( have gone to this place multiple times since they opened in West Seattle and have loved it every time. If you have not been before, this place uses a self-service model. When you enter the restaurant, the kiosk is front and center, and you place your order on the touch screens. There are typically 4 types of pasta to choose from, and about 4 sauces. There are salads and sides that you can add to the pasta. I love burrata, and so that was my add-on. The kitchen is always in full swing, with lots of activity, and is open to the public for viewing as they prepare meals. When your meal/order is ready, your name appears on the screen, and one of the employees calls your name. Seating is available after you place your order, and water is self-service as well. I love the cost-reducing atmosphere of the place. The place is well lit, and the staff is pleasant and helpful. I had pesto sauce with spaghetti and a salad. The pasta was supposed to be al dente, but came to the table cold, with a bit of a crunch and a sticky-to-the-tooth texture. This really did take away from the meal. The burrata was okay, but it seemed to be better prepared when they first opened. Again, this is a place I have come to look forward to, and I enjoyed the previous menu. Also, the website menu does not match the in-store menu at all. Because I love the neighborhood vibe of the place and the no-nonsense model they use, I have to go back to see if they can recapture what got my attention when they first opened. Tried this place out and it was descent! It is cafeteria style so when you walk in you can either ask the waiter at the cashier or order through a kiosk. We decided to get the truffle mushroom pasta and the Cacio e Pepe. The mushroom pasta was good not amazing same as the cacio e Pepe. I would say the noodles on both dishes were a little too al dente. We also ordered a side of beef meatballs which were delicious and a side salad and focaccia bread. I would have passed on the focaccia bread. Food was good the pasta is a little al dente which is what I like and it has a chewier texture to it. My favorite was the ragu pasta ans the pesto but I just wish they added more tomato's too it, but over all everything was good. The ambiance there is cute and the location is nice they have both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was good. We were there when it wasn't there rush hour time. Not necessarily custom pasta, but they do have six noodles to choose from, not including lasagna and ravioli. 11 sauces/pre set pasta combinations, and a hand full of add ons but I still feel like with those options to some people with dietary restrictions it's a bit limiting. But I did like the quality and taste both visits! I give the pasta noodles 4 stars and the sauces 3/3.5 stars. You order at the touch screen computer up front, or at the cashier on the side. You find a seat get utensil's- napkin's, they'll call your name to pick up to take to your seat or to go! You also are appreciated if you clean your table, by putting away your dishes in the dish pit and garbage-recycle-compost bins. I tried the smoked salmon with casarecce and the sauce was more flavorful than I thought it would be, a little salty but not overwhelming. The fresh noodles and spinach tamed the salted salmon cream flavor. Loved the delicate chew with the noodles. The second time I tried the Mushroom Truffle & White Oil, with the oil on the side suggested by the friendly cashier. I originally wanted Cacio E Pepe with mushrooms but it wasn't an option. It wasn't bad I kind of liked it more with the oil, it gave more of a punch of flavor. The mushrooms were not my vibe. After a while I just couldn't eat them. They didn't give a as freshly made vibe as the noodles did. They also have some wine's and beers, I liked the cider they had. Service is friendly, they do ask if you need help with ordering but that's about it. I did hear a server ask another table if they enjoyed their food- just not us. The arancini ball was probably the best thing I hate out of all dishes, it was hot and had more flavorful than anything else. The ragu was fine, there was plenty of short rib but it lacked basic seasoning. My partner got the house salad and the agio sauce- also bland and needed seasoning. Good first experience overall. I was in between 4 and 5 stars really. I got the braised beef short rib gluten free pasta. It was delicious! The beef had great flavor and it was the 2nd best gluten free pasta I've had. My only complaint is that I paid 1.50 for extra cheese and the size of it is puny. I mean. Nothing seemed properly seasoned. We got the burrata which was ok but again no salt only a meager amount of pepper. I got the Cacio a Pepe and had barely any pepper, but very salt forward. Hubs got the carbonara and it also needed seasoning. We even got a bottle of white wine (only $20 so that was a plus) but it also came out room temp. Sadly, we've noticed a decline in quality here in the last few months, and we'd been eating here quite regularly. The last straw was a visit in December '25, just before the holidays, mid month, which left me and my dining companion with food poisoning. Everything tasted off, and we tried to overlook, but by the time we got home, both of us were ill. Me especially so. There was a guy in charge who I didn't recognize and he did not inspire confidence in how he was handling the food or talking to the cooks or just managing things in general. The cooks that night looked to be in training as well. There seemed to be a discussion over a bucket of premade salad greens and sifting through it. We had the salad, and it may have been the source of illness. It was a terrible salad, not the usual side salad, the larger one. The pasta was uncharacteristically bad that night, too. The dressing for the salad seemed to be bad canola or vegetable oil. Really awful. I hate to write this, since we've enjoyed eating here many times, but once bitten, twice shy. Food poisoning sticks with you awhile, you know? I don't think I'll be going back any time soon. read more

Pasta is the foundation of my Italian family. The pasta here is fantastic. Fresh, al dente and flavorful. We usually have the ragú style or bolognese and choose our own pasta shape. My wife gets the casarecce and I get the soy healthy pasta which is some of the best I have had (No knock on my nonna or mom. Super filled with flavor. We even got delivery today for the first time and it was hot and delicious. The pricing is also very reasonable for such a great dish. They have a few salads and the bruschetta is also very good. Those things usually don't go together so when I came across this place, I was intrigued by the fast casual concept but with stellar reviews. What a cool spot! The woman at the register was super friendly and patient with us as we tried to figure out what pasta was what and make a choice since they all looked so good. Our group of five all ordered a different pasta and every one was just delicious. The house made pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauced the same. Proof that a handful of dishes executed well with fresh ingredients is a sure fire recipe for success. Look forward to visiting again next time we're in Seattle. I would give them 4.25 and just slightly under Grassa in Portland. I ordered the carbonara and the beef Ragu. The pasta and sauce was solid. The ordering experience was easy and straightforward. I was just disappointed they charged $1.50 for the chili oil. I would at least give a free option to include chili flakes becauae that hint of spice makes a difference in both dishes. The pasta felt a bit dense and one dimensional, and the eggplant parmagiana was heavy on the salt. Good for what it is...but tasted very mid/average. Definitely a fast food model which felt very transactional with every order being annoyingly chimed with a cash register "ka-ching" notification...very opposite of "heartfelt" written on the back of their shirts. Also struggled with enrolling into loyalty program before ordering, in which one of the owners said he would follow up with us to grab my email... in which he promptly forgot.
