Unfailingly fantastic staff and delicious brunch and pizza. Although I'm sure the rest of the brunch food is delicious, I'm stuck on the Morning Hash. They recently started offering Dutch Babies and my only regret is they don't offer a savory version, as it might be easier to tear myself away from the hash. There is no better Bloody Mary, anywhere. Mio Posto also knows that potatoes belong on pizza! Also recently stopped in for happy hour with friends and enjoyed delicious bar mussels (get some rosemary flatbread or the house baked bread to go with and soak up the juices). It is much easier to come here on weekends now with Lake Washington Boulevard being open to biking and walking on summer weekends, so my only complaint is they could have a larger and better bike rack, as that is the main way I get here. (Although the bus route 14 stops just steps away, too.) I almost always sit outside as it's right across from a park and a great place to people watch. The inside is cozy wood and brick, so maybe now that I have rediscovered it I will come back for some winter meals. Bottom line, all my visits have delivered great food and friendly staff. All pizzas here are 12" open-flame pizzas. Mussels Tartufo -- 1/2 lb of local Penn Cove mussels roasted over an open flame with butter, garlic, grana, and truffle oil, served with freshly baked bread. The mussels tasted a little fishy to me, but the baked bread was honestly my favorite part of the dish. It was airy, warm, and a decent size. Simple, but so good, especially dipped into the leftover garlic butter sauce from the mussels. Clam Bake Pizza -- whole roasted Hood Canal clams, pancetta, mozzarella, garlic, onion, chili flakes, parsley, and grana on a house-made white clam sauce base. Unfortunately, I didn't have the same great experience with this flavor as everyone else seems to. The clams didn't seem cleaned very well. I had two slices, and both had either shell fragments or sand in them, which created an unpleasant crunchy texture. It was also a bit too salty for my taste and felt slightly overpriced. That said, the crust itself was amazing. Spring Lamb Pizza -- lamb sausage, mozzarella, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, red onion, chili flakes, and fresh mint on a basil-mint salsa verde base. This one had great texture and flavor overall, though I wish there had been a little more sausage. I especially loved the fresh mint. Once again, the crust was phenomenal. I haven't been to this restaurant since before the pandemic. I remember it being delicious so when my group wanted to go to them again, I was all for it. The food was so good. I had the lunch special which was pizza and a salad. I ordered the Pinocchio pizza with the beet salad. I'm a newcomer to beets and I have to say this was a good salad, with feta cheese, the sauce and the nuts, lettuce, it was a good bite. Very refreshing. The service was great. Our server was so engaging and so thoughtful and patient as our group was deciding what to order. This is a great looking restaurant with the outdoor patio and the bay windows from the restaurant so even though you may be sitting inside, you get all the freshness of sitting outside so I would definitely go back to this place again. read more

But Mioposto is so cozy (without being cramped), classy-cute (without being kitschy) , and absolutely delicious. A really well curated menu of classics and signature items. What an amazing place! My mom and I came here on NYE and even though there was a little bit of a wait (15 mins ish) it was well worth it! My mom has been here before and wanted me to try out their bread with olive oil. But she had me dip with clam and omg sooooo good! We had 3 orders of bread plus steak! Everything was soooooo good! That's for just one person...however, the salad was huge. I took half home. (my photo makes it looks smaller, but it was as big or bigger than the pizza). Add another drink and what I ordered could've fed two people. My pizza could've used some more color. .I prefer a little more char on the crust, especially a wood fired pizza. However, my 8" happy hour pizza was closer to 11" inches? So maybe I shouldn't be picky. It was a lot of food. Admittedly, I still get sticker shock from food prices in the Seattle area. So this tends to affect my opinion. I honestly don't know if I could afford to eat here if it wasn't happy hour. And even at happy hour prices...$50 with tip is a lot to spend on myself. $50 can buy a lot of dim sum. oh yeah, almost forgot. I've been to Mioposto more times than I can count and always have a lovely time so I figured it was time to leave a review! Staff at this location are so kind and attentive and remember you after only a couple visits. It's just a very welcoming and warm atmosphere which adds to my experience every time. Ambience is cozy and comfortable, both when it's on the quieter side and when it's packed. I love coming here in the winter and when it's colder because of how cozy it is but it's also great in the warmer months! Food and drinks! They have an amazing happy hour which I would highly recommend, it's nice to order a bunch of things and share. Some personal favorites: the ceci, the bread (very good with the clams, which I'm not normally a fan of!), the pinocchio, pepperoni pintura, the spring lamb, the garnet salad, and the apple crostata. Lovely neighborhood pizza joint with a community feel. We sat at the larger bench and shared with another family. Food was great and had fun conversation with friends and strangers. The Melanzane- roasted Eggplant with fresh mozzarella, fresh arugula, basil mint pesto drizzle was very refreshing. A great vegan dish to share and start a meal. The Fig and Prosciutto pizza was one of the best pizza I have had. Combination of the sweet fig and salty prosciutto strike a perfect balance with a hint of sourness from the balsamic glaze. After a disaster with the restaurant I'd been excited FOR MONTHS to have for Valentine's Day dinner, I found Miposto. Thank goodness. They're offering both curbside and indoor pick up right now, so we opted for curbside. Ordered online, which was very straightforward. Antipasto--eggplant was cold, underseasoned, unappetizing. Prosciutto, tapenade, arugula, goat cheese, two big pieces of bread--all good. THE DRIED YET MOIST FRUIT WITH PINE NUTS?! F&$# ME that stuff is incredible. Steak was absolutely perfect, the juices, the gorgonzola, the side of fresh arugula... Just ::chef's kiss:: They serve the arugula salad in three sizes. I got a tiny lemon wedge, despite ordering the largest size plus 2 oz chicken, which before tax is 18 dollars and change. I'm not sure why I have to explain this, but a larger salad needs more lemon. Elementary, my dear Watson. Once I provided my own acidity, I was better able to taste this salad as intended. It is fresh and really delicious. We had to wait a bit at the curb despite ordering hours ahead of time, and either for that or the holiday they tossed in a bottle of wine. Epic service win. We'll be back for sure! read more

The clams and mussels were both enjoyable, especially the sauce the mussels were in. The sauce for the clams needed more of tge alcohol in the wine cooked off. Good lord the dough here is so soft and fluffy. Reminds me of naan but way better. Their dough alone made me give them 5 stars, and everything else they're doing is such extra credit at this point. Personal favorite is the spring lamb. My girlfriend loves the zucca balsamica which is also good! Awesome thing is that both of these two options are on the happy hour which I attached pictures of. Pretty worth it for $11 each to try a variety and quality, but definitely on the higher end for cost of 8" pies. The clam bake is a bit salty for me but otherwise an honorable mention. Unfortunately not on the happy hour :(. Happy hour is at 4-6 pm so definitely come then! Cute spot which is small and good for an intimate setting. Staff is attentive and friendly. Definitely recommended!! Update: this pizza does not reheat in the microwave well unfortunately. Nothing against them but may not be the best choice to bring to work. My ultimate favorite pizza place ever! I talk about the prosciutto e arugula pizza to everyone and anyone. This place makes the best one and no other place has changed my mind! Usually I hate getting the tomato pizza sauce (sorry I forgot what it's called) and I get like garlic or white sauce, but it's so light on the pizza and it is bursting with flavor. The crust on here is easy to eat. The way they make the pizza is so thin and easy to eat and everything goes well with each-other. My mouth is watery as I am writing this!! Our service was okay. It took awhile for them to get to us and no one was really attentive with us so we had to be one of those annoying customers that have to get their attention. I think I would only stick with the pizza here. Our other seafood dishes were okay. I've had better and for cheaper. The calamari did not go well with the sauce they had. We seated ourselves outside at Miposto Pizzeria, which is located in a quiet area surrounded by parks (but not much else). Our waitress was new but very friendly and attentive. We ordered two pizzas, their le patate (potato and truffle oil) and the margherita. The location is quaint and the food is quality but here's a few things to consider: - pizza: delicious for a brick oven style artisan - service: varies - we've had great service for the majority but can be hit or miss - takeout: this is the larger reason for the three star rating. Don't order a salad larger than a small... I've ordered their beet salad (delicious) a few times on takeout and have received a box FULL of Romain, sprinkled lightly with beet slices and minimal goat cheese. Enough Romain to make me question if they fit a whole bag in my to-go box. If you're going to charge $20 for a large beet salad... make it $20 quality. This was maybe worth $7.
