There aren't many places open after midnight in the area, I was surprised to find a pizza spot open. Read a few Yelp reviews and decided it was a better option than Taco Bell. I called in my order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. The establishment was easy to find, although the parking lot was not lit at all. My order was ready to go, as soon as I arrived. The floors had just been cleaned, and while the place wasn't pristine, it appears to be cleaned regularly. I ordered the small meat lovers pizza and beef/lamb gyro. The gyro was average and the pizza was slightly above average. The crust was perfectly cooked and toppings were plentiful. The place itself doesn't look like anything special, but they make a pretty good pizza. They have a number of specialty pizzas to choose from or you can build your own. They also have calzones, lasagna, spaghetti, sandwiches and salads. If you want to eat inside Crown Pizza, they have a few tables to sit at. But they appear to be more of a carryout place. I've been ordering food from here. I love the calzones, but I prefer to customize my own and I'm glad they offer the option. The Tandoori chicken one's flavors are distracted by olives, green peppers, jalapeños, and onion. It's a random and confusing combination. The gyro and chicken shawarma are not recommended. The feta sauce completely overwhelms the flavor on both. The wings are good, just dry. Once they forgot the sauces in my order. Wow! Some of the best food I had in Renton! We ordered the tandoori gyro, the beef and lamb gyro, and the shawarma gyro. I highly recommend the shawarma gyros! Each order came with some tasty seasoned fries. GrubHub reviews put it at 5 stars (and you HAVE to actually order from there to put a review, you don't for Yelp), and Google has almost 4 stars. Their customer service was great and for the price, it was amazing. Definitely going to be ordering from here again. Next time I have company and we want Greek food, THIS IS IT! False Advertisement! Ordered the Special (2 large Specialty pizzas) via their preferred Slice app for $36.99. When driving there to pick up my order I got a call from the business asking me to cancel my order as they don't have that offer. The only remedy they had was to make me 2 medium two topping pizzas in place of the 2 large specialty pizzas I already paid for. Upon pickup, I recommended that they contact Slice to remove the special from their options she said, "that's ok". The fact that they bait and switch so openly is disturbing and not good business practice. That and the fact that there is a child that runs around the kitchen makes this place less than 1 star IMO. read more

Do I want Indian or do I want pizza? Crown Pizza doesn't make you decide - you can have your cake and eat it, too! I've had several Indian pizza places on my bookmarks for far, far too long, but this is the first one I've tried. Love the idea!! I've gotten delivery from them twice now. Both times were great. The orders were correct, they were about 15 min. earlier than the quoted time, and everything was still hot. The pizzas have a really great flavour to them and I wish I could eat them everyday until I got tired of it. I'm writing this review to highlight a remarkably kind gesture by the staff at Crown Pizza. I was doing a delivery with uberEats late at night from the restaurant, probably around 2am or so last Sunday night. When I went in to pick up the customer's food, the friendly owner (?) or manager asked if I was hungry and offered to make a sandwich for me. I had eaten recently, and politely declined but I was really impressed with the kindness shown towards me by the staff. In these trying times of Coronavirus, I believe that a simple gesture of kindness goes an extraordinarily long way. The restaurant industry as a whole has been catastrophically disrupted, yet the kind folks at Crown Pizza really went out of their way to prove that they value human compassion over profit. This is my way of showing that their generosity was noticed and very much appreciated by some nobody delivery driver. I wasn't even a customer! Phone in for delivery was long, kept getting put on hold, person answering the phone was rude and didn't speak very good English. Stated pizza delivery would take 60 minutes, and I was surprised they were at my hotel room at exactly 60 minutes. Cheap ingredients and noticable cost cutting and skimping on ingredients. I've had food from here 3 times in the last 6 months. The first time the pizza was great, tasty, full of flavorful toppings. The Greek salad had a very light dusting of feta and didn't have a Greek dressing option, the salad was fresh. Crust and sauce have always been sub par, not a huge deal with awesome toppings. Second time, much lighter hand on toppings. This last time I ordered Feta fries, jalapeno poppers, Chicken Parm sub, and Tandoori chicken pizza. Order was placed through a delivery service. It was all pretty terrible. Fries were undercooked and had a very very light dusting of shredded feta. The poppers were undercooked and greasy (seemed like the oil wasn't hot enough). Pizza had very little flavor & was very skimpy on toppings. The chicken Parm sub was the absolute worst! Would have given Crown Pizza 5 stars if my delivery wasn't overdue by 40 minutes. When I called about it the person who answered the phone was really nice. Told me the delivery service had already picked it up. Don't think I'll be using Slice again. Chicken Shawarma was pretty amazing! Last time I got one from Falafel Boy (shout out!) in Oakland CA, I forgot to order the pickles and was pretty disappointed in myself. This one has 'em! Tzatziki is a little thick -- like regular Greek yogurt -- but still tasty once I got it spread around. Had to pick off a few pieces of the romaine lettuce as I don't eat lettuce with even slightly brown edges. Fries were tasty too, but I didn't eat them. After 40 minutes they were too soggy. Maybe if I stick them into my air fryer for a few minutes? For the pizza, I ordered crispy crust but, again, after at least 40 minutes... Have to say it's pretty darn delicious even without crispy crust. Not sure if the spiciness is from the Italian sausage or Crown's pizza sauce, but it's just a 'twinge' of spiciness and perfect!
