The service was great, I tried to contact the restaurant to see how long the wait was on a Friday night, and the owner saved us a table and told us to just come. My family can put away a lot, we ordered the following: -full size caeser salad with anchovies -1 med mushroom/pepperoni/sausage pizza -1 chicken fettuccine alfredo -2 orders of the spaghetti and meatball in bolognese sauce With the exception of the last order of spaghetti given to us and us having fettuccine with meatballs, the food was excellent! Charming little spotwith welcoming decor, impeccably clean, free validated parking. It's honestly shocking that they've never been full/ busy when we go. Housemade pastas are second to none. We're regular patrons and have tried a wide variety of their menu. I have dreams of their Green Spaghetti, Fried Raviolis, and Cannoli. My partner often has one of the baked pasta choices and he's always pleased. Seems husband & wife owner-operators, I think she also personally makes the desserts. I recently had a delightful experience at Soprano's Antico and only wish I had discovered it sooner. My husband and I were craving spaghetti and meatballs, so we decided to give this place a try. The restaurant is located across the street from the Admiral Theater. We found street parking, but there's also a lot in the alley behind the building. Once inside, you can scan a QR code for 90 minutes of free parking. We like to eat dinner really early and it wasn't busy when we were there. We sat at a large, comfortable table. We started with a full order of garlic bread. It was soft, garlicky, and delicious. We didn't realize the pasta dishes also come with two pieces of garlic bread, so next time we'll probably just order a salad as an appetizer instead. For our main course, we both ordered the classic pasta. You can choose your pasta and sauce. We went with spaghetti and marinara, plus meatballs for an extra $3. I really enjoyed my meal. Everything was hot, flavorful, and it was a generous portion. I finished mine, but my husband even had leftovers. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. At 8:30pm on a Monday I got a mad craving for spaghetti bolognese with meatballs, and when I saw Soprano's was open I figured it was a typo. We have been patronizing Soprano's regularly for the last 4 years. Sometimes the pastas, but usually the pizza. Always thought they were top notch. But in the last year or so things have changed, at least with the pizzas. It has come to the point that when we order I hold my breath to see what arrives. The pizza crust is terrible about a third of the time. You see this pictures of the pillowy soft crust and dough and we that was true once upon a time but no longer, at least on a consistent basis. This past week's order is probably our last order. The dough was dry, hard, the pizza just warm, lacked sauce... Just not willing to roll the dice and gamble any longer. read more

This is a great place for date night, and our family's go to place for special occasions. It is conveniently located across the street from the movie theater. Parking available in the back. The service is excellent. The owners and waitstaff are always friendly and have a warm presence. The food is delicious and plentiful. My kid and I love the Soprano's Special Pasta. The Pesto Artichoke Penne is my other kid's favorite. The pizza is also great. It is hard to try other items on the menu when you know you love the item you have got and want more of it. GLUTEN FREE REVIEW I've been on the hunt for the best gluten-free pizza on the California area of West Seattle. I highly prefer non-cracker crust. People with food allergies want good pizza too with a nice crust. The closest I've found is nine hats or Razzis but these are both just far enough away for the pizza to be cold by the time he gets to your house. The ingredients here taste good but the gf crust is nothing to write home about. About the same as Tallricos and pizzeria credo. Our party was craving calzones and pasta, so that's exactly what we came for. Wish we did try the pizza though as it looks terrific. Calzones and white sauce pasta were delicious whereas the parm options with red sauce felt a little more standard. However, pasta is delicious so I round up a bit from the 3.5 I figure. House Calzone - doesn't seem crazy but it's packed, dense, and filling! Satisfied my calzone cravings with a outer layer that was thick enough to hold all the contents but not overly thick. This calzone did not need the marinara sauce as it was flavorful enough. Fettucini (build your own pasta) - creamy fettuccine, the Alfredo sauce was an amazing mixture of cheese of butter that enhanced the overall dish. I would definitely say the Alfredo here was better than the marinara. Chicken Parm - a classic, but nothing special. Spaghetti was simply boiled and placed, marinara had no wow factor, and chicken was breaded light. Probably a more replicable dish at home, but chicken parm is always a solid, safe bet, so usually it's not bad anyway with room to improve. That was this chicken parm, not bad but room to improve. This place might be hard to notice when you drive by, but it's definitely worth stopping for, at least when it comes to pizza. This is my first and only experience so far, but based on this pizza I will definitely be back to explore the menu. I got a small pepperoni pizza with the traditional crust option. I'm a little bit of a pizza snob, having grown up in the New York City area. So far I've really only loved one other pizza I've had here in Seattle (Slice Box in SoDo) but their hours are limited. Honestly, this pizza was so enjoyable and it's right near me in West Seattle, so I can foresee Sopranos becoming my go to pizza for most occasions. Prices seem fair - a large 18" pie is about the same price as Pagliacci but in my opinion, the flavor is way better at Sopranos. Sauce, cheese, crust all come together perfectly for a delightful experience, and the pepperoni turn into the little grease cups that everyone loves so much, myself included. There's a bunch of interesting pizzas on the menu and several pasta entrees I'm wanting to try. Inside, the restaurant is small - one room, looked to be maybe 8 total tables. Very chill atmosphere. Came here on a whim and left with every intention to come back. A few days ago, I walked past Antico wondering how long it had been here, it was empty and I was surprised since it looked new. My partner wanted pasta and we wanted something close but not our usual spots, in comes Soprano's Antico. A quick glance at their online menu solidified it for me. We came in and there was one other table there, it was a group of 3 elderly men. It was very endearing. The decor is kitschy but everything was nice and spacious. The server/host/bartender was super nice and accommodating. I really liked her and how she treated everyone who walked in with so much genuine kindness. Onto food, I had the Brooklynn calzone, baked with less cheese and more veggies. You also have the option to have it deep fried! She said it was really big and made for good leftovers, when it came to the table, I was pretty intimidated with the size...knowing I wouldn't finish it- I did though...despite everyone's disbelief. The calzone wasn't bad, I think had there been the regular amount of cheese it wouldn't have needed a little extra salt and pepper but it was good. The crust was really soft and crispy, the interior stayed hot the entire time I was eating. Gf ordered the spaghetti with marinara and it came with the best toasted garlic bread. The spaghetti was good, the noodles had a chew and the sauce had a nice sweetness to it. The restaurant boasts homemade pasta, so for the price points, it's worth it. read more

We popped into Soprano's for a quick glass of wine at the bar. We had a glass of the organic Sangiovese and the Sauv Blanc (New Zealand). Casual place menu was very straight forward and basic. Don't let this fool you, it was really good and actually very high end ingredients. Started with the Greek salad nicely dressed and good for 2. Bit sparse on the accoutrements (cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers) but was crisp and fresh. The pizza was awesome. We had the mafia pizza as a "appetizer". Sauce was great and ingredients again very high end. Mozzarella was nicely browned and the pizza oven and crust nicely toasted. Ordered some pastas as the starters were so good. The chicken Parm. was the beat I've had in seattle (including ALL the "nice" Italian restaurants). The mozzarella was very nicely browned over the chicken and pasta. Very hot plate and stayed that way throughout the duration of this meal. The garlic bread also tasty to dip. We also had the carbonara. Pasta perfectly cooked and the sauce creamy. Ended with the tiramisu. Wine list basic but appropriate for this casual "pizza" place. Apparently this is a Franchise with multiple locations. We went to place in west seattle. Prices extremely reasonable. I'm upset with myself as I love pizza (we have it weekly) and the fact I've walked by this place and snubbed my nose at this place previously because I never saw anyone in the place. I've had chicken parm, lasagna and fettuccine alfredo. All have been absolutely delicious. The service is always good. The owners always remember me and even remember what I like to eat there.
