This is a two star review. I came here at the recommendation of a co-worker and want to like it…read moremore than I did. I think the problem is that I couldn't get past the lack of a restroom in the area. They had some portables, but they are making food and we are supposed to eat it. Where are they washing their hands? This area is also pretty cold so if you go, make sure that you have a coat, scarf and hat. I'll never make that mistake again. But because of the cold, I didn't want to eat outside so our food got a cold, but it was good. My husband liked the food he got, but gluten free options are super limited. They get a third star because of the bar! Now there was only one person working there and that's fine because he could go get a snack or something and come back to pour drinks, but again. The restroom issue. Where does he wash his hands, what if he has a cold and sneezes into them, and so on. That's where my mind went. The vendors are quite nice and were helpful and weren't mean when they answered my GF questions and I appreciate that. So, this is like the little engine that could. I can see that it is a gathering spot for people and they have music and speakers which is cool. So I saw and felt a community vibe and people really seemed to like going. If I lived in the area, I may try it a bit more, but in all honestly, Oakland Museum's Off the Grid event is everything I wish this was. I'm sure that they will get there, but don't want to hang out while they figure it out.

I'm not sure if the selection changes as I only went once, but the selection was smaller than I…read moreexpected and there wasn't that many people there.

I've have followed Anup before his Food Truck business came about and learned how to make C momos…read morefrom his Youtube videos after returning from Nepal. It's taken me a minute to get here and was pleasantly suprised. It's essentials a lot with some parking ample space to sit and eat and there is another food stall as well as the Momo food truck, which only serves momo. If you want to try other Nepali dishes go over to the food stand his brother runs. I ordered my C- Chicken Momo, which is made fresh because they give you a little vibrating tag which lets you know when it is ready. I also got some buff (as in water buffalo) skewura (skewers) I had my pupster with me, so it's a dog friend place cuz it's outdoor seating, so I took it home. Oh my the c- momos was so good (they ask you spice level) I took mine to Nepali medium, the buff skewurs were so good and served on puffed rice with slices of cumber and a hot sauce. I definitely will be back, because they have a Newari dish called Barra, which I will be getting. The Nepali people are very nice as well. So if you have spent time in Nepal and missing the food, try this place.

Located next to the Peppermint Tree Plaza, MOMOlicious offers authentic Nepali bites in casual fashion. I appreciated the menu explaining what a mo mo is, the type of fillings offered, and different mo mo menu options. We ordered the Ultimate Jhol Mo:mo (steamed momo) served in a classic soup made from sesame seeds, tomato, cilantro, and soybean. We chose chicken. We also ordered the Nepali Chowmein with chicken as well. Loved the unique flavors, the textures, and exploration of this culinary cuisine. The owner came over and chatted with us about the menu and future of the space. Earlier in the day they brought mini ponies for the kiddos to ride! Very much looking forward to bringing our friends back here as the weather is getting better for corn hole and outdoor entertainment. Also looking forward to exploring more of the menu, meats, and other mo mo options (maybe the crispy version next time) and mango lassi. You can really feel the love made in the food here and excitement for what's to come ~ congratulations on your new opening in EC!

The wet super burrito is massive and mine was packed with carnitas, pinto beans and all the fixings. On their board menu it said "super wet burrito", so that confused me for a second. Lol. The nachos order is big too though I might ask for yellow cheese and pinto beans next time instead of shredded cheese and refried beans. I like their blend of horchata too. It was slow and not crowded for a Sunday after 6 pm. I filled some of the tiny round containers with sauces, limes, and marinated veggies while waiting for my to go order. There's a service charge for credit card payments. Normal for some places now.

But when they are charging extra for stuff which is already in the ingredients... we'll u gotta stop and pause. I've frequent this taqueria a hand full of times and it's the closest mission style taqueria up here in pinole. It's always good service, tasty dishes with decent prices. That's why us humans go back. BUT when u charge extra for a certain type of proteins, there's room for questioning. So I ordered super nachos with carne asada as my meat and a small bottle coke. The total amount came to $24.40, I was surprised. I looked closer to the receipt and it was an extra $2.00 for the asada. Please just add it on the price or put it on the menu "extra for Carne Asada" so we don't get a little receipt shock. $25 dollars for super nachos and a small bottle of coke. Just saying "I won't be back anytime soon. Just wanna thank the trump voter's for the tariff's which makes everything more expensive. Great job.... NOT!!!
