Posole has arrived. Just in time for this cold weather. Ordered to go! They give you a lot for the price; with chips, radish and cabbage, limes and hot chili oil (if you like it spicy). The flavor is good, tons of meat but far too many bones and not enough hominy. The crunchy taco shells have changed- for the better. Bigger and crispier. Ordered 2 chicken tacos (not pictured). Service and ambience are always good. Parking is a little congested, but be patient - it's worth it.

I love dinning inside Que Onda tacobar My excuse of dinning there is because of the great food that is served. This location does special for $10 daily for different food Burrito Monday Taco Tuesday Enchilada Wednesday Taco Thursday Torta Friday Good Food Great Service This place has a regular

Asada with grilled veggies, cojita cheese, mango salsa, onions, cilantro and Serrano aolii; cilantro rice and refried beans.

Thanks for the great birthday lunch! I bought a Groupon and enjoyed the meal. I wish the esquite were crisp, but the flavor was there. The tacos de costa with the grilled veggies added were wonderful, we had both asada and chicken pastor; the homemade tortillas steal the show. The birria tacos definitely need more flavor. And, the fried plantain for dessert were nice and the orchid for decoration was pretty. I will be back ...

I recently tried this Mexican restaurant since it's so convenient that is so close to home. The service is good, they are so polite and are sure to ask how and what you want on your food. The restaurant looks clean and has good lighting. I like that the taco bar looks fresh and clean. The portions are generous in my opinion. I'm glad they offer a variety of options and the quality of the meat/chicken is great. I downloaded the app to order, and they were quick to make the food. They offered a $10 gift gift card to redeem within the first 7 days, so I'll definitely be going back lol. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick pick-up meal or to dine in and eat. Everyone there has been really nice, I look forward to going back more often. Thanks TacoBar, got yourself a new customer!

    Al pastor burrito

My husband brought me a burrito from here and this is how I asked him to order it for me. Burrito alpastor Rice Refried beans Sour cream Pico de gallo Guacamole Salsa roja "First bite, I hit a huge glob of refried beans. I tried to work around it by cutting it open and scooping some out, but the burrito was honestly inedible. There was so much grease that it was even all over the rice. Just looking at it made me lose my appetite, and I couldn't bring myself to eat it. Unfortunately, it ended up going in the trash." My suggestion if you dnt mind eating heavy oily greasy food order this here but if not. Order else where.

Steak plate my boyfriend has not gotten off bathroom And I got the enchiladas plate with birria meat, corn and beans and feel super sick.

I had a very disappointing experience last night. My boyfriend and I came in near closing time because we didn't realize they were about to close -- we had been out all night and were exhausted. The woman taking our order was extremely rude and unwelcoming. The only positive part of the experience was the kind lady at the register who checked me out. Unfortunately, it got worse when we got home. I found hair in my food, and my boyfriend couldn't even eat his steak plate because it tasted like it had been sitting under eggs all day. It was completely unappetizing. To make matters worse, we left an extra $8 tip, only to come home to hair in the food and a meal that seemed spoiled. Very disappointing overall.

That's a small two pieces of bone

Food: was great but my burrito had bones in them, which caused tooth issue for me Service: was good first time coming here Ambiance: really nice

We came here for food after a hike. The food was pretty good. There was a large order that came in ahead of us. The way the workers were organized, it was hard for me to manage paying for all the different people in our party and the workers got upset with me it seemed. I couldn't explain in Spanish what I was trying to do, so um... the worker made me feel a little uncomfortable and I just said "Yes" to whatever she said which apparently conflicted with something, because she ended up just setting a tray of food down angrily which in my culture is very upsetting. At one point they were lacking some meat even though I paid for it and then all of a sudden it was available, maybe they just gave me random meat, I have no idea and at that point I didn't really care, because I was so stressed out. So I would order here, but online so I can avoid interacting with the workers. Otherwise, the food is very good. The different flavored horchatas were just OK though, mostly just sugary so I wouldn't order that again.

First time here and I loved the ground beef burrito bowl that I had. Very flavorful and packed full with any custom additions. I had a mango juice as well and it was delish!

Came on a Friday at 2 PM, and the place was mostly empty. Ordered at the counter, service was prompt and helpful. They make your food in front of you and have a huge selection of toppings and vegetables, so you can customize. My boyfriend got 3 tacos, which comes with little cups of rice and beans but no chips. I got a California burrito. The menu says you can choose from chicken or steak, but I was able to get carnitas with no issue. I think they treat all meats as interchangeable except for lengua and seafood, which have an upcharge. The meat portions for the tacos are very generous, but unfortunately the meats weren't well-seasoned. My boyfriend liked the carne asada best, but felt the chicken was chopped too small and thus got too dry. The al pastor pork was too sweet for his taste, but others may prefer that. My burrito was decent, I liked that the fries were freshly fried, which made a welcome crispy contrast to the meat. The carnitas was plentiful, but again, not super flavorful. The addition of corn was unique, but I couldn't pick out any individual flavors from the Serrano aioli or "secret sauce." All in all, service, prices, and portions were on point. We might come again to try different meats.

But when they are charging extra for stuff which is already in the ingredients... we'll u gotta stop and pause. I've frequent this taqueria a hand full of times and it's the closest mission style taqueria up here in pinole. It's always good service, tasty dishes with decent prices. That's why us humans go back. BUT when u charge extra for a certain type of proteins, there's room for questioning. So I ordered super nachos with carne asada as my meat and a small bottle coke. The total amount came to $24.40, I was surprised. I looked closer to the receipt and it was an extra $2.00 for the asada. Please just add it on the price or put it on the menu "extra for Carne Asada" so we don't get a little receipt shock. $25 dollars for super nachos and a small bottle of coke. The wet super burrito is massive and mine was packed with carnitas, pinto beans and all the fixings. On their board menu it said "super wet burrito", so that confused me for a second. Lol. The nachos order is big too though I might ask for yellow cheese and pinto beans next time instead of shredded cheese and refried beans. I like their blend of horchata too. It was slow and not crowded for a Sunday after 6 pm. I filled some of the tiny round containers with sauces, limes, and marinated veggies while waiting for my to go order. There's a service charge for credit card payments. Normal for some places now.

Since I had time, I walked down to the show, check out the cars and the band, and gave Hella Bomb a try, despite not being particularly hungry. I ordered one street taco--cilantro lime chicken. I mentioned it was my first time eating their food, and I'd heard they were, in fact, Hella Bomb, and the server said they were! And that she wasn't just saying that because it was her brother's business! The taco came with a lime wedge, some radish slices, and chips. Served on two small corn tortillas with a generous helping of chicken topped with green salsa. Oh, and a VERY HOT (for me) grilled pepper. Looked like that pepper could have been a mild shishito pepper, but since I wasn't sure and I can't do spicy like I used too, I took a tiny bite. Not a shishido! So beware if you can't handle a bit of heat! Not expecting too much with my first bite of the taco, I was actually quite surprised! I'm sure my eyes opened a bit wider with the happy flavors rolling through my mouth! It was delicious! Moist, tender chicken with a tasty marinade--wish I were hungrier so I could eat another! Since the taco was so stuffed with meat, I loved the side of chips to scoop up the bits of chicken that fell out with each bite! Yes, I will have Hella Bomb again! My W will love those tacos, too!

Though this spot is known for their chicken, I didn't really experience anything unique about this wrapped meal.
