I can confidently say, having eaten pizza all around the world, I have never had this pizza before. Looking at the pictures, we were thinking a PNW style pizza ala Pietro's, Abbey's, Paddington's or Papa Pete's, but couldn't have been more wrong. These are cooked in what looks like cast iron. The cheese action is full bore. When they hand you the pie, best use two hands, because that thing packs WEIGHT. This pizza is legit! Toppings are to notch, crust comes across like a Detroit or Sicilian had a baby with PNW style pizza. Everything was freakin' delicious! Best buffalo chicken pizza I've had to date (a recently acquired affinity). And the cheese... OMG the cheese...on the Masterpiece, it's as much the A-List star as anything else. Otherwise, the staff was kind and attentive when picking up. The pizza box art on the walls was cool and the shirts and hats made me want to rep some swag. Underneath I found what was obviously a day old pepperoni pizza they just decided to throw some topping on and pass it off as a supreme pizza. Adding Pizza Gallery to the MUST haves list for pizza. Each slice is stacked with pizza toppings and meshed together with melted cheese. Plus, they have a bit of a crisp crust which is a huge plus for me. Each slice is about an inch thick, I end up only eating a slice and a half... other half to save for later lol. We usually order the supreme pizza and has not disappointed us thus far. Overall, will definitely come back. The crust reminded me of the old Pizza Hut style crust as it was puffy with a crunch on the outside and delightfully greasy. It also wasn't overwhelming and super thick...definitely perfect. I typically only eat thin crust, but this would definitely change my mind. All the other ingredients were great in taste and proportion. It took about 15 minutes to make and it was well worth it. Only heartache was that it is a to-go only...there are no dine in options. Also, I could only finish half a medium so be ready to share it if you can. This is the type of place I LIVE for. Small local hole in the wall that makes spectacular food. Additionally, they support local artists, so their lobby is adorned with delightful pizza boxes painted with artwork by local artists (for sale, if any catch your eye). I have to admit, that I was tempted by the Full House era Bob Saget work. :-D The Pizza Gallery also offers their own selection of artwork, but that's THE FOOD! My selections: - Medium beef taco pizza - Medium supreme pizza - Cheezy bread The Beef Taco pizza was exactly what I expected. If you've never had a taco pizza, it's well... a pizza topped with taco toppings. :-p Toppings were hot and fresh. They even include Heinze taco sauce satchel packets. (I don't know if they have a mild/medium/hot option for the taco sauce, though. So if you like sauce spicy, you may want to add your own salsa. (The Pizza Gallery is also located next to a birria taco place and a huge Mexican grocer, so alternate sauce options can be acquired quite easily, if you so desire to.) If you're looking to finish your pizza, totally try the taco pizza, but be forewarned that the lettuce (as should be expected), doesn't reheat well. The Supreme pizza is now probably be favorite supreme in the area. It was hot and SOO GOOD. It also reheats very well, so is great the next day. The cheesy bread.... It was on the greasy side and quite lackluster. Essentially, it's a medium crust with cheese, then folded over on itself so the cheese is a thick layer inside. Personally, I'm more of a fan of cheese TOPPED cheesy bread. So if you're like me, avoid it. :-/ If you like cheese STUFFED cheesy bread, then have at it. You'll probably enjoy it.
