We ordered pollo ai formaggi and linguine di marre as our main dishes. Both dishes were generous in portion. But that's where it stops. The pollo ai formaggi was bland - no real depth in flavors. The linguine di marre came with jumbo shrimps, baby scallops and squid. The slightly spicy tomato sauce was actually very sweet tasting and had no flavor - I had to add lots of salt to make it somewhat flavorful. The Jumbo shrimp was just okay, the scallops and squid tasted like it was from a pre-packaged seafood mix. Service felt extremely rushed for a $$$ cozy, romantic restaurant - we never got our water glasses refilled. When we got our burratta salad and our main dishes I was hoping they'd offer fresh ground pepper, but alas no. I even had an empty pepper mill that i asked to be filled-hint, hint, but they just gave me back one that had I could use. There was couple on a birthday dinner asking if there's any special meal, the waiter instead of letting them know there wasn't just rambled off today's dinner special. He also seemed very impatient when recommending wine. He may have been the only waiter for inside seating; but nevertheless, he gave off a very rushed vibe and just didn't want to stay at your table any longer than absolutely necessary - I think all of us would have been fine him taking more time with each customer since we're not a fast food restaurant. Towards the end of our meal when he brought our check he asked how our meal was and as soon as we said the typical, "It was fine..." he was off before I could actually tell him anything more. What seemed like a minute later he came to check on the bill to see if we were ready to pay - again a rushed vibe. That's when I looked at the bill and found out the bread wasn't free. I don't have an issue of paying for bread, but it would have been nice to let us know up front, given many fine dining restaurants offer complimentary bread. Also, don't expect (fountain) soda refills to be free, it's not. Lastly, when I was paying instead of handing over the payment device to add tip he held it tightly in his hand and would not let go for me - felt like he was brooding over to make sure he got a good tip. For the high price of our meal, rushed service, bland taste, certainly not worth going back, again.

After ordering, you seat yourself and they call your name when the food is ready. We had no problem finding a table for two. There seemed to be a lot of takeout orders coming through. Both pastas tasted fresh and were cooked al dente, just as advertised. The carbonara was creamy and flavorful. The short rib itself was good, but the pasta and sauce were a bit separated, so the pasta didn't absorb as much flavor as I expected. The cannoli was very filling and had a hint or orange in it. Overall, it's a good spot if you're looking for quick, customizable pasta. Just keep in mind that it's more of a fast-casual place rather than a full sit-down service restaurant.

For those short of time and live with no adventure I'll cut to the chase. The food is exquisite…read more For the rest, please read on. This last week while traveling for business to Seattle I had the pleasure of dining at Mezzanote. Their name of course implies it is an Italian restaurant but what you don't realize until you have sat and initiated your meal is that you, regardless of choice are embarking on a beautiful tribute to Northern Italian cuisine. At first arrival, the immediate impression is one of modest presentation but friendly and very inviting ambience. The staff, including our Server Marcus was attentive and had impeccable timing to read the table and flow of those joined in the meal. Check back was perfect and his service support was equally in tune with the other tables on the patio where we sat. Now this is what you have been waiting for... The food and I mean, we had almost one of every item on the menu and every dish was simply delicious. Tastes that were balanced and never overwhelming, but truly inspired dishes that your taste buds understand that the food was made with care and meant to satisfy even the toughest of pallets. Let's start with the house focaccia and ask for the disco sauce to dip your bread. It was a tummy satisfying start but then they dropped the focaccia regala and with the cheeses melted in a medley that left me thankful I was as they say "hungry as a hostage" because the meal had just begun. The next appetizer brought out was the Carote... This medley of carrots smoked with a Chile Honey Glaze left this BBQ born and raised Mexican wondering why ?? And then I had my first forkful and any doubt that I had about the chef creating something sacrilegious by smoking carrots left me, as the flavors were amazing. For a moment I forgot I was eating my vegetables.. where was this when I was a younger man. On to the main courses and the Reginette was first up. This Bolognese was a hearty blend of flavor and subtlety as it wasn't overly anything except satisfying. The Braciola Dia Miaale was a durock pork chop with a rhubar mostarda and salsify puree with asparagus that could not have been better. You didn't have to be a pork chop fan to enjoy this at all. Every dish that arrived was better than the one before. The Bucatini C'Anciuova, Prawns with Calabrian Chile, anchovies, tomatoe and orange zest was a delight and I don't normally eat anything overly spicy. This was a balance of heat with a twist of tang that the orange zest delivered flawlessly. Allow me to share that it is imperative you save room for dessert. Their tiramisu taste as if there is some Italian grandmother locked away in a pastry room kicking these out. They have other desserts to be sure, but this is the star of the show in my opinion. For those of you that are wine enthusiast, they did have a wine list that was impressive. All in all, for those that follow me, you know that it is a rarity for me to give any place I visit five stars from the first visit. Consistency is premium in my book. But as I mentioned to one of our fellow diners. This food is amazing, and the reality is each of these dishes could be served in a five-star venue layered with opulence and still the food would outshine the location. The only drawback was there was no Coke Zero... Damn it ...Turns out though that can be a pretty tough find in the city of Seattle in all the restaurants. For one that does not participate in alcohol or wine, my taste buds were not underserved and I survived without my Zero. This place is a go-to for any Italian yearning for authentic Italian food made with love. That's the only way I can describe just how good the food is. This isn't something that is prepared in volume for the masses. The chef and that team are simply serving with their hearts and it resonates with every bite. I'll be back, again and again. Oh and should you find yourself needing to go to the restroom. Ask for the Disco restroom.. that alone is worth the drive... Lol until next time Mezzanote! Thank you for a wonderful meal.

I love this place! I've been coming here for a couple years now, off and on for lunch and dinner. Their pizzas are fanstic. The crust is amazing with just enough blistering. It's thin, crackly and chewy with just the right amount of char from their wood fired oven. They have excellent appetizers including Hood Canal Clams, Bresaola, salumi platters, Heirloom tomato caprese, roasted veggies, etc... Everything comes out of their wood fired oven! Here's the best part of all - They now have a Full Bar! My server convinced me to try one of their signature cocktails, Italin Valium. It was unbelievable! Ice cold vodka shaken with just a dash of Frangelico. Not sweet at all. The Frangelico just softend the vodka and left a nice hazlenut finish. It was so good. I sipped my cocktail, nibbled on oven roasted Cece (chickpeas) and waited for my friend to arrive for dinner. We stayed in the bar and had their Oven Roasted Clams, Caesar and split a pizza. The service was great. Friendly and neighborly. Our server was able to answer all our questions and made excellent recommendations. This pizzeria & bar is the coziest and tastiest place to be. This place is simply awesome. The staff are the best and have provided some of the greatest service I've ever experienced at any restaurant or cafe. It's to the point now, too, that a few of them know me by name, haha. Whether it's in the morning for b-fast and coffee or at night for happy hour brews or some dinner, this is a great place to go. The interior is very sleek, the coffee is the best I've ever had, their b-fast sandwiches and pizzas are the absolute BOMB (all wood-fire cooked, by the way). We got the medium Cesar salad which was the perfect size to share for a party of 3. It had a very light dressing but still a pretty decent salad. We also ordered the bar mussels which we enjoyed, they were just very difficult to open, but the sauce and the bread were incredible! We also ordered two 8" pizzas to share: pepperoni and la calabria, both delicious!!! We just loved the bread and crust. They were also really fast with brining out the food which we appreciated because we had to catch a flight. We all really enjoyed it and would come back! Their happy hour menu is also one of the best!

Word on the street said the sandwiches sell out early but I guess we got lucky because they still had some left. My partner and I both got the TAB - turkey, apple, Brie, provolone, hot honey (not really that hot), arugula, and a mustard spread on (what I think was) focaccia bread. The sandwiches came out fast and were delicious. They also have a really cute single stall bathroom. Perfect little spot to stop in for a quick bite.

When we arrived there was only one other patron but within about 5 minutes of ordering there were a ton of people in the restaurant. We ordered our slices and snagged a table outside while they heated everything up. The pizza was perfectly thin and exceptionally made. It was vey relaxing to sit outside in a quiet area enjoying the views and chatting while we ate. I highly recommend the salame peperoncini with grates cheese on top. Don't forget the drizzle of hot honey! Service was kind enough but to be honest we didn't talk much other than to order and he was pretty nice.

Anyway, I ended up getting the corned beef hash because I love a hash. But I read about the French toast, so I got a single slice of that as well. (How cool is it that you can do that!) The special French toast flavor was honey peach, which seemed odd for the fall, but that's just me. The hash was tasty and the French toast was fantastic! I had never had crispy French toast before, and so that was unique. Because of the crispness, I think a sharper knife would have been better for cutting it. My spouse got a single pumpkin pancake, which was so good. Jam packed with pumpkin flavor! They limit parties to 90 minutes, but the service is so quick that you won't need that long.

They do a rotating special on the flavor so they had pumpkin pancakes and blueberry compote french toast. I'm pretty sure it's geared towards Amazon employees mostly. It was busy when we got there around 1pm but they still had all their flavors. The place is very small and crowded but there's a lot of seating in the commons area. We got: Fun guy, beef, and the tango --- the crust was probably my favorite. It was crispy but still had a nice chew. Unfortunately It was a little inconsistent, some parts was burned while others taste more like crackers. Flavors was interesting but very mild, it needs to be stronger. Definitely need to warm it up before eating as the crust was very chewy before warmed up Prices are ok at around $7-8 per slice. Overall, it was just average for me
