a long time since I've had a good, non-chain restaurant pizza. I saw this girl on tik tok rave about this pizza and decided I needed to give it a try, and I am so glad I did. The pizza was delicious. The ingredients were fresh, and I hear they get their flour from Italy (although I have not verified that). I would easily have given this spot 5 stars, but they 1. forget to add one of the toppings I request to my pizza, and 2. I ordered some mozzarella sticks and those left a bit to be desired (tasted like funnel cake batter - maybe they cook their churros in the same oil?). I can't wait though to come back as it really was one of the best pizzas I've had in a lonnnnng time. You can also order online and pickup quickly, and there's plenty of parking in the little strip mall. The guy working there was friendly and got my stuff quickly. J wanted to give this spot 5 stars but the bread sticks were delivered burnt. Having said that the bread is super light and fluffy. I imagine they are amazing if baked correctly. But I'll never no because I'm not going to spend 10 bucks on them again. As for the pizza it is delicious. We got the sweet corn pizza (with bacon added) on sesame crust and the Jay special with mushrooms and garlic crust. Ya'll you can tell they spend time constructing the pizza. I saw this place on Tik Tok, & so many people were saying many great things about it. I told my boyfriend let's go here to try it out, so while we were running errands, I gave this place a call & asked what would be the wait time for 1 (10 inch) margarita pizza, & it was about a 15 minute wait, which I loved because I was already so hungry & didn't feel like cooking. When I called, they were very nice, friendly, answered all my questions. Anyways, once we got the pizza, & I took that first bite, it was a moment of "heaven on earth" because of the flavors. It's so hard to find a pizza spot that doesn't have a dough that is so dry, but this pizza had the softest dough ever. It was like biting into a warm cloud omg. Unfortunately I was not impressed. We came here on a Tuesday night 22Apr2025 at 0830pm to dine in but we were told we cant because they are closing (thought i closing was 10pm). We ordered large Meat Lover's Pizza with original crust. my compliant is it felt like I ordered cheese pizza than a meat pizza. It's like 1-2pieces of sausages in each slice. I don't think I even saw regular bacon. I saw pepperoni and Canadian bacon but so spread out like one layer. With regards to type of crust, I'm not sure I saw anything that clearly indicates there is a fee if you choose crust other than original, but if you order through Door Dash, there is a fee for that. Not sure if this is also true if you order in the restaurant, I didn't ask. Oh also note they charge you for all sauces on the side. I ordered ranch but I knew they charge because I saw it from Door Dash. The lady didn't say anything until I asked her. I wanted to order 20pc chicken wings but I was told there is no more. The cashier looked back at her male colleague then informed me there is no more chicken wings. The place is casual and clean. Parking is free. Best pizza and customer service, hands down! We usually get the roasted garlic chicken but the chicken parm was delicious too. You can tell how much effort they put into each pizza because the toppings are always evenly placed rather than just thrown on. Also, the sesame crust is amazing! The owner is super welcoming and always friendly. So happy they opened this location, which is closer to where we live, because my husband and I used to frequent Richmond Pizza House.
