I really wanted to like this Margarita Pizza. I had seen pictures of it and was impressed. So after a long day of work on Saturday, we picked up a 12-in margarita pizza for about $23. It was hot and fresh and we immediately ate it. Unfortunately the crust had very little flavor and was very soggy. The cheese had become curdled. Either this pizza was executed poorly or the ingredients were not quality. Whatever the reason, this was a mediocre pizza at best. We throughly enjoyed this entire meal. My wife and I are both from Brooklyn, NY and this hit the spot.

When you walk through the door, you realize that this place can't seem to decide what it wants to be. We were expecting a sit down pizza restaurant which it kind of is, but it's also a game room with only three places to sit at. The arcade takes up 1/3 of the restaurant and there are only two tables that seat 8. It has all the ambience of a double wide trailer with uncomfortable furniture. Obviously, this is more of a to go place than dine in. We decided to sit at one of the eight tops and ordered two lunch specials, which is basically two slices and drink. My two New York style slices were covered in toppings and was worth every penny. My wife's two veggie slices looked like an organic garden sitting on a pizza. These are big slices and it's hard to get two down. If you need a drink to wash it down, you can get either a soda in a can or beer in a bottle. Gotta love Warrior New York Pizza! We love this place, whether for delivery or eating in inside their spacious area. With delivery they're pretty reliable. There has only been a couple of times where the wait has been extremely long. Inside is great for group gatherings because they've got big tables. They also have air hockey and some video games but they are always unplugged when we go in. One time a kid plugged them in himself and they seemed to work just fine. The pizza is great! We always get the Gluten-Free cauliflower crust pizza and it never disappoints! My child can polish one all himself if I don't stop him. read more

When I saw a piece of the Big Apple was in Rodeo and close to my house, I had to get a slice of the pie. Ordered a large New York pizza that came w/ pepperoni, sausage mushroom and mozzarella. Absolutely loved it! Any New Yorker would be proud and the pie did justice. The pizza was very tasty and easily fed my family of four. Oh and by the way, the slices were HUGE. Two slices and I was already on the couch passed out. The price came out to $31 (including tax) which I thought was very reasonable. Nowadays for the same size pizza from Roundtable or Mountain Mikes is like $50. Also, the customer service was great. The guy at the front counter was incredibly kind and even gave my son a token for one of the arcade machines in their parlor while we waited for the pizza. Looking around some more, we settled on this place for delivery. Bbq Chicken: I didn't realize how big New York slices were and these were quite the size. The bbq chicken pizza was really good and presentation wise was appealing. The sauce was not too sweet and the rest of the toppings complemented each other. I was so excited to try your pizza. Your establishment had been recommended by a few people. So last night I ordered, for delivery, your 18" Manhattan and added sausage. The pizza came and it was visibly over cooked, with over half the pizza having charred large air bubbles. There was a very scant amount of toppings on the pizza. Heard a lot of good things about Warrior New York Pizza and finally got a chance to try it out. We got the New York Pizza. Pizza base was a super thin and crispy crust. Pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom toppings were plentiful and good quality. Cheese and sauce were on point. Overall, a delicious pizza. Wings were tiny little bone in drums and flats. Crispy and with good flavor. Liked the garlic Parmesan slightly more than the Asian style (a bit too saucy for me). The restaurant itself was a bit lacking as they're currently remodeling. It was a HOT day and the doors were open with no air conditioning. There were a bunch of arcade games unplugged and even the restroom was out of service. If you told me this location was used for a post-apocalyptic film set, the interior would make sense. It truly is as good as their regular crust. People laugh at me when I say I want the "blistered crust" and they nailed it. I had the NY pizza (pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushroom) and added bell pepper and onion. I ordered a regular crust for my partner and the GF for me. When I opened the boxes I couldn't tell by looking which was the GF pizza. THAT NEVER HAPPENS! Fortunately, the wrote GF (see pic) on the inside of my box. The toppings were perfectly balanced to the sauce and the cheese. The crust was NOT SOGGY! This is the best pizza I have had in years. At the outset, the location looks a bit deserted and sketchy but once you get past that and go in, it's a cool pizza joint in the small town of Rodeo. Since it's close to my place, I decided to walk over. Inside had a bunch of booths and pictures in the wall. I was starving and decided to get a small pepperoni and mushroom pie. Unfortunately, they were closing soon so I had to get it to go. On the walk home, I couldn't wait any longer so I opened it up and it was a glorious sight of hot melted cheese, ample pepperoni and fresh mushrooms baked on a crispy crust. I was out near Martinez buying motorcycle parts that I totally don't need for motorcycles that I never even have time to ride lol. I was craving pizza and I love searching for new spots when I'm in an unfamiliar place. I searched for slices near me on Yelp which lead me to Warrior pizza. They do serve slices but only at lunchtime. I arrived around 8 pm, so a large pie it is.  The inside has a retro feel to it with large booth seats and nostalgic decor. A bit dated and dark but it adds to the vibes. They have some fun arcade games as well. If you're looking for a divey pizza spot, this could be it. My pizza was ready in about 17 minutes. Per the name, it's a thin-style NY pizza. I wasn't expecting much but was blown away. Insanely good pizza! Great flavor, quality cheese, and a nice bake to the undercarriage. Not overly greasy either. It's a bit far for my normal pizza run but I will certainly get it again the next time I'm near Rodeo. read more

Holy wow! I've been looking for a good local pizza spot for a little over a year now. This is my new favorite pizza place! Not only is this pizza thin, the sauce to crust ratio is perfect for me. It's a well balanced between cheese, sauce, and toppings. Tasty tasty pizza and very affordable! I was so surprised at the prices of their pizzas. I loved that you could get a full pizza or a slice. I got the 12" New York pizza and a love of the Long Island pizza. Both were so yummy and thin! Even on "thin" pizzas most places don't make it like that New York thin style and this is it. Cute little place for a simple date night or family night nothing too fancy but it's cute !! They have their signature chicken bacon ranch pizza that I get every-time ! I usually get a specific pizza but in this case it's that good that I'll get it instead! I definitely recommend their " chicken bacon ranch " pizza ! I don't think they sell this one by the slice so I have to get a whole pizza each time, that's a bit inconvenient. The crust on it is a bit harder so I just don't eat it most of the time , but that's not an issue for me. They also sell red sauce pizza by the slice if you don't feel like eating a whole pizza / or your on a diet!! Bathrooms are closed currently along with some claw machines & the game room due to the new covid variant. So many pictures of the customers in store they truly care about giving great customer service. As I'm writing this it is a bit chilly in the restaurant so bring a jacket! Has multiple little machines to get things from as shown in the pictures. Very attentive to your needs. Pizza took a bit ( we usually order on the phone and show up when it's done so it felt like longer since we were here LOL ) , but it was fresh & delicious per usual and never too oily !!
