    3 elite quesabirrias
    Darwin P.

the quesabirrias here are mind blowing! i stumbled across this vivid-color taco truck in Richmond, and i decided to try out their Quesabirrias,. these are some quesabirrias to come back for. the cheese pull, the seasoned birria, and its consomé on the side was so delicious. the 3 quesabirrias were gone after some bites, and i was pleasantly surprised with how great they were i love supporting local businesses, especially our hispanic taco trucks that work everyday to deliver elite food and tastes from different cultures that spread taste and love through their dishes. service and ambiance are great and attentive. plz give this taco truck a try!

The first time I visited this food truck I was very happy with my meal. This would've been in 2019 off a recommendation from a coworker. I had a shrimp burrito. My husband had a steak burrito and then we ordered the kids steak burritos. The food was great but the salsa was better. Since then, I've been back a few times and had a burrito but more lately when I go there there's nothing on the menu I really want. They don't always have seafood so that limits the protein I can really get from this location however it's so close to my husband's job that he often goes there. Thursday afternoon we went by there and I still love the salsa and chips but they do charge for them. My husband got a burrito and my daughter got a chicken burrito. My daughter enjoyed her burrito thoroughly but my husband felt like his super burrito was the same size as my daughter's regular burrito-that was the biggest complaint. Otherwise it's still delicious salsa and I would go back for it!

One of the best burritos I've had! Huge portion size, juicy, and they don't skimp on the sour cream and cheese! Definitely made it to my go-to for burritos in the area! I ordered the burrito through DoorDash and I think it came from the restaurant on 710 23rd st. The tacos for me, were dry. I've had the burrito and tacos on separate occasions. I've ordered the tacos in person at the truck late at night. Maybe the truck and the restaurant differ?

Stopped by La Flor De Jalisco today for lunch. Grabbed a few tacos to share with my brothers. The food was very good. Meat was seasoned to perfection and was very flavorful. The strawberry agua fresca was pretty good. A nice change from ordering Jamaica or horchata LOL. The tacos are $3.60 for one. Agua Fresca was $4.25 Included a pic of what I ordered and other menu items so you could have an idea of pricing and what not. Happy holidays y'all! :)

So what came here last year for lunch because it was close to the location I was working at. I ordered the lengua tacos as usual. Off top I noticed the flavor was different I don't recall it tasting like just bay leaf. So they were on, the portions are good. My tortillas were soggy due to the juice of the meat. The service was ok till the lady tried to charge me for lemon and salsas, saying it cost extra for extra salsas. Told her I never received any then she rudely tossed them in my Togo bag. Not sure if she's a new worker or not.

They didn't put no beans in my burrito or sour cream very little dry as burrito

They didn't put no beans. Sour cream on my super burrito just rise. Very dry burrito.

Hadn't been here in years so I decided to give it another try for their well known tacos! Coming in as a pickup order I went straight to the window and was served immediately by one of the workers who greeted me and asked me to repeat my order to make sure it was mine. It wasn't such amazing service but it's understandable since I had done a pickup order instead of ordering on site. In terms of ambiance, it's a pretty cozy spot located near a busy street with semi limited parking depending on time of day but still very calm. Now for the food, I was honestly surprised. I had heard mixed reviews about them recently saying their food isn't the same quality as It used to be but in my opinion the tacos were still very good. I had ordered 4 tacos de asada with everything and I Ate them very quickly with my only complaint being how some pieces of meat had a lot of fat and nerve attached to them which made me have to take some pieces of meat off but other than that they were good. Because of that I would rate these tacos a solid 8/10 because having all those pieces of fat and nerve do make the actual meat serving smaller but other than that I really enjoyed the tacos.

The menu offers a good variety of Mexican inspired dishes, from tacos and birria ramen and burritos. Everything we tried had great flavor and was clearly made fresh. The sauces, seasoning and overall balance of the dishes were definitely the highlight of the meal. We ordered quite a few items including quesabirria, shrimp tacos, a burrito and birria ramen. The shrimp tacos were especially flavorful, topped with a creamy sauce that paired really well with the shrimp. The quesabirria tacos also had that nice crispy texture with the rich birria flavor that people look for. The restaurant itself is clean, organized and well set up, with outdoor seating available which is nice on a sunny day. It has a relaxed vibe where you can sit down with friends and enjoy your food without feeling rushed. The only thing I noticed across several of the dishes was that the portions of meat felt a little light compared to the tortilla or toppings. The flavor is absolutely there, but a slightly more generous portion of meat would make these dishes even better. Overall, solid spot with great flavor and a fun menu. With just a little more generosity on the protein portions, this place could easily be a standout taco spot.

The waiter was too funny , his joking making us laugh out loud. As we cleaned our plates entirely he joked whether we wanted to lick them. We did want to. The food was that good. On a Monday afternoon it wasn't too loud, but the Mexican music added just the right touch to the ambience and our waiter's kind encouragement of a little girl's learning Spanish felt very Mexican. My friend was delighted with her shrimp enchiladas. The vegetables were al dente and of superior quality and taste too. The rice wads fluffy with each grain discreet. The pinto beans tasted great. The chocolate cake was so fresh, rich, and decadent we almost couldn't believe it with chocolate syrup on the plate to deepen the chocolate flavor when several layers of iced cake was dragged through it. The food is not cheap and it tastes superb. Each dish deserves to be savored in its perfection. Even the water served very cold with a lemon wedge tasted extremely good. If you want a special experience of exceptionally good food, with equally exceptional service, go to Agave Azul. It's worth every penny and more.

The place is nicely decorated and had about 1 or 2 customers already. 2 dishes came out at the same time while the other 3 came to the table a few minutes later. The food was ok. My parents got the Mi Casa Desayuno. The waitress told my dad they were out of the fruit salad, which was weird, since the place had just opened. I guess they never had fruit in the first place. My brother choked on a large piece of plastic in his Tres Leches French Toast. I told one of the male staff members there was plastic in his dish, and he just said, "Sorry, it was probably the plastic from the bread's packaging," and then walked away. A few minutes later, I saw the waitress and pulled her aside to discreetly tell her there was plastic in my brother's meal. She told me she wanted to see it ( kind of with a tone of 'I don't believe you'), and I brought her over to the dish to show her. She didn't say anything, so I said we would happily pay for the other dishes, but could my brother's meal be comped for the choking hazard? The waitress turned and went to the kitchen, to, I guess, talk to someone about it. The waitress came back out, took the dish away, probably to show whoever was in the kitchen. A while later, she came back out with the check, but did not bother to explain to us what the plan was from there. We did see a 50% markdown on my brother's dish. It was really awkward because the waitress did not have a very pleasant or inviting attitude; she stood there glaring as we reviewed the bill and figured out the payment method. There was a serious lack of communication (not due to a language barrier; we are a Spanish-speaking family) and an unnecessary, blasé and mean demeanor from the waitress on Mother's Day.
