I would give this place 2.5 stars rounded to 3. I came on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait. Inside is clean and spacious. Drinks: Peach tea with yakult foam: I liked the foam and thought it was delicious but the peach tea was not peach tea. They used syrup for flavor since the drink tasted very artificial. I did like the peach chunks but it just wasn't worth the $5.00+ price tag. I also got it half sweet and it was already pretty sweet. I only got it because it's #2 most popular but I wouldn't recommend it for those who want a real tea like drink. White peach oolong tea with pudding: I got this 75% sugar and it was on the sweet side. This one tasted more like tea but it didn't taste like fresh tea. It was okay but I wouldn't say it's the best. Both drinks had the perfect balance of flavors. This place is located in the 168 Market plaza, so parking is abundant. Inside, there is a plastic divider and a table in front of the cashier's counter to ensure social distancing. Hand sanitizer is also available; masks required. No indoor or outdoor dining. Overall, I felt that they followed COVID-19 protocols and created a safe environment. My partner and I were just getting take out dimsum from a place nearby and we chanced upon this boba place. I've never heard of it, but following great reviews we made our way here. We got the lychee yakult foam, the peach oolong, and the peach tea with yakult foam. It was amazing!!!!!! Honestly one of the best boba places I've tried all around. The lychee had lychee chunks that they blended very rough, but it's chunky and delicious. The cups are also very thick and feels great to hold in the hand without having to worry it'll burst in the car's cup holder. I have been to this place twice already, and have enjoyed their drinks both time. Their famous Purple Yam milk drink was super delicious. You can definitely taste the purple yam. Even though the color made me suspect that they either used some powder or food coloring, the drink surprisingly did not taste powdery at all and tasted like they actually blended in lots of purple yam into it. It's a very rich and filling drink, so if you are looking for something refreshing, it might not be the right drink for you. I also tried the Dalgona coffee milk tea, and it was super rich as well. In case you don't know that Dalgona is, it is basically a thick cream made out of coffee powder and sugar; almost like a coffee wiped cream. So they put that on top of their regular milk tea. But be careful, the caffeine content of that drink was super strong. I totally couldn't sleep that night and was up until 4 am! Overall, I would definitely come back to this place again whenever I am in the area, albeit, staying away from the Dalgona Milk tea if I want to sleep in that night =) read more

I got their Purple Yam Fresh Milk with Boba & Pudding and it was phenomenal. I've been ordering purple yam at multiple boba places lately and this one is by fat the best one. Very flavorful and had a fairly thick consistency, as it should be, and was not watered down or anything like how other places would be. [ COVID REVIEW ] Officially one of my new go-to favorite boba places in the 626. I've been here 3 times so far and my first time here I ordered the White Peach Oolong Tea that my friend recommended and 10/10 would really recommend. You can really taste the tea flavor with a subtle hint of the peach which I personally really love the balance of. Most tea places would have too much syrup and then the tea flavor would be lacking so the whole drink would just be too sweet. My 2nd time here I got the White Peach Oolong Tea with Cheese Foam and this really changed the cheese foam game for me. I love cheese foam but I would usually prefer to have my drinks sealed when I get cheese foam so that I can mix the whole drink together. But for this place, I drank it sip by sip and the cheese foam really pairs well with the tea so it was perfect drinking it just the way it was. The next time I come back (which is soon) I would definitely try out their Yakult foam drinks because it sounded super interesting! ***UPDATE 1/18/2021*** I came back to try the yakult foam with the white peach oolong and it wasn't that great which I'm very sad about. I think the consistency of the yakult foam is just a lot thicker than the cheese foam so it didn't mix well or pair well with the drink. I don't drink coffee very often, but it wasn't too sweet or bitter. It's such a cute shop! I loved the aesthetic, everything to the logo, cups, mood lighting, and colors was adorable. Both the drinks I ordered to share were great. The peach I added lychee chunks, which made for an enjoyable and delicious drinking experience. I'd never had yakult foam before, so I tried it by itself before mixing it in. It's just as lovely and tangy as the little yogurt drinks. In the lychee tea drink I added boba, which wasn't bad, but I should have added lychee chunks instead. The difference in textures between the lychee in the tea and tapioca balls was too jarring, to me. But my husband loved it! I also order for pickup through the ordering feature on Yelp! It made it really easy to pickup my order and be on my way. Really happy we stopped in and would love to try other drinks as well! *Also if you're a " tactile person" like me, you'll love the feel and texture of the cups. Pineapple with yogurt foam (less sugar) - ice isn't adjustable on this drink since the yogurt was blended with crushed ice. I liked it at first, but once I drank the tea, I was left with yogurt !! It was alright at first, but I started getting sick of it, especially cause it was a hot day. Maybe I needed to mix the drink more ? Plus I try to order what the store specializes in although they have other good sounding drinks as well. My thought when I took my first few sips of the Purple Yam Fresh Milk drink - hmm this is unique for sure and I don't know if I'll order it again but I can probably finish this drink. Since I got 50% sugar, the taste was probably muted but you can definitely taste the purple yam flavor which is good. My problem was that the milk flavor was strong and fought with the purple yam flavor for your attention. My next problem is that after drinking this for 15 minutes, I started to have a stomach ache. I can usually handle dairy well but this drink was doing something to me. As I write this review, I'm starting to crave this place again. It's definitely not for everyone, however everytime I get it, the yam is sooo addicting and I never get tired of it. I've tried their purple yam with milk (the #1) and their purple yam smoothie, and at first I would only get the purple yam with milk because I wouldn't want to try something new because it was so good. Once I tried the smoothie though, it's basically the same thing but blended so EVEN BETTER. More creamy yam flavor in every sip! I did try their peach tea drink, but it was alright. The lychee tea with yogurt form is super refreshing and it tasted like yakult with the yogurt foam. I don't think I've heard of boba shops making yogurt foam but I'm a fan. Definitely want to come back in the future to try their other fruity teas! They have pineapple and peach which I'm excited to try. Yellllppp! Why you do? It's rare that you steer me wrong, but this was one of those times. Ordered the PURPLE YAM FRESH MILK WITH BOBA & PUDDING, AND LYCHEE TEA WITH YAKULT FOAM. It's an interesting tea shop location since this place changes into different tea shop pretty frequently. When I entered, I was hit with a blast of bleach/disinfectant smell. I don't particularly mind it since it's COVID and all, but it is noticeable. Menu is relatively simple since it seems this place really only specializes on their purple yam drink or their flavored foam. I'm also fine with the short menu, I mean look and In-n-Out. My issue is with the taste of the drink. If you're into purple yam (or for you Filipinos, ube) this place should be heaven. However, the flavor of ube was similar to eating a dessert, rather than drinking a boba drink. Perhaps the person making my tea thought I would enjoy having an ube smoothie? The drink part seemed like it was an after thought. The only way I described it to my party was that it tasted like a blended up halo-halo cake in condensed milk. Lychee Tea was a bit better, but I didn't find it exceptionally good. Saw this show up to check out & thought why not? I got the Peach Tea with Yakut foam. It's different from other boba shops since they have the foam & I thought it added a little "pizazz" to the drink. I really like the fruit chunks they had at the boba & the sweet foam at the top. I do admit though that there's a lot going on in one cup (kind of like why change a good thing type of vibe). It's definitely interesting & not something that I'd get everyday. Maybe if I was in a fruity mode, I'd come back to this place. The boba itself is a bit chewy, so depending on how you like your boba, you'd either like it or not. I'd say give this place a try and try one of their top 8 drinks. I'd come back to try their pineapple drink but I wouldn't say this would be my "go-to" boba places. read more

Moo Tea is pretty good. I got the purple yam milk with cheese foam at about 50% sugar and lychee tea with yogurt foam. The drinks use those cups where you sip on your drink so you can get a little bit of foam mixed with your drink. I prefer to use the straw though but too bad I couldn't mix it with the lid designs. Both drinks were high quality and not overwhelmingly sweet. You could taste the yam and fresh lychee taste in each and it was not watered down. Boba was also really flavorful as well as the foams. The green tea combined with the yogurt foam was a good combination. This place is definitely one of my new favorite places to get tasty drinks. read more

I picked up the regular purple yam drink during their BOGO 50% off deal, which lasts through August, and I'm surprised how much I like it. If you know the taste of purple yam, this tastes exactly like it. Sometimes, when other places sell their purple yam or ube drinks, I question if they even know what that tastes like. This drink is mixed with milk ( be careful if you're lactose intolerant), and when you first get it, you'll see a beautiful swirl of purple colors against the white milk. Currently one of my favorite boba spots to visit because of the peach tea with yakult foam. You can taste an equal balance of the yakult and the tea. I love the little pieces of peach in the drink. While this is my number one drink, the lychee tea with yakult foam is a close second. I've also tried the milkshake version of the peach yakult, which is good but doesn't beat the peach tea. The strawberry yakult milkshake was not very impressive, as it had a very light strawberry flavor. After having tried them, I would skip on the milkshakes especially because they don't even have fruit pieces in them like their pictures. The matcha latte is pretty good and their boba is ok. I can't help but keep coming here to use the stamp cards (buy 10 drinks, then get 1 free). I've already completed two of them and am close to completing my third one! Service is always quick. It was between del taco or this & I'm happy that we chose this. We came around 7:30p & it was only 1 group of people ahead of us. The gentleman who attended us was very attentive & patient with us. I ordered the purple yam with soy milk & added boba. My husband ordered the purple yam smoothie with cheese foam. This was our first time having purple yam. While we were waiting we were noticing how both the cashier & the barista were working. They were very fast pace while still maintaining a clean work area & washing their hands constantly while still attending the new customers with great customer service. We were very impressed.
