What a surprising service! It's been awhile since Ive been to Wingstop in Pinole. But the last time I was here the service was slow and the store looked cluttered. However in this particular Saturday night, I dropped in for a takeout order without ordering ahead of time online. I ordered a 10 pieces bone-in wings. Expecting to be a long wait , I sat down on this clean store and started looking at my phone. But, wow, within 10-15 minutes my name was called! My biggest problem other than the wait was the wings were freezer-burnt and had white patches on the outer skin. The lemon pepper flavor was lacking and nonexistent. My time is valuable and should not be spent waiting longer than expected, especially for wings. Their online ordering should maybe be optimized for real time timing instead of estimates--that may help as well. I would have been better off driving to a location a few exists further and get it there and I'd be home already enjoying my meal. There's no excuse for chicken mismanagement. Something needs to be done. Every table is full of people just sitting down waiting for their order. They should also at least announce names and the estimated time longer to wait, or have one of their TVs show each order and which ones they're working on. Something, anything! I don't know how much this is saying, but I place it way above the Oakland and Emeryville Wingstop establishments I've visited (which are almost all of them).
