My daughter and I had walked in this spot while our son was getting a haircut and right away we were greeted by the staff. The ambiance was nice, clean & low key. We ordered a small cheese pizza and it was ready rather quickly! We will definitely be visiting again for some garlic twists or my daughters favorite-cheese pizza! read more

I'm so so sad you closed. I ended up ordering from what used to be pizza with a twist in El sobrante. It's now called Chicago pizza with a twist. They are very nice people. However, I wouldn't order again. I loved having you in our neighborhood. Now there's no good pizza nearby read more

Delicious pizza with a literal twist. Butter chicken pasta. Lamb gyro pizza. Garlic chicken pizza is to die for. Fresh ingredients with so many different flavors. I started ordering pizzas from here during Covid and we continued after because of how delicious and different the food is. They have delicious garlic bread as well. The service is amazing. I love the fact they allow omissions and substitutions on their orders. I hate cilantro and they were so kind as to remake my pizza when I didn't realize that it came with it. So very appreciative of that. Plenty of seating if you'd like to eat there. Family owned. Parking can be a little hectic, but it is worth it to be able to eat a delicious slice of pizza. They also deliver Overall 10/10 read more

I order from here because my kids enjoy their pepperoni pizza. But this place is quite frustrating as the phone number listed is incorrect and they weirdly won't let you order pepperoni pizza off the website but you can order everything else, makes no sense at all. TBH if my kids didn't like this place I wouldn't order from here but the pizza is fine enough. Warrior NY in Rodeo is much much better. read more

We ordered half butter chicken and half tika masala. The base of this pizza is worse than little Caesar's, which is crispier on the outside and has more flavor. A few things went wrong with this pizza: - The pizza dough is too chewy, too soggy. - The pizza dough doesn't have any taste to it. - There were way too many onions in the pizza. They could've easily called this an onion pizza. If this were a frozen pizza, i think it'd be decent but it was made fresh and it cost $30. I would say the flavor is pretty good but everything I mentioned above trumps it all. The service was nice. They were patient while we looked through the menu and recommended a few items. Took about 20 min for the pizza. read more

Its always been awesome till lately! You can't door dash pepperoni pizza here anymore! It doesn't bother me any but the kids that holler for it is who I buy for! How can anyone run a pizza place here without it? I truly hope yall bring it back soon, I don't want to go to another store! read more

6/24/24 I twisted my wife's arm to visit this shop. "Look" I sez. "The place is clean, quiet, they have good food, and they have good beer on tap." We arrive and order a small pizza. A glass of New Belgium Space Dust IPA and a diet Coke for my Wife. We look for a clean table. STRIKE ONE. A lot of the tables are not spotless like last visit. We clean one ourselves. There are two televisions blasting nonsense into the atmosphere and we are the only customers so I ask them to turn the noise level down. No response. I find the remote and do it myself. STRIKE TWO. The cashier comes to our table and reports the keg of beer that I paid for a glass from is empty. Since I already paid, I chose a lesser ale. swing and a FOUL BALL. The pizza arrives piping hot and delicious. Crust with cornmeal makes you want more and more. Not too salty and I can't stop folding mouth watering slices and shoving them into my pie hole. Swing and CRACK! Pizza Twist connects and... Ladies and Gentlemen it is going, going, going and ... HOME RUN!!! We've just witnessed History! Wow. read more

Neither Hubbers or I didn't feel like cooking, so we threw ideas in a hat (so to speak) as to what we really had a taste for. After much debate, this place won out. I wanted the Hawaiian pizza, but we felt a couple of sides or starters were musts. We didn't realize the choices seemed endless and that it took us a bit to finally narrow it down. After much debate and using the process of elimination, we finally had a list! So I picked up the phone and put the order in. "It'll be ready in 30 minutes..." Got in the car 25 minutes later (they are that close to home) and found myself inside in no time. They were close to closing time, chairs atop tables, floors clean, and was welcomed in very nicely. I was told they were just about finished with my stuff. Showed the perk, paid and in a minute, I was walking out the door with my goodies. That 5 minute drive felt like a 500 minute drive, car smelled so delish!!!! SHAHI PANEER NAAN: A meal in itself! So glad I started with this. There's a nice crisp to the bread, had a slight and nice Indian curry aroma and the paneer added texture. The tomatoes and onions served as sidekicks of sorts that also added to the overall flavor. I really REALLY liked it! BUTTER CHICKEN NAAN TWIST: It looked strikingly like the paneer version, but trust: it's a whole different profile. They are consistent with the crisp of the bread. The chicken was seasoned well and moist. Veggies were also sidekicks that helped elevate the flavor. Delish! LEMON PEPPER WINGS: Flavor was perfect, and though the chicken was cooked through and through, I would have much preferred it with a little bit more crisp. But hey, that's a personal thing, and I will take it as they serve it. (Side note: I had leftovers and popped them in the air fryer for a bit and eventually got the texture - while that perfect flavor remained - they way I like it.) HAWAIIAN PIZZA: Thin crust. Perfect amount of cheese. The amount of ham and pineapple were commensurate with each other and there were plenty of both. Crust was crispy. To heck with people who say pineapple should never be on pizza, this was yummishhhhh!!! FOOD: 5. There was nothing I didn't like. SERVICE: 4. Very little interaction, but certainly above average for the small amount of time I was there. They were all very friendly and welcoming. VALUE: 5. Worth it. Plenty of food for two, we had enough leftovers for a snack/small second meal. PARKING: Shared with others. Not an issue nearing closing time. OVERALL: 4.75. The chicken Cesar salad and the spicy wings were all Hubbers, so I can't comment on them. He liked them, though, I'll attest to that. The next time - because there will be one - will be a dine-in experience. I'm confident they'll earn that 5th star then. read more

Pizza was perfect! Best pizza ever for me. Ordered family size with pesto sauce, garlic chicken, mushrooms, sausage, olives. Perfectly cooked with thin crust. The best pizza I ever had! Great option for a desi pizza! Tried paneer and tandoori chicken and surprisingly veg was as good as chicken. I have had in similar places in east bay where the large pizza size is a big bigger for a couple more bucks. So I wished this was big enough too, but 2 pizzas sufficiently fed 4 of us. So am happy with the experience overall. read more

The food is really good! We had large pizza - half spicy lamb and half 3 idiots - and they were both really good! The lamb was my favorite between the two; it was a mix of spicy and savory with a little sweetness from the pineapple. I'm not usually a fan of pineapple on pizza but this wasn't bad. On all of the Indian pizzas, you get to choose the spice level, which is nice. Next time I want to try the spicy lamb bread. Definitely check this place out! read more

Hercules got a new pizza spot! Pizza Twist is an international pizza chain. With locally sourced ingredients and premium quality GMO-Free meat, the menu is filled with vegan, gluten-free and traditional Indian twists of flavor. How amazing is that?! We had a nice Sunday football spread going and these babies fit right in. We got 3 medium pizzas - 1 supreme and 2 vegan chicken tikka masala and Bombay garlic chicken. The toppings were generous, vibrant and fresh. The flavors were unique (everyone loved the chicken tikka masala!) and the crust was tasty with cornmeal dusted goodness. I wasn't too much of a fan of the vegan cheese but overall my family and I enjoyed the flavors. There's a ton of different pizza, wings (even vegan!), naan flavors to try - I personally want to try the butter chicken and paneer flavors next! read more

The best pizza in town. I love the paneer and chicken pizzas. I've tried most flavors and I have never been disappointed.

Pizza With A Twist! My very first time visiting Pizza Twist since they opened back in December. So tonight we decided it's Pizza night with a Twist! I've always wish that a pizza joint like this style with both Indian and Pakistan flavors would open up close by since I've always like these pizza style flavors in other places. So, tonight we ordered a medium Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza Twist and an order of Butter Chicken Naan bread and both without heat. As expected, the Chicken Tikka pizza was full of flavors with an even distributions of toppings. The toppings were spread consistently in each slice therefore each slice was flavorful. Yummy! Unfortunately the crust was slightly overbaked but I'll give it a pass this time. As for the Butter Chicken flavor Naan, it was flavorful but this time, the Naan was hard and over baked. I'm used to Naan being soft but this one was just the opposite. Is this how it's served?. I'll have to give it a try next time. But for now, finally, another pizza joint with a Twist of flavors! So, thank you for being here. I'll be back for sure! read more

The former Extreme Pizza has become better than ever. Pizza Twist definitely has a twist that Dominos, Round Table, and Mountain Mikes doesn't have. I tried out this place after having my cup of Starbucks. I didn't expect to see a different selections on the menu. I would never see Halal on a pizza but when I had the Chicken Tikka Masala it was good. Would you believe that the breadsticks are naan? Round Table doesn't have naan on their breadsticks. You want a pizza cookie and brownie? This place has it. I will try this place again in the future. I do recommend this place for other Hercules residents. read more

Pizza twist is loved by my son so I treat him a few times a month. Customer service is hit or miss, but the pizza is consistent. Unlike their neighbor Round Table, their ingredients are fresh and quality. Never had anything other than the "Indian" pizzas but maybe one day I'll expand our options. read more

Meh, sorry but I'm not impressed. Maybe because I am just not found of the "twist" style. Not for me, sorry.

First time trying. Ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, hand toss crust, medium spicy. Surprisingly light and crisp crust, which was good because I knew I wanted more! Good flavors balanced over the sauce. The spice level was perfect (green chiles). I ordered online and asked a few questions which I was pleasantly informed about by the friendly, knowledgeable staff. Having tried this, it put my doubts to rest about trying the spicy lamb kabob pizza next visit. A much better replacement imo for Extreme Pizza, which tended to be extra greasy. read more

This used to be an Extreme Pizza, which I never even went in. Then one day I noticed it was a different pizza restaurant, one that I wasn't familiar with. One late evening on a day where I was like "hell no to cooking, hell no to fast food,' Pizza Twist was the opportunity to check it out. Granted, the kids didn't feel like pizza (I know, insane, right?) but it wasn't their decision anyway. Ha. The owner was at the register and he patiently explained all the pizzas I was curious about, mainly because I wanted to choose well. I decided on the chicken tikka masala pizza and the masala bread. I also ordered a plain pepperoni for the boring ass kids just in case they weren't into the tikka masala pizza. By the time we arrived home, the pizza was still warm and cheesy. The pizza was delicious. Thin-crusted and hella flavorful, I was so happy we (I) decided on ordering from here and even better that it's neighborhood spot. The tikka masala flavors were on point and the masala bread was just like the pizza, but not as pizza-ish. LOL Definitely returning! read more

Really friendly staff that make you feel welcome. All of the ingredients are freshly chopped, and the pizza tastes delicious. This restaurant does a great job at combining the best of both cuisines. Highly recommend trying this pizza (if you like Indian food). If you don't like Indian food then try one of their non-Indian influenced pizzas. read more

Great pizzas, fast service, I am going tomorrow again. My brother took me there and I had a good time. I Highly recommend it!

False Advertising of Pricing. Their printed menus and menu board do not reflect this pricing. They said it was because I asked for 2 flavors. When I ordered I asked if I could do multiple flavors, there was no mention of an up charge, especially not one for $3. So now they're calling me a liar. Business is a joke. read more

LOVE the new and improved Pizza Twist that was once "Extreme Pizza". Their makeover is very colorful and new school but once you're inside, you still get that strong sense of family, tradition, and comfort. The menu itself is very bold with options like "Tikka Maasala Pizza", "Twisty Pizza", and "Three Idiots Pizza" lol. The ingredients are quite unique but harmonize together perfectly. The owners also made a very wise decision to add both Halal & Vegan options to their menu. I ordered a family sized vegan combination pizza. My kids LOVED IT. The next day the pizza was definitely "gummy" so I'll go for a Large next time. The ordering process was fairly simple, they send you a text with a link and when you click the link the next screen will ask what type of vehicle you have so that they can bring your pizza outside. We spent about $37 on our order which was about $4 more than average due to it being Vegan, overall good experience. read more

I would ideally like to give this place 3.5 stars because my review goes up for food and down for service. Pizza Twist is my favorite restaurant to visit when I'm in town because it is the ideal combo of Desi-inspired options, heat, and halal choices. There is truly something for everyone here, but it's a godsend Alhamdulillah for Muslims (who don't lack for great options in the area). THE GOOD: There spicy pasta, wings (tandoori, tikka, other flavors), twisted pocket (like a calzone), and Desi pizzas are delicious. Again, it's not Indian food, but a spicy Indian take on a lot of the foods we love already. I really didn't know a pizza could be made in so many different ways. Also, I love their multicultural and multi religious staff. The owner is Sikh (I believe), but some of the staff are Muslim, and the vibe is really welcoming. THE NOT SO GOOD: I know that the food industry has been rocked nationwide, but the most consistent issue here is the inconsistency with the expected time for takeout. I appreciate that the food is all made fresh, but 10 min is usually 20, 15-20 is usually 30, etc. If this part can be managed better, they certainly deserve four stars. I will be back! Also, I was surprised to hear that they offer two types of halal: machine cut and hand cut. While this might not mean anything for non Muslims, it matters a lot for us. What I don't understand is why the owner offers both? Why not just say all the meat is hand cut (dhabihah), which is a blessing for everyone who eats the food? read more

The food is awesome! We've had the pizzas, breadsticks, and wings and they were all a hit. No issue with the quality and flavor of the food. However, I ordered online the Tandoori Chicken Pizza for pickup and marked "no mushrooms". When I got home I found that not only did they add mushrooms, they put an INSANELY high amount of 'em. If you are a mushroom lover I'm sure you would be thrilled but my wife and I aren't those people haha. If you order online, I highly recommend including an additional comment under the special instructions if you removed a standard topping and then double checking the pizza again before you leave. read more

I absolutely love how this chain is growing! I ordered the naan pizza (Shahi paneer, spicy) it was good and spicy. The sauce was perfect so it didn't make the naan soggy, the naan is crispy like a thin crust. My only issue was the Shahi paneer pasta, it was a bit bland and sauce was too watered down. Otherwise I definitely recommend the Naan pizzas! read more

Okay so, it's good. Can't say great but it's solidly good. I like the "twist" of having paneer and tikka masala sauce just wish you could do naan as the crust. I was looking forward to creating this concoction until I was told that naan offerings are small/appetizer size and that there is no naan pizza crust. The edge of the crust on their regular pizza is crispy which I prefer, not doughy at all. The dough under the toppings is soft and fluffy, good taste to it. The toppings are okay but I'd say the paneer is chopped really small and they melted so I didn't get that squeak I love and the chicken looked like it had more char in the photos than it does in person. The regular red sauce is a little sweet not as savory as I would like but still good. The wings need some work, a little on the fatty side (popped them in the air-frier for an extra 10/15 and they were great) I like my wings hot and crispy! but the taste was good. Will be back for a fusion pizza night, thanks pizza twist! read more
