This hungry Goblin enjoys having a by-the-slice joint just in case he needs a quick bite. They'll generally have a few options to pick from. The service is quick and friendly, with plenty of seating inside if your legs tire from pillaging the countryside, as mine often do. Unlike pillaging the countryside with war horns and violence, the vibe here is casual with agreeable music. Nothing to write home about on the standard pies, but if you can stomach the stink of Gorgonzola, they have an amazing Tomato Gorgonzola situation. Now that specific pizza was so memorable, it actually changed my mind about Gorgonzola. Also, this Goblin appreciates the free pizza days this business does for the community. Finally got to try Pagliacci's Pizza! I came here for my mom's birthday (upon her request!) *I think you get a free slice for your bday but please verify with your preferred location! We got a 13 in pizza and we got 2 different flavors, The Italiano and Verde Primo. Both were delicious, I liked the Verde Primo better. -1 star because the service was a little slower than anticipated considering we were the only people in the restaurant, there were a couple folks buying to-go though but service was friendly and patient. The first time I tried this place- it was delicious. The GF crust was one of the best I've had. Second time I ordered- not sure if I got a different Chef, but, the pizza was undercooked- the cheese wasn't even melted all the way in the middle. The pizza here is very delicious. I just wish they had better customer service. I was once accused of stealing a Sriracha sauce bottle when I had put it back in the original location before leaving the store. The employee ran out of the store to tell me not to take the bottle. Decided to get 2 slices to go before work again. As much as I like Pagliacci slices, I'm not sure its rude to ask for specific slices. 5 slices we're left, and and 2 of the biggest juiciest slices were there. I asked for 2, but assumed they would give best slices. Nope, got 2 small slices, that kinda lacked cheese also. I don't know, maybe see that some slices on the cuts should be removed if not cut close to equally. It was quite a difference and also, lacked cheese. I will say, I like their gluten free crust the best out of all the places I've eaten at so far. That being said, their prices are outrageous. This small pie that realistically feeds one person with tip included was $40. Granted, I added prosciutto and ricotta to a margarita. But the two added items you would expect there to be more of if you're paying so much especially when it came to prosciutto. There were just a few small pieces on there. Sand Point location, they screwed up my order, and because the person at the pick-up didn't bother to open the box and confirm it, it wasn't until a long drive home we realized it was wrong. HAd to throw it in the garbage. Whether it was the guy on the phone who seemed to happy to speed through and not confirm the order, or the crew at the kitchen, in the end this is nothing but a fast food model, charging high prices for a very basic product. There are so many better options. Overpriced and sloppy in every interaction. I don't even care about a refund, just try it make it a step above McDonalds. Protip: never tip this crew. read more

The pizza quality has declined. Scant toppings, shrinkage, order issues, $7.00 extra fee for "employee benefits" that don't actually go to the employee. And get this, a price hike of 55.4% over the last two years. Paying more for a lot less. We first started ordering pizza from them in 2019. We used to love them. Am I a pizza snob? Yes. Do I eat Pagliacci Pizza even if the are not in my top 5 pizzas in the greater Seattle/Eastside region? You bet. Pagliacci makes a consistently decent pie that you can also purchase in slices for takeout or eat-in (their dining rooms are more pleasant than your average slice joint). Back in the dark ages of Seattle pizza options (not that long ago). I would have said Pagliacci was actually the best pizza Seattle had to offer. While that is no longer the case, my pizza fix can often be satisfied by a cheese or pepperoni slice from any of their stores. Throw in their Pagliacco Salad and a fountain drink from their awesome self serve drink machine (endless drink combos). Their delivery service is a joke. Pizza is pretty overpriced for average pizza but at least it's consistently flavored. I called to order a pizza for my family and they said they couldn't deliver to my house which according to google maps is 2.6 miles away. A 10 minute drive. I was flabbergasted when they said I lived too far outside their delivery zone. How big is their delivery zone? I'm a mom with a toddler and an infant and it's hard to go pick up food with them especially when parking is difficult to find in the junction and the restaurant isn't very stroller friendly. We ordered carry out which was easy to do on the phone and was ready right at the time we scheduled it for. Pickup was simple and quick. The pizzas were great and there are lots of premade options to choose from, including vegetarian and gluten free options, or build your own. I actually thought the gluten free crust was better than the regular crust (I'm not gluten free)!
