I barely found it because it looks like a vacant storefront with a For Lease sign. A red OPEN sign was the only giveaway. I happened to read that this place offers some excellent Korean-style dishes. I think the menu can be more accurately described as global. It's apparently a mother-and-son business with the kitchen run by a Korean-American chef named Daniel who doesn't share his last name. His mother works the front of the house, and people order beforehand and come in for pick up. There's a community table presumably set up for dining, but the space felt more like a dental waiting area. Through the order window, I could see Daniel way in the back beyond a passthrough. I used their QR code to review the menu and order on the spot. All the entrees appeared enticing including Grilled Short Rib and Fried Pitman Farms Chicken. I chose the $24.50 Market Grain Salad. It was beautifully presented even in a takeout box (Photo 9). There was a mix of arugula, iceberg, romaine, and Treviso radicchio at the base topped with visual jewels: Fuji apple, Sonia Rojas cara cara orange, blood orange, mandarin orange, muscat grapes, and avocado. Further toppings included spring onion., tarragon, sunflower seeds, English cucumber, heirloom carrots, and French breakfast radish. Farro, red quinoa, and French feta cheese added more layers of flavor and texture. Harissa grilled Pitman Farms chicken provided a succulent serving of protein, and a unique sesame soy lemon chili dressing finished off a masterful creation. It was an impeccable salad. The $11 Skin On Gaufrette Fries were cross-cut and impossibly tender with a tasty dipping sauce (Photo 6). A genuine winner! This place is not shy about using MSG and the food is very salty and strong tasting. I find the dishes much cheaper than other Vietnamese restaurants. My dish was only $13.50. That's very cheap since it was full of herbs and seafood. Service is very efficient when they're not busy. No frills. Service is very slow when it's busy. Most of their customers are people who are coming here during their office lunch break during the weekdays. I noticed it was very quiet on a weekend. Tried this place for the first time 2 days ago. I keep getting really good coupon deals left on my door for them so I thought I would give them a try. Placed my order over the phone with no problems and in 20 minutes my order was ready. The customer service at the counter was good and friendly. The place itself seemed pretty chill too and a good place to go and watch a game. Ordered one specialty pizza (the roosters roost) and one regular pepperoni. The pepperoni pizza was so-so (Ive had worse) but the specialty pizza was GOOD! Believe I found a new favorite pizza. I have had a hard time finding a good pizza place near where I live but so far this place has been a good experience. Good pizza and good customer service! read more

I used to frequent Round Table in Pinole but their prices are way over priced for one pizza. I started to order from Mountain Mikes and have found that you get more for your money here. They are always friendly, and always willing to give me the current discount over the phone. The food is delicious ! you get a better size pizza then the other place not to mention their special where you get two pizzas for less then the price of one from the other place. They have won my service, the quality of food is better. We ordered a extra large and was shocked and happy to see how big it was compared to what we were used to at Round Table. ZERO STARS Had a very unacceptable experience with the deliver driver. I order the pizza for my family. In which I was not near by, so I had it delivered to my family's home. When the guy arrived, my brother opened the door (he is in a wheelchair, but it doesn't mean he doesn't know how to drive), the delivery drive said "oh, so that's why you had it delivered." Like reallly?! How rude to say. There's a saying, "think before you say." But common sense, who insult a disabled person? Disability Discrimination Act 1995 protects a person from any insult. I ordered from Door Dash and Door Dash got our order wrong. The next time I ordered, the San Pablo Dam Rd location actually sent us a free Pizza along with our order even though it was not their fault. I have been in the location for a school district meeting and they are very nice people work there. I only ordered from Door Dash because I didn't realize we could order for direct delivery. While I do not visit this area often, I make sure to stop by here at any given chance. What amazes me is the consistency with which excellent pizza is prepared here. Despite not visiting for months at a time, I always come back to a fresh pizza, excellent and kind service, and a clean restaurant environment. Also watched the Super Bowl here once, and the staff did an excellent job hosting despite the busy evening. A great place I will surely visit again. read more

Quick service, generous portion, prices fair, funky burger joint with great character. Last time I was here was 1998 with my dad. Nice women who work there and cook. Wish they had coconut pie still but they said it's hard to find a baker. They have another restaurant in Concord. It was great, so glad I thought to try it out again.
