There was some renovation going on, so there weren't any seats available for dine-in. However, there was a bench inside where we sat to enjoy our coffee, which worked out since I love having coffee at cafes, especially in their cute mugs. The quality of the coffee was amazing easily one of the best I've had in Seattle. I also appreciated their efficient setup: the barista takes your order and makes it at the same time. You might have to wait in line a bit longer, but you get your coffee right away instead of waiting for your name to be called later. Just be prepared for a line, but it's totally worth it!

We picked up a couple of bags of beans from the shop, but all the credit goes to their amazing barista and owner. You can truly tell how passionate and skilled they are in their craft. We loved it so much that we visited twice, and both times the drinks were absolutely perfect (tried cappuccino and espresso with hot chocolate) The café has such a cozy, relaxing city vibe; I noticed many people upstairs reading, studying, and working. I'd love to come back someday and spend more time there, savoring their coffee to the fullest.

I recently had a delightful experience at Soprano's Antico and only wish I had discovered it…read moresooner. My husband and I were craving spaghetti and meatballs, so we decided to give this place a try. The restaurant is located across the street from the Admiral Theater. We found street parking, but there's also a lot in the alley behind the building. Once inside, you can scan a QR code for 90 minutes of free parking. We like to eat dinner really early and it wasn't busy when we were there. We sat at a large, comfortable table. We started with a full order of garlic bread. It was soft, garlicky, and delicious. We didn't realize the pasta dishes also come with two pieces of garlic bread, so next time we'll probably just order a salad as an appetizer instead. For our main course, we both ordered the classic pasta. You can choose your pasta and sauce. We went with spaghetti and marinara, plus meatballs for an extra $3. I really enjoyed my meal. Everything was hot, flavorful, and it was a generous portion. I finished mine, but my husband even had leftovers. Our server was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. I would definitely recommend Soprano's Antico and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

House-made pasta, fresh salads, and must-have tiramisu. Everything we've had is SO good. I recommend sharing multiple dishes. Bonus: 90-minute parking validation in the lot behind the restaurant. Highly recommend. Oh, they have yummy pizza too!

BoxBar has been on our list of vegan places to try for forever and a day. We made it out that way…read morethis weekend and our experience lived up to everything we've heard about them!! The pasta was amazingly tender, cooked to perfection. There was a lot of flavor and depth in each bite, more of a deliciously earthy mac and cheese as opposed to maybe a velveety smooth creamy type. The Jalapeño poppers were amazing. I've always associated poppers with a crusted fried topping but these were bold, going in a different direction. The jalapeños were fresh and soft to the bite, easy to cut with the side of a fork, loaded with components such as cashew cheddar, crema, avocado sauce, sweet pickled jalapeños, pico and cabbage slaw - all coming together perfectly in each bite (i'm utilizing their menu description) For the main dish, Sandi ordered the "Smokey Barbecue" which came with a complimentary side of chips and I ordered the Portobello French Dip and upgraded my side to a Side Salad for an extra $4. Each dish, every bite was delicious, even something as simple as a side salad was elevated with their Ginger Tahini dresing. Dipping the Portobello Sandwich into the Dip was just .. magical. We also both opted for the same drink, South Park Mule. The drink was legit, in addition to tasting great, I actually had a buzz as well .. indicating to me they didn't skimp on the adult juice Their food is amazing across the board and there's so much more to go back and try! Definitely worth the trip!!

Loved the portobello french dip sandwich! Lots of shrooms, cooked perfectly and very well seasoned…read more My spouse said the barbecue sandwich made with tempeh was good but not great. My friend very much enjoyed the tofu bahn you. Although we all really enjoyed the nachos, they were not what I expected. I expected cashew cheese sauce that was cheesy tasting. It was very different from that but tasted great. The lentils and tomatos were very well seasoned. They are not spicy but are yummy. The kale salad was good but I have had a better vegan one in SF. The service was friendly but slow. On the plus side, there was zero pressure to rush. I look forward to going here again when I am next in town. I want to try the mac and cheese and one of their pretty cocktails.
