    April B.

Hello, I went to the papa Murphy's in burien Washington, 98148 off of first ave. I ordered a large LTN CYO With extra creamy garlic , spinach, pepperoni, chicken, bacon and mushroom. Once I got home... which I live downtown seattle 98109, I realized there wasn't any extra creamy garlic , as well as the spinach was soggy and bad. I put in a survey letting them know my experience was bad, as well as called the store to inform the manager to not use anymore spinach on future orders because it may be bad. She was nice and okay with that at first, asked to replace my pizza, but I let her know I lived downtown so me coming back would be just to much especially in traffic. But I work in that plaza so that is why I order from there every Tuesday. (Makes a fast dinner) she calls me back about 5 minutes later because she sees I put my survey in that wasn't the best. She's yelling at me, saying I didn't address everything that was wrong with my order when I called so I'm a liar. She is saying she is going to tell her boss that the issue was resolved and that I never addressed Everything to her, so it must not be true. She proceeds to yell " when you called you didn't say anything about the garlic sauce only about the spinach do you REALLY want you're 1.99 back for the spinach .that's nothing, it's honestly not a problem" I'm letting her know it's not about the money but about the principle I was just letting them know the spinach wasn't good, and giving my honest review. She proceeds again to tell me she will let her boss know the issue is resolved and I didn't mention EVERYTHING on the phone. I tell her "if corporate or you're boss need to call me I'd be happy to speak to them. She yells your a liar, they don't need to speak to you and says thankbou and deliberately hangs up in my face. I feel that was WAY OUT OF LINE, MORE THEN UNNACCEPTABLE WHEN I AM A CUSTOMER LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. I SPEND MY MONEY HERE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, SO BECAUSE I GOVE MY OPINION I NEED TO BE TALKED DOWN ON?!!!! Attached are the pictures of the NOT extra creamy garlic , as well as the spinach I took off my pizza because it WAS NOT ANY GOOD!!!!!!!

Hair in slice of pizza. Removed that to remove the hair. SMH

Piece of hair cooked into the pizza. Worker didn't wear gloves. Waste of whole pizza.

    More hair in pepperoni pizza

I go here regularly, at least once a week. The other day I chocked on a long hair that was melted into the pizza I was eating. It was the first slice and the hair spanned 3 pieces. I called the shop and asked for a credit for the pizza. I was told I have to bring it back. It is not the point t if the 10 $ pizza . It is the sheer lack of customer service that I'm pissed about. Replanting dinner with 2 kids isn't fun when they are hungry and dinner is ruined. I old them I could provide them pictures but that was not adequate for a response from the manager/. So here they are!!! Hair and all. Great service if yuh Lomé hair in your pizza eat here.

I came across Stevie's Famous via social media and the people weren't lying that they have the BEST…read moresourdough crust pizza in town (maybe in all of WA). I literally made my boyfriend take me here twice in one week because of how mind-blowing good their pizza is! Stevie's sells whole 12" pizzas (made for 2-3 people) and pizza by the slice. They unfortunately don't do half and half pizzas, so you and you companion(s) have to be on the same page if your ordering a whole pizza. On my first visit, I ordered a slice of their classic PEPPERONI ($5.50) and made it a Normie (+$2). I'm not sure who Normie is, but Normie is an absolute genius for adding burrata and hot honey to pizza - a literal kiss from heaven. The burrata and hot honey combo adds lots of complex flavors to your slice - so you get the savory, the sweet, and the spicy in every bite - and complex textures with the crispy chewy crust and the soft and creamy burrata. The pepperoni was fantastic and the sourdough crust was fresh and out of this world! On my second visit, I got a slice of their MUSHROOM GORGONZOLA ($6) and you already know I had to make it a Normie (+$2). The mushrooms were nice and earthy and while this pizza didn't have tomato sauce, it had a nice olive oil base and was super delicious. They rotate their pizza slices daily, but always have your standard cheese and pepperoni. If you're getting a slice, they warm up the slice for you right after you order so the cheese gets super gooey and the crust gets super crunchy. I haven't gotten a whole pizza from them yet, but the make it fresh on the spot. Make sure to grab extra napkins cause the slices do get oily and therefore messy. Service is great and the people working there are super friendly. It takes them only about 5 minutes to warm up a slice of pizza and they always welcome you in and thank you for coming on your way out. In terms of atmosphere, they have limited indoor seating and a couple of outdoor tables. They have merch featuring their dog logo and a couple of arcade machines too. Parking is limited to street-parking only, but I didn't have any issues finding a spot a couple of blocks down. Overall: 5/5 for pizza, 5/5 for service, 4/5 for atmosphere.

Per their website, the Tandoori Chicken Pizzatwist features their signature Tandoori sauce, fresh diced mozzarella cheese, garlic chicken, crisp red onions, bell peppers, spicy jalapenos, fresh fresh diced garlic, ginger, green chilies, garnished with fresh cilantro for a delicious fusion of flavors. This is busy when other competing pizza places on the sme street are empty. The staff is nice and attentive, and the kitchen works at a nonstop pace, keeping up with to-go and in-house orders. This is a funky old-style place with a bar in the back, and additional seating with video games and games for children. I love when a place is family friendly without having to say it. It conveys that, truly, all family types are welcome. Now, in the past, I have ordered the pizza and didn't leave it to my spouse's whim. Sometimes, extreme clarity is best. I asked for extra cheese, which translated into cheese with ricotta. Proletariat always makes thin - crust pizza that is perfect. Soft and yet with just enough crunch to make it some of the best pizza crust I have had. Although I did not enjoy this pizza as much as I have the others, it is not a reflection of Proletariat, but my spouse's ability to convey an order. Again, the pizza was as ordered, but not what my spouse was asked to order. I would have pizza from here nearly every day of the year, but I would need to start diabetes and high cholesterol medicine. Now, I have talked about my crazed love of Caesar salad. This salad is more olive oil-based and not creamy. It has a fresh, rich anchovy flavor, and I enjoy adding more anchovies to the salad. The croutons are just soft enough to really enjoy, but not so hard that you should take a pickaxe to them before eating them. These croutons are amazing, with a nice crunch. The salad comes with parmesan cheese shavings, and they are not stingy with the cheese as well. Oftentimes, restaurants and pizza joints will dole out the parmesan as if it were the last block of cheese on earth - not at Proletariat. This is one place I always look forward to having this Caesar salad. My spouse and I went with 2 friends, and they enjoyed their pizza as well. The volume in the place is not too loud as to be able to engage in your own conversation.

Something as basic as, "What are you guys known for?" Or, "what do you recommend?" Should be questions any employee can answer. I ordered the tandoori chicken pizza and Greek salad. I was going to stick with something safe, like the BBQ chicken pizza, but decided to try one of the Indian pizzas instead. It took about 20 minutes, I waited in the very well lit lobby. The area appeared very clean. My pizza was ready and handed to me fresh from their oven. I was so hungry I had a slice in the car. It was delicious! The crust was crispy and held up well when grabbed. I was worried the pizza would be greasy, but it was not. The pesto (i think) was evenly distributed and complimented the toppings well. Half of the medium pizza was enough to fill me, and I have a pretty healthy appetite. I was a little disappointed that the Greek salad came with ranch dressing. For a late night spot, I'd definitely recommend them for their pizza; I definitely want to try their other pizzas.
