I made a run at one of these in their Hayward location for a potluck. That experience was so good that I had to do another one closer to home. It was getting kinda late and unsure of their hours, so I made a hasty run up in here. I walked in and was greeted by staff behind the KKC counter. As I looked at the menu, she immediately apologized and told me whatever they have left is it since they're about to close. "However, you came at a good time." I saw 4 pieces of wings, 2 legs and one fish. As she called who I assume was the manager over, I decided all this was enough. Manager came through and said, "$8.99 for all of it - out the door." Score! They also threw in an order of fries and a sandwich! How generous are they!!! VERDICT: Chicken was, of course, crispy and crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Fries with good seasoning. Sandwich went to Hubbers, so can't comment on that. FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 5. VALUE: 5. Given it was the last of their offers, they gave it at a mad discount! PARKING: Small gas station. Couple of spots onsite but plenty of street parking available. OVERALL: 5. It was a perfect (albeit quick) visit, so they deserve nothing less than a perfect rating. Keeping them on my radar for future fried chicken needs.

    Drumsticks and thighs only

Went there today and ordered a mixed family pack, and we were given all drumsticks and thighs. When I called back to complain, I was told the company has changed their menu and they no longer have breast or wings. They also said the order WAS "mixed" because it was two different parts of the chicken in the box. Apparently mixed no longer means dark and white meat, but just not all of one piece. So I guess I should feel lucky I didn't get 12 drumsticks for $40?! Never again!

3 wing order (white meat), honey biscuit, and a side of mash potatoes. Dont forget the hot sauce for the wings!

This spot is a good example of dont judge a book by its cover! Its location inside what seems to be a pretty beat-down gas station may seem unappealing to most but I gotta say the food is actually pretty decent! When you walk into the gas station convenience store, you'll find this place tucked in the back. If you have any sort of fried chicken or wings craving, this spot will satisfy it! That is precisely what led me to try this place out. Cajun style fried chicken, crispy and seasoned relatively well. I have tried both dark and white meats here; go with their dark trust me! I opted to get white meat today because they were out of the dark and wow it was soo dry! Definitely sticking to dark from now on. Their hot sauce is a must here, a great compliment to the wings. And the wings come with one honey butter biscuit which is pretty good as well! Mash potatoes are pretty average. Their wedges are good; I prefer those over their mash potatoes.

Located inside a gas station. Order at the Krispy Krunchy counter and pay at the gas station register. I ordered the family meal which came with chicken, chicken tenders, potato wedges and biscuits. The chicken was flavorful and moist and their biscuits r the best I've had so far compared to all other chicken spots. Perfect balance of sweet and salty. I could've gone without the chicken tenders and potato wedges, the wedges are way too thick. I was afraid I was gonna get full off of eating one wedge. Overall chicken and biscuits is the way to go.

This is the worst service I've ever received!!!! I ordered 8pc chicken tender and got a 5pc was told they don't deal with returns /exchanges

This is the worst service I've ever received!!!! I ordered 8pc chicken tender and have only 5pcs!!! I went to the car and checked my food to find 5pc not an 8pc. I went back inside for them to fix it and was told they basically dnt deal with complaints, returns, and exchanges. I was told this was my fault for checking my food in the car. They said I can give you 2 potato wedges to put a smile on my face WHAT!!!! Who says that to a loyal customer!!! I have been purchasing my gas there for years and this was the first time I tried the chicken!! I will never be back to purchase anything again!!!!!

Crunchy and delicious juicy chicken. They cook it when you order so it is still nice and hot when you get home.

Its a casual, Korean cafe located in a small strip mall and adjacent to Hernandez Park. The name is a bit of a misnomer. Yes they specialize in a variety of bone-in, Korean Fried Chicken with multiple flavor options. But turn the menu over and you'll see even more options for bento boxes, tofu soup, hot stone rice dishes (dolsot) and more. Service was fast and friendly, but don't overstay your welcome since the restaurant is small and very popular. Bulgolgi bento was awesome - it comes with ita own banchan, japchae, fried gyoza, and a food portion of beef that our 6yo som devoured by himself. Chicken Dolsot was also a solid dish - I like having veggies, carbs, and proteins all in one on a sizzling bowl with a fried egg. Wife and her bestie shared a half order of soy garlic KFC, which were large, crispy, and sticky. Its my favorite KFC flavor and wished we got a full order so I can have some more, LOL. Definitely keeping this place in mind for future visits. A good dinner takeout place if I ever need to work late from Richmond during evening commute.

It was an ideal place to take a group because 1) it was fast casual 2) everyone can put in their individual orders without the awk who's-going-to-put-their-card-in issue 3) there were 2 restaurants (Chimmelier + Oh G Burger) in 1 so more options! What I got: 8 pc sweet gochujang wings (sauce was called YANG'YUM') and a side of tots with a cup for water **the wings were from Chimmelier and the tots were from Oh G Burger We were able to combine two tables together to fit our group of 5 and the cashier brought our food over in quick succession. The tots were my fav even tho the wings were supposed to be the star of the show. I liked how they gave me PLENTY of disposable gloves because the sauce is v sticky. Gochujang is a savory, sweet Korean chili paste, but I would say it was more sweet than spicy. I enjoyed my meal but maybe would wanna try a dry rub because putting on gloves every time can be a chore. I went for a yelp elite perk once and grabbed their chicken sando which was tasty.

However, on our second trip back - we once again ordered chicken sandwiches and also shrimp toast as an appetizer. One bite into the shrimp toast and the piece was very COLD...It wasn't fully cooked so we flagged it to them. They were very apologetic and happy to take it back to warm it up. But damn! After trying my first Dave's in Pinole, this was my 2nd and had the same experience: consistent. This one is in El Cerrito Plaza Shopping Center by the BART station. I ordered Dave's # 2: Two sliders with fries and comes with pickles ($17.49). I chose the medium with heat options of No Spice, Little Mild, Mild, Medium, Hot, Extra Hot and Reaper. I also got a side of Kale Slaw ($4.59) and added a large Crispy Fried Pickles ($7.99). Mind you, this was a snack, so the sliders were the perfect size. One for me and one for the wifey and we shared the rest. The chicken is crispy on the outside but was simultaneously moist and tender inside. The heat level is basically how many (or how little) they sprinkled on the spice powder. The side of Kale Slaw provided a nice buffer to cut out the saltiness as it's a nice balance of crispy, fresh veggies with a sweet and tangy flavor. I also loved the side of pickles that came with the # 2. They're just plain pickles, and they were definitely better than the Crispy Fried Pickles (skip in my opinion). These were overly seasoned and salty to my liking. I ended up removing the breading just to get to the pickles inside. I also found the price to be too steep to justify the price and quantity that came with it. Overall, it's a solid sandwich that makes chicken right. Better than KFC, but not Popeye's and Jollibee.

They've got everything you would need for an elevated picnic or even a barbecue with the family. They have an intriguing selection of house made sausages-- the Chicken Tikka Masala sausage caught my eye and I can't wait to try it. They also sell whole smoked quail that are seasoned heavily yet each bite has just the right amount of smokiness, spices, and salt. Their hot food items and sandwiches are perfect for a quick lunch during your break from work or on your way home. There are also a few counter seats if you want to enjoy your meal there. So far I've tried the smoked quail, the Muffaletta sandwich, and their green lentil soup with chicken + veg. The sandwich was filled to the brim and each bite was a flavor bomb.
