Honestly the people up front are SO kind & the food is GREAT!! My partner & I ordered online & asked to not have granola in the açaí bowl if it had gluten because my partner is celiac. When I arrived to pick up the order they explained that the granola had gluten but added extra fruit in replacement without me even asking. So kind and so considerate! I've visted their College Ave. location a few times before, but this was my first time here. They have huge, fresh salads that are great for sharing. On my way to the Cal Berkeley vs UCLA game we stopped here to grab a smoothie. Honestly it's not the type of place that would catch your eye but once inside you'll be glad you came. They have quite a selection of smoothies, fresh pressed juices and salads. If you're vegan or vegetarian or looking to eat healthier I would recommend giving this place a try. I'm not a big fan of smoothies that are yogurt or milk based so I was glad they offered options that didn't consist of either. I also prefer fresh squeezed juices as a base rather than from concentrate, they did not disappoint! There was no line when I arrived. They offer indoor and outdoor seating though there isn't much of a view aside from normal street traffic. I thought it was cool they had air plants and succulent beds in the windows. The decor is modest, tables are clean and they offer reusable utensils. As I only purchased smoothies, there were straws on the tables as well. We ordered two Dr. Green smoothies and one Strawberry Shaka to be split between the girls. Everyone enjoyed their smoothies. The smoothies were quite refreshing, smooth and tasted delicious. The Tuna Avocado salad I had was great, I'll just lead with that!! They make the salad right in front of you, the place was empty when I came, so the service was quick. They gave me a lot of tuna, and it was very flavorful, I didn't even need to use the pesto dressing. They had outdoor seating, so I decided to eat here since it was a nice day. I've only had one meal here so I can't say this is an accurate review of the whole place, but what I will review is the salad--I got an italiano. On first glance, it looked like a hefty amount, but I think the proportions are off because within just a few bites I was completely done with the meat and toppings and I was just left with green leaves with barely any dressing left. Was looking for a nearby place where I could get a smoothie that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Organic Greens on Solano delivered! I got the Dr. Green smoothie and it was exactly what I wanted for a mid-afternoon pick me up. The smoothie was fresh, healthy, and affordable. I love getting smoothies but hate how expensive they can be. The Dr. Green was less than $8 The inside of the store is bright, clean, and comfortable. They also have a small outdoor section that's perfect for enjoying your food when the weather is nice. I didn't get any food but the salads looked delicious and much more affordable than places like Sweetgreen. I'll definitely be back to try those and their paninis soon! I love going to Organic Greens when I want a healthy, delicious meal that won't leave me feeling sluggish. The tuna avocado salad is one of my favorites--fresh and packed with flavor. I also can't resist their spinach avocado smoothie; it's smooth, tasty, and makes me feel good about what I'm eating. I really had a hankering for the Zucchini Noodles they serve at their Kittredge Street location but was bummed when I didn't see it on the overhead menu. After some major eye-darting, I settled on the $10.99 Arugula Princess Salad, which turned out to be a good-size bowl of fresh and mostly sweet ingredients. It was all tied together by the baby arugula and the strawberry vinaigrette. On the menu are smoothies, pressed juice, paninis, multiple signature salads, açaí bowls, wellness shots and a few dinner entrees. I came in for a late lunch and enjoyed the buffalo chicken salad. The buffalo flavor isn't spicy but rather wonderfully flavorful. A generous portion of dressing is mixed into the greens. Each ingredient tastes fresh. I love Organic Greens! I order food from here at least once a week for hikes, picnics, or when I want to treat myself to a healthy lunch in between zoom calls. I've tried most of their salads and sandwiches. My favorite salad right now is the Thai Girl Salad and favorite sandwich is the prosciutto-mozzarella panini (honorable mention of the chicken pesto sandwich too!). If you order the Kale Chicken Cesar ask them to go east on the dressing. They really drown the Cesar salad for some reason. Today I tried the Grains & Greens Chicken Salad and while it's heavy on cabbage, it worked for me because I like cabbage. Not a huge fan of the arugula salads: Italiano Style Steak Salad was okay; the arugula was too bitter because not much else is going on in that one. The Arugula Princess Salad was also okay but I probably won't get it again. I usually order on DoorDash and select the pick up option. Super fast and easy. read more

Great addition to Solano Ave! Have been to the other locations and super pumped this one opened up. The salads are delicious and serving sizes are big! Let's just say, I won't be coming here again.. go to the one in Berkeley. I've gotten Organic Greens from their Berkeley location many times before, however sadly my first experience on Solano wasn't great. I ordered an açaí bowl that was basically 20% açaí blend, 20% granola, and the rest fruit. I was basically eating cereal. I didn't say anything because it wasn't HUGE deal to me at the time and I don't like to complain unless it's something that needs their attention. But when I ordered the smoothie blend for my husband with blueberry, banana, spinach, and honey (sounds simple enough right?), I took one sip of it and disliked it because there was an odd taste to it that I couldn't pin point that was not ideal. Anyways, I went back inside asking if it's possible to swap it for another smoothie because "I genuinely dislike the taste of it." The manager came out and said "they had a policy" that they can't exchange ".. but what would you want?" I said the strawberry one (strawberry, banana, pineapple, and honey.. again easy enough right?). He then proceeded to ask "well what if you don't like the strawberry one?" in a manner that I took as rude especially as a manager. I said I wouldn't put that against them and wouldn't complain because it's just my original order I was highly displeased. He made it seem like SUCH an inconvenience and said "okay give them 5 minutes." I told them "never mind", threw my drink in the trash and walked out. First time since COVID that I've written a Yelp review, knowing many are struggling, but this was just plain rude customer service that has nothing to do with mistakes or them trying their best. read more

Both the Rainbow Salad and the side salad came very soggy as if they had been lying in a most environment for quite some time. The Chicken Pesto Panini was decent though, except the overloading of red onions; masked the chicken and pesto a little bit. Price: B- Based on the quality and taste of the food, the price of the food wasn't unreasonable. $12.99 for a salad and $12.99 for a panini aren't the end of the world or anything absurb given the location we are in. Overall: C+ We wanted a change of pace from Asian food recently and saw great reviews of this place. We are hoping to maybe give this place another chance in person dining. read more

I found a dirty root of something that doesn't resemble lettuce or arugula inside the Tuna Avocado Salad. It looks like a house plant and I'm pretty scarred now. This was my second time here and both times very disappointing. I've tried the Italiano Steak Salad and the arugula was extremely bitter and not fresh. Maybe because I'm always going towards closing I get the bad leaves :(. I've also tried the Chicken Panini sandwich and it's extremely dry. The panini bread was harder than a rock. The girl cashier also forgot to give me my sandwich until I double checked the bag. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more

At near $15 a salad, it felt awful expensive, but this is the second review I've written for an establishment on Solano that says that, so maybe it's a me problem, not a them problem. The service was great too. Called in the orders and they were ready when I got there 8 minutes later. So I guess I deducted a star for Value, but other than that the food is good. I ordered lunch via DoorDash from organic greens today. I'm giving three stars because the salad and rice in my wild rice bowl were delicious. However, they put some crab salad on the side and it smelled like death. I had to throw it out and half of the arugula that was touching it. It smelled so bad. I might give them another try...but I don't recommend any seafood from this spot. Maybe it doesn't get a quick turn around. I can still smell that smell. It's stuck in my nose. read more

I tried the Paleo Diet Salad for my first visit to Organic Greens on Solano Avenue. It was a great portion of healthy, fresh veggies .... grilled asparagus, crusted tuna slices, broccoli, other greens and a tasty dressing made for a very filling dinner!
