House Pho with everything
Gary K.

5 minutes to noon on a Sunday, and we were already grabbing the last available table. And a line quickly formed.... So it felt pretty rushed. The tables around us were given their bills even while they were still slurping away. But except for the pressure to eat quickly, this should have been 5 star experience. The broth in the House Pho was amazing - deeply beefy and pho-spicy flavored. Dissolve the raw egg yolk in (my wife didn't want in her Pho Hanoi) and it reaches an unctuousness that just goes beyond.

Miss Pho is easily my favorite pho spot in Seattle so far. I got the Pho House with rare steak, brisket, meatballs, tendon, and tripe. The broth was rich and comforting without being overly salty, the meat was tender, and the portion size was super filling. The restaurant was packed when I went and we waited around 30-40 minutes, but it's worth the wait. The service was still nice despite how busy they were. I would definitely come again!

Miss Pho in Seattle is... okay, and this might be a bit of a hot take. The pho is decent. Not bad, but not something I'd go out of my way for. The broth leans noticeably sweet, which some people may enjoy, but it does suggest a bit of a shortcut compared to more traditional styles. The standout was the beef rib. It was delicious and a real showstopper, but at $28, it feels hard to justify. Service was great. The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant will likely do very well given its location and the crowd it attracts. That said, for the price and overall quality, there are many better options across the Seattle metro. As someone Vietnamese, I thought it was solid but not especially memorable. I can see why it appeals to a more Western or newer pho audience, and that's fine, it clearly fills a niche. Would I come back? Maybe if someone suggested it, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Amazing food! I loved the pho here. Any of the options are great I also had a nice beef salad! The service is quick and there was a lot of people here which shows how popular it is! Its got a motorcycle in the middle of the dining area which gives you a glimpse to how prevalent they are in vietnam. Overall ambiance is nice!

My husband went shopping today and came home with dinner... Miss Pho on Holman Road. OMG!!! If you like Calamari... this place is a must! Large pieces of calamari and some sweet and sour sauce.. even without the sauce, it is F'n amazing delicious!!!... he also brought home for me chicken pho with chicken broth!!! This place rocks- my husband reported that the place was super busy, both with seated customers and people picking up and delivery... the atmosphere nice interior, small place but they table seating and counter seat, decor was simple but comfortable... unfortunately he didn't take pictures, and the calamari went down so fast I almost thought we forgot to order it(LOL)

Great place up north!! This is kinda a hidden gem in north Seattle and I totally get the hype. There's always a lot of people here so plan ahead of time. Been here twice now and both times were great. They serve some of the best Vietnamese food I had in Seattle and would come back again!

Tra Thai Thai Tea

Great cozy little restaurant with a cool looking scooter in the middle. Great pop music and all around cheerful and fun vibes from the staff. Service - (5/5) Thai iced tea $7 - (5/5) Great taste with heavy tea flavor as it should be. I love that you can choose either half and half or coconut milk. It's creamy and sweet but not too sweet. Pho Hanoi $20 - (5/5) This is different pho than your usual pho in that they add an egg yolk on top, put plenty of garlic sprouts and crispy garlic on the side which I thoroughly enjoy. The soup is light yet it tastes really good and flavorful. All the ingredients tastes fresh and delicious. I would give this place 5 stars but I think the price point is high for what is offered. At the time of this writing its $20 for the pho Hanoi

Got the veggie pho and the miss pho special. My partner loved the miss pho special and it's was great value. The veggie broth was not bad but nothing special. The service was fast and friendly. It's a very busy atmosphere so it feels a little rushed while eating. Also psa if u bring ur children to a restaurant pls don't have them watch cartoons at full blast, ruins the atmosphere of the restaurant

Tofu Veggie Pho

I have tried veggie pho at a few restaurants in the area, and all have been very good albeit a bit bland. Miss Pho is by far the best I've had because the complexity of flavors. The mushroom base brings so much umami and richness. They also load it up with lots of veggies (carrot, broccoli, onion, and cabbage) and tofu and a smaller portion of noodles which I really appreciated.

The Thai Tea here was sooooooo delicious...might've been one of the best Thai Teas I've had and I've tried many. This place sure gets busy for a reason! We waited about 15 minutes for a table and once seated we were greeted by a friendly waitress who answered all of our questions kindly. The service was quick, efficient, and the employees had great communication between each other and with customers. The ambiance was bright and welcoming with everyone just minding their business and enjoying good food. I ordered the Miss Pho Special and my man ordered the Beef Rib Pho. Portions were very large and everything was super tasty! We were extremely pleased. We shared a Thai Iced Tea which was soooo delicious and best part of the meal for me. I would come back just for the tea alone! Parking lot was easy to navigate next to the grocery store with plenty of free parking. I would definitely return and recommend Miss Pho!

Garlic Butter Wings

Enjoyed the breading on the Garlic butter wings-- crispy, and hot! I found myself squeezing lime juice on it. Solid pho Ha Noi, liked the addition of a yolk and pickled garlic; $20 for a bowl of pho tho I'd go back for the chicken wings and I want to try the mango drink...!

Miss Pho is a real treat! Wanted to try it out myself since I've heard good things. I got to meet the owner, and he was very sweet and welcoming. The coffee was pretty unique, and i quite liked the flavor (and it was strong) The pho was great, very rich and savory broth. The side veggies were also super fresh as well! I'd definitely come back for another meal here.

Food - I got the chicken pho small but the portions are huge. They do not skimp in the chicken. Broth is flavorful. Service - very friendly. Excellent service despite being insanely busy. Ambiance - expect a line. We waited almost an hour for a party of 6. It's pretty small inside so it was hard to find a table that could seat us.

A tiny place with big portion and authentic food…read more We came here on a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was almost fully packed. I had my all time favorite dish at a Hong Kong café cuisine, gon caau ngau ho (乾炒牛河), aka beef chow fun, along with a childhood favorite drink, iced Horlicks. I liked how everything moved at a quick pace here and yet the staff were still friendly. The best part was that no one stopped by to ask how the food was while your mouth was full, because they already knew the food was good. The beef chow fun was just as good as the ones back home. It was savory and full of wok hei (iykyk). The bean sprouts were added at just the right time, so they were still a slightly crunchy. The sliced beef was tender too. If you like adding extra spice, be sure to try the crunchy chili sauce on the table. It was awesome, fragrant, spicy, and full of flavor. Just be careful not to choke on it, I did, and it wasn't fun. I hadn't had Horlicks in twenty years, and the first sip brought back so many memories. Be sure to stir it well and maybe wait until the ice melts a little, otherwise it may be slightly too sweet. My partner is a vegetarian. He looked through the entire menu and said there weren't many things he could order (listen, people, choose your future SO accordingly if you like sharing big meat dishes). He ended up ordering the curry vegetable rice and added a fried egg. He said the curry was delicious. I tried a bite of it and agreed. I think there may have some coconut milk in it because it was rich and creamy. The rice was a little too dry to my liking. Sitting there and listening to the background music from the Hong Kong TV news, I felt like a kid again.

Quick service, free hot tea in plastic cups (a classic), and chili oil at the table. Ask for white pepper btw! Depending on your taste, I like adding white pepper to my fried rice, chow fun, and soup. Wonton soup: the wontons are huge and filled with pork and shrimp. The soup however was kind of sour? Not sure what they added in, but the flavor of the broth was not my favorite. There's so much good wonton soup in the area! I wish this broth was better and more savory. Beef chow fun: pretty tasty and the beef was pretty tender. There was no work hei, so didn't have that distinct flavor Half chicken bone in: this was surprisingly our favorite dish! Steamed chicken with a ginger oil. The ginger made this dish and the chicken was very tender. The chicken comes cold so eat it with some rice and it's the perfect combo

The Chow Mein had a wonderful Wok Hei flavor and the chicken was juicy and tender. It was our favorite of the dishes. The Mixed Basket Xiao Long Bao was super fun to be able to try them all and pick your favorites. Mine was the wagyu beef, the original pork and the truffle. I was kind of sad that they didn't include soy vinegar and chili oil. I feel that those things enhance the Xiao Long Bao. The Lychee Sweet & Sour Pork Tenderloin I was most excited about. Unfortunately, it was the worst dish. The flavor was great. I love that it had lychee in it, but the breading was mush, and the pork was so hard and overcooked. It was inedible. Because of that dish and not including the condiments is my three star review.

The wontons were good, but the chili sauce was the star. It was numbing and a little minty feeling. It was really great over the fried rice, which didn't stand out to me but was good to pair the dishes with. The crab and pork soup dumplings were sooo tasty, I would definitely get them again. The prawns we got were also great, I really enjoyed the crunchy coating and extras that came with it. I really enjoyed the space and food, I will definitely be coming back!

I had been meaning to check Tai Tung out, and having a group is a great opportunity to try a variety of dishes family style. We ordered the fried chicken wings, half peking duck, beef chow fun, beef in oyster sauce (Bruce Lee's favorite), crab fried rice, and noodles with tofu (one girl had to be healthy!) The food was solid and nostalgic. It reminded me of the kind of Chinese food I would get in the 80s and 90s when we went out for Chinese food in New Jersey. We stayed, talking, until the restaurant closed. As my friends packed up and said their goodbyes, the staff noticed me looking around at the different tables. I wanted to find Bruce Lee's favorite table, which I had seen on online reviews of Tai Tung. The staff member very proudly brought us all into the next room, turned on the lights, showed us the photos on the wall, and told us about the history. We got a history and culture lesson with our meal. Best of all, our friends all congratulated me on the "great find!" of a restaurant, and isn't that the kind of validation every Yelper wants?
