My go-to spot for burritos! I've tried a few of their protein options now and I always go back to the carne asada. Al pastor and chicken are also good choices, but would skip the chorizo. The hot and green salsas are my favorite and also like the chips that come alongside the burritos!

My wife was craving a burrito for dinner and I have had this spot bookmarked for awhile. It did not disappoint. The burritos were big and flavorful. We both got adobada (al pastor) with pineapple and crispy cheese. Mine was a super burrito and my wife got the San Diego style. They were both delicious. Their salsas were tasty and their curtido was extremely fresh. We are fat kids at heart and also tried carne asada and grilled chicken tacos which I liked, but my wife found a bit dry. The restaurant has no indoor seating, but the patio has heat lamps which made it slightly more inviting even though it was fairly dark. The service was extremely friendly and fast. I think this is our new favorite taqueria in the east bay. We will be back.

Super burrito with shrimp (grilled in butter)

The location's not the best, but the restaurant itself is inviting. There's limited parking in their teeny lot (I had to park on the street this past Sunday) and minimal seating for dining in. Only outdoor tables and counter seats are available, but the patio is covered. Service was fast, friendly, and professional, and my order was ready in no more than 10 minutes. Got the super burrito with shrimp and refried beans minus the guac, grilled in butter (no extra cost). It was so yummy, large in size and generously filled with tasty ingredients. The shrimp juicy and flavorful, the veggies fresh, even the superior quality of the beans noticeable, not to mention the sauce which goes so well with the shrimp, delish! This establishment delivers on a great product and service, and puts effort into providing a positive experience for guests. So despite the parking shortage and less than desirable location, I still gave 5 stars.

OMG! The food was SO good! We came here late night around 11:30 to grab a bite. It was my first time but my friends all are returning customers. The said that the line is typically long and depending on the time you go there can be a long wait. The place MUST be a popular hot spot---and that it is! It took maybe 15 mins for us to get our food (we had a group of 4 people and ordered quite a bit of stuff) I ordered 4 carne asada tacos with onion & cilantro. FIRE! I will most definitely be back!

The best tacos I've had in the east bay! I ordered a carne asada red taco, and an adobada (al pastor) regular taco. Both had great flavor. I preferred the adobada meat due to it's crispy texture, but enjoyed the red taco flavor and fillings! Next time I would order another 1 red taco or 2 regular tacos because I was still hungry afterwards. Note - We went in the afternoon at off hours and it was not as busy. Food took about 10 minutes to prepare.

Taste like old guacamole and the Birria is not even good The rice is no good as well. Wish I could get a refund.

It tastes like old guacamole. no good and the rice was terrible if I could get your own stars, I would. The Birria was horrible.

Food was good enjoy the taco with the lime sauce was fire burrito was okay probably should've got a different meat but it wasn't hitting the birra tacos were good and the Cali burrito looks promising but the price was not the most appealing it's like right in the middle

Carne asada red taco made

Fire!! Carne asada red taco made me PUUUURRRRR!!!! Wow! It's a wait bc it's so damn good! The medium salsa was not spicy at all so I should have gotten the spiciest sauce. Outdoor seating only. My fave so far is the rojo salsa bc it is a bit spicy smothered in the Camaron red taco! My taste buds fell in love.

The cuisine and available selections were excellent. The birria, in particular, was exceptional, as were the Agua Frescas.

The waiter was too funny , his joking making us laugh out loud. As we cleaned our plates entirely he joked whether we wanted to lick them. We did want to. The food was that good. On a Monday afternoon it wasn't too loud, but the Mexican music added just the right touch to the ambience and our waiter's kind encouragement of a little girl's learning Spanish felt very Mexican. My friend was delighted with her shrimp enchiladas. The vegetables were al dente and of superior quality and taste too. The rice wads fluffy with each grain discreet. The pinto beans tasted great. The chocolate cake was so fresh, rich, and decadent we almost couldn't believe it with chocolate syrup on the plate to deepen the chocolate flavor when several layers of iced cake was dragged through it. The food is not cheap and it tastes superb. Each dish deserves to be savored in its perfection. Even the water served very cold with a lemon wedge tasted extremely good. If you want a special experience of exceptionally good food, with equally exceptional service, go to Agave Azul. It's worth every penny and more.

Believe me, I've been to MANY other burrito places around and most all of them just give you a beans and rice burrito with a tiny bit of meat. This place at least gives you an expected amount of meat in your burrito. The location could be considered 'hole in the wall' but that does not bother me and I like to support local small businesses. I will be back here!

I grabbed a burrito here and ate it inside the movie theater with the red salsa and lemon, and it was so good I ate the entire thing. For context, I'm pretty petite and I usually can't finish a full burrito--but this one? I couldn't stop. It was that good. Super flavorful, satisfying, and just hit the spot in a way I wasn't expecting. At first, I thought it was a little pricey, but once you get the burrito, it makes sense. It's dense, filling, and honestly a big burrito--you're getting your money's worth. I've already been recommending this place to my friends, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for genuinely good food. I'm excited to come back and try more items on the menu. So good. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the East Bay.

Our server Chevo was running around but got everyone's order correct. The food came out hot and beautifully presented. The place is nicely decorated and had about 1 or 2 customers already. 2 dishes came out at the same time while the other 3 came to the table a few minutes later. The food was ok. My parents got the Mi Casa Desayuno. The waitress told my dad they were out of the fruit salad, which was weird, since the place had just opened. I guess they never had fruit in the first place. My brother choked on a large piece of plastic in his Tres Leches French Toast. I told one of the male staff members there was plastic in his dish, and he just said, "Sorry, it was probably the plastic from the bread's packaging," and then walked away. A few minutes later, I saw the waitress and pulled her aside to discreetly tell her there was plastic in my brother's meal. She told me she wanted to see it ( kind of with a tone of 'I don't believe you'), and I brought her over to the dish to show her. She didn't say anything, so I said we would happily pay for the other dishes, but could my brother's meal be comped for the choking hazard? The waitress turned and went to the kitchen, to, I guess, talk to someone about it. The waitress came back out, took the dish away, probably to show whoever was in the kitchen. A while later, she came back out with the check, but did not bother to explain to us what the plan was from there. We did see a 50% markdown on my brother's dish. It was really awkward because the waitress did not have a very pleasant or inviting attitude; she stood there glaring as we reviewed the bill and figured out the payment method. There was a serious lack of communication (not due to a language barrier; we are a Spanish-speaking family) and an unnecessary, blasé and mean demeanor from the waitress on Mother's Day.
