    Carne asada tacos

Whenever I crave some street tacos close by, I come to this truck. Tucked off the the corner with a few parking spots shared with what used to be a burger joint. The line get pretty long when it's lunch time but they're pretty quick for the most part. The prices are reasonable and it's good. The radishes on my taco plate was a little old today and they're not too consistent when it comes to the fixings, e.g. radishes, pickled carrots/jalapeños, and grilled onions. The grilled onion is fire. I prefer when they put grilled serrano chili peppers instead of pickled jalapeños, but that's just my preference.

I ordered a regular burrito of tripas (which costs $10) because of thr type of meat. What I got was a bunch of super greasy rice and not that much meat of beans. I bought 4 burritos so I wasted $40 on this crap.

     hand holding a hamburger

The Hamburgers are nasty all it has is lettuce and the meat and they sold it to me for $20 and its raw and the guy thats doing them is on his phone thats why he doesnt cook them right

Cabeza (cheek meat) burrito 8/10 The rice was a mess, it got everywhere, could deal without it

I'm from Southern California so my Mexican food standards are pretty high. I came here on a Friday afternoon, where the place where I was originally going to go to looked too suspicious, so I saw this place instead because it was right in the corner. I heard about the taco trucks in the Bay Area, where people told me they're "hella good and hella authentic" plus the taco trucks here in the Bay are even referenced in rap music, so it must be good right? It definitely is. The food here at this specific taco truck is as good as the Mexican food in SoCal. I was very pleased with the menu, to the drinks, to even the feel that the taco truck had, it was "hella authentic" as the locals would say. The menu offered meats that I would only find in SoCal from the buche (pork stomach) to the cabeza (cheek meat) so I was pretty excited when I was able to come across that. I ordered: One cabeza super burrito $7.50, extra .50 cent charge for cards (it's super because it comes with sour cream and cheese) The burrito was magnificent, from the grilled tortilla which gave it a slight crunch to the dripping, oily meat which got all over my shorts, this burrito is well worth it and a bag of chips; (it came with complimentary chips and salsa). The burrito also came with complimentary grilled veggies (pepper, onion and radishes) so for 7 dollars you get 2 side orders and an entree. What took me by surprise and why I am so "juiced" about this place is the meat. The cabeza was so juicy, greasy, and tender that I needed a towel to clean myself after. I recommend to not get the rice it just got all over the place and it was so unnecessary. (I am usually not used to rice in my burrito.) I found my Mexican food gem here in San Pablo, I has taken me 3 years of living here in the Bay Area to find the next best Mexican food to SoCal.4 stars cause of the rice, I'm sure next time it will be easily 5 stars the time I order it without the rice.

A good taco truck in a small part of Richmond that isn't close to many good restaurants. The truck looks like it has been recently renovated. They are most commonly located in the parking lot of food barn, though there have been somedays I have not seen them there. The burritos here are cheap; $5.50 for a regular and $6 for a super, which includes sour cream and cheese. The meat, rice and beans seem to be fresh and of good quality, perhaps not as good as Flor de Jalisco, but a better price. One thing I love about this taco truck is you get every side you could possibly want with your order without having to ask: fresh grilled onion, jalapeño, radishes, 2 kinds of salsa, and chips, something I have never seen at other trucks. A good quick, cheap and tasty bite!

Tripas tacos were authentic and made to order. "Crunchy" the sides were good as well.

The menu offers a good variety of Mexican inspired dishes, from tacos and birria ramen and burritos. Everything we tried had great flavor and was clearly made fresh. The sauces, seasoning and overall balance of the dishes were definitely the highlight of the meal. We ordered quite a few items including quesabirria, shrimp tacos, a burrito and birria ramen. The shrimp tacos were especially flavorful, topped with a creamy sauce that paired really well with the shrimp. The quesabirria tacos also had that nice crispy texture with the rich birria flavor that people look for. The restaurant itself is clean, organized and well set up, with outdoor seating available which is nice on a sunny day. It has a relaxed vibe where you can sit down with friends and enjoy your food without feeling rushed. The only thing I noticed across several of the dishes was that the portions of meat felt a little light compared to the tortilla or toppings. The flavor is absolutely there, but a slightly more generous portion of meat would make these dishes even better. Overall, solid spot with great flavor and a fun menu. With just a little more generosity on the protein portions, this place could easily be a standout taco spot.

The waiter was too funny , his joking making us laugh out loud. As we cleaned our plates entirely he joked whether we wanted to lick them. We did want to. The food was that good. On a Monday afternoon it wasn't too loud, but the Mexican music added just the right touch to the ambience and our waiter's kind encouragement of a little girl's learning Spanish felt very Mexican. My friend was delighted with her shrimp enchiladas. The vegetables were al dente and of superior quality and taste too. The rice wads fluffy with each grain discreet. The pinto beans tasted great. The chocolate cake was so fresh, rich, and decadent we almost couldn't believe it with chocolate syrup on the plate to deepen the chocolate flavor when several layers of iced cake was dragged through it. The food is not cheap and it tastes superb. Each dish deserves to be savored in its perfection. Even the water served very cold with a lemon wedge tasted extremely good. If you want a special experience of exceptionally good food, with equally exceptional service, go to Agave Azul. It's worth every penny and more.

The place is nicely decorated and had about 1 or 2 customers already. 2 dishes came out at the same time while the other 3 came to the table a few minutes later. The food was ok. My parents got the Mi Casa Desayuno. The waitress told my dad they were out of the fruit salad, which was weird, since the place had just opened. I guess they never had fruit in the first place. My brother choked on a large piece of plastic in his Tres Leches French Toast. I told one of the male staff members there was plastic in his dish, and he just said, "Sorry, it was probably the plastic from the bread's packaging," and then walked away. A few minutes later, I saw the waitress and pulled her aside to discreetly tell her there was plastic in my brother's meal. She told me she wanted to see it ( kind of with a tone of 'I don't believe you'), and I brought her over to the dish to show her. She didn't say anything, so I said we would happily pay for the other dishes, but could my brother's meal be comped for the choking hazard? The waitress turned and went to the kitchen, to, I guess, talk to someone about it. The waitress came back out, took the dish away, probably to show whoever was in the kitchen. A while later, she came back out with the check, but did not bother to explain to us what the plan was from there. We did see a 50% markdown on my brother's dish. It was really awkward because the waitress did not have a very pleasant or inviting attitude; she stood there glaring as we reviewed the bill and figured out the payment method. There was a serious lack of communication (not due to a language barrier; we are a Spanish-speaking family) and an unnecessary, blasé and mean demeanor from the waitress on Mother's Day.
