Food: 2/5 The chicken quesadilla was one of the greasiest versions I have tried. The flavor of the chicken itself didn't stand out and the tortilla was soggy. They offer only two types of salsa (green and red) and also charge for additional salsas over the one the order comes with. This was an 18 minute drive just to help fulfill a taco truck craving and it did not hit the spot. A few taco trucks in Oakland seem to be my go to (when driving to San Diego or Mexico isn't an option) the quesadillas have some crunch/less greasy, and also usually 2-3 salsas come with the order without an extra charge. The food was dripping grease and spilled into my bag when I first opened it. Service: 3/5 Friendly service. It was night time I really wanted to get authentic Mexican food and the area is very competitive. It's authentic what else can you ask for.

The tacos here was amazing. Plenty of meat and veggies in it, we had to wait about 5/10 minutes to order cause there were a few people agead of us but the tacos came in super fast. Would definitely eat here again and most likely this is going to be our regular tacos spot. They had some spanish music playing on the background which was nice to listen to while eating tacos. Ample of parking space in the community and there were ample of street parking just in case. We will come back again to try other menu items as well. I've been coming to this taco truck for a while but took a long hiatus. The tacos here have always been mid but seems to satisfy my cravings. However, the last visit to Tacos Los Primos left a bad taste in my mouth. The tacos here are $3.25 each. I ordered 4 carnitas tacos and was charged $13.75, which I paid CASH for. There's never been a charge for tax before and I was shocked. I think they charged me an extra 75 cents because I am not of Hispanic heritage and ordered in English. This is shady business practice and racist. I will not support a business that adds extras for themselves because they think they can get away with it. Sorry Los Primos, you lost a CASH paying customer forever. Will be patronizing other taco trucks that has honest practices in the area. Went with the Al Pastor, chorizo and carne asada. They same with marinated carrots, onion and a big Jalapeno. The tacos came on two small tortillas each. They were amazing, very favorable. Hands down the best lengua around and they even cook up in bulbs and they are so good. This is the best spot for lengua, we usually get a few lengua tacos and a burrito and onions. "Our specials are tacos, moussaka and franks and beans." Babu Bhat, Seinfeld Da Scene: Tuesday, 2pm parking lot packed (had to park on the street) line past the seating area, but it moved fast. All walks of life on this sunny day: neighborhood folks, construction workers, families, etc. I'm no newbie, been going here for years... why is it the ones I take for granted that I never review? Apologies, that stops today, Feed the family for $20? can't beat that!! Da Grub: It's $1 Taco Tuesday, so what else?? 4 each of Lengua, Cabeza, Carnitas, Carne Asada, Al Pastor. All the tacos are good, these are my family's favorites. The Lengua & Cabeza are tender and decadent, The Carnitas & Pastor are spicy, porky goodness. The Asada can be hit or miss at times, I believe better when it's busy and they are turning them around more often. Salsa is on the hot side and they are liberal with it when ordering "w/ everything". Ask for light salsa or only on the side so you can control the heat. Grilled baby onion and jalapeno (really mellows the flavors and adds sweetness) on every plate along with some radish, carrot & lime. Da Service: Even w/ the long line, service to order and get your grub is pretty quick, goes even faster just people watching while in line, pay attention and it's like impromptu theater! Extra salsa in the bag, no napkins, eat in15 minutes or you start to get some soggy tortillas. TIP: order in bunches of 3-4, don't go 5-6, they seem to adjust the amount of meat to the plate to fit, especially on Tuesdays. Also, the tacos seem fuller when you eat there, rather than to-go. All told, for a truck experience, you cannot beat the value and quality. Even at normal $1.50 prices we make the short drive from El Sobrante, it's worth it! read more

The burrito was good, but I will definitely stick with the tacos. For less than $2, you can't lose! Yummy yummy yummy and for those of you that are partial to la flor de jalisco, there is a truck located about 2 blocks away (by the laundromat).
