Pizza shop and bar in the South Park neighborhood of Seattle. Not too busy on a weekday afternoon. Kind of an old neighborhood bar feel on the inside. Was with a larger group and we were in the small patio area out back, which has some patio and picnic tables. On a hot sunny day, that area doesn't have enough sun cover nor do they have fans, so not the best area to hang out in for a long time. As for the food, the pizza and wings were decent. The pizzas have a little bit of flop and some crisp to the pie. I liked the meat lovers, and the Seattle dog with pickles and hot dog pieces was interesting. They also have this giant chocolate chip cookie for dessert, that is served like a pizza in slices. The cookie was good, although you can supposedly get ice cream with it, and they were really slow bringing out the ice cream one bowl at a time. read more

Honestly the pizza here is amazing! and the jalapeño poppers are spicy and delicious. But the service is terrrribleee. The servers straight up ignore you even if you're sitting AT the bar. and if you do manage to get their attention once, good luck getting it again. Definitely feels like they prefer to serve their known regulars over others. read more

We ordered 18" KAUA'I Whole Pie (pizza): Tomato sauce, mozzarella blend, spicy coppa, fresh pineapple. Taste OK and oily. I ate one slice, and my husband ate 2 slices, I took the rest home. I have been to south town pie many times, and fine there food to be inconsistent. Sometime the cheese bread is fluffy and wonderful, other time it is way overproofed and tough as a bagel. Today it was tough as a bagel, and the pizza was extremely greasy but that might have been partly our fault do to an ordering mistake but the reason I will not be going back any time soon is; I witnessed a staff member shake out then fold a towel so that he could use it as a hot pad witch would be fine but it was done over the top of a pizza. That was delivered it to a table. I was thankful at that moment that I was there to see my pizza come out of the oven and in to a box read more

Not bad. Got pie by the slice - the Unicorn was just ok. I hear great things about the pastrami pizza which I did not try. The crust was delish and I liked the staff a lot. This place has it's own parking in the back but there's plenty of parking around. The prices are more reasonable than Pagliacci's pizza. To me, these folks know how to make pizza! It was easy to order online if needed; however, to get exactly what we wanted, the restaurant had to be called for pick-up. I used to love this place. I especially loved the large chunks of sausage they always used. This last time the sausage was much smaller and the green peppers and onions were unrecognizable. I didn't think it was possible to cut a vegetable that thin. Also, don't ask for a Margarita pizza, they have no idea what that should look like. No fresh mozzarella to be seen. I still love their sauce though, it's the best. Also, the staff is great, always really nice and friendly. Maybe the management is forcing them to cut back on toppings. Very disappointing. I really, really want to like South Town Pie. It smells amazing when you walk past their storefront, and my nose never steers me wrong. Well, almost never. I went for a slice of pepperoni, and unfortunately this pizza was extremely floppy. So much so that I couldn't eat it folded because the tip kept drooping. I don't have a problem with greasy pizza, but not if it overwhelms the crust. Maybe I got unlucky, because it looks great in photos. The service is really friendly and the whiskey selection is good, so I wouldn't rule out a return visit. Hope I just caught them on a bad day. read more

All of The pizzas are lacking toppings.. very stingy with toppings and Cheese ...the slices are a rip off, because it's mostly bread and crust. I want to try the pizza, not the crust and dough. It's also a weird set-up In there. If you pull up to grab a slice and just want to scarf it down in there and get going, the bar tender comes and asks a bunch of questions.. have you ordered? For here or to go? It's so obvious that all they want is tips. And more tips. Makes the place uncomfortable... overpriced mostly crust pizza and I'm supposed to tip you??? Never again going there. The pizza here is so good! The slices are warmed up before serving and had a nice crunch. I thought the sausage and fennel pizza was perfect and not too salty. My friend really enjoyed the cheese slice & the veggie slice. The veggie slice has eggplant, zucchini, and yellow squash like ratatouille on pizza. Outstanding pizza available by the slice. Got a Unicorn and a Supreme, both were outstanding. Tremendous crust, great draft beer selection and they split a small Caesar for the wife and I. Great service, excellent tunes being played and parking was readily available. Everything about our first visit means we will be back for more. read more

There are two doors you can go into, the one on the left is the one for the bar and to be seated to eat, the right is for pickup and orders for only pizza. They have booths lining the wall and a bar as well as a few tables. There are two TVs with sports on. The bartender, Grant, was very nice and helped us fast. The Mac and cheese was okay but the sauce was a lil sub par and it was dry, I wouldn't order that again. The jalapeños were super spicy since they didn't take the seeds out but they were bomb. The pizza was so yummy! The crust was so good, a little crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside and not too thick to be overwhelming. We will definitely be back again. read more

This place serves up some excellent pizza! Wow! We just had a couple of Unicorn Slices... (daily specials)... Today was wild boar ragu, crispy sage and Funyuns. Yes, Funyuns on the pizza. Yum. Happy hour 2-6 with $1 off slices and pints. Quite a nice selection of craft beers - lots of different styles. Slices are cheese, pepperoni, sausage, specialty (rotates among their specialty pies), daily veggie and Unicorn. Great environment and great service. A couple of TVs for watching sports. read more

Pizza is super subpar. As a very avid yelper with food fomo I was of course attracted to a neighborhood pizza joint that had over 4 stars. I was extremely mislead. We got the animal pizza and added artichokes. The pizza had a huge outer crust and very thin inner crust that wasn't even cooked all the way through. When you pick up a piece of pizza everything just falls apart. All I can say is lazy to the chefs. All of the pizza toppings weren't even cut into bites or edible pieces. I had giants hard salamis the size of small CDs littered all over my pizza. All I can say is don't waste your Time. Order dominos from home. read more

Great local pizza go-to spot for anyone with at least a casual interest for pizza. I say w/o any bias whatsoever even though I live just down the block. The space is a cool aesthetic of rustic dive bar with funky mid-century industrial/blue collar worker vibes; think South Park's pastime. Dark industrial tones inside, mid-century worker/school chairs, a slung chainsaw above an entryway, MCM charming pizza logo characters, some rock(?) jams playing in the air and other stuff. Even their logo could pass as an early-mid century metal sign hanging outside an old storefront with its elegant design & cursive. I typically get any combo of a custom pie; sometimes a veganized special. From mushrooms to basil, pineapple to artichoke, there's a great variety of toppings to go willy nilly over. I've gone as simple as red sauce and mushrooms to red sauce plus this-this-this-this-this, lol. The veganized salads are also a great option. Kudos to the tasty house vinaigrette; not too oily and nice. Like many other places, it can be hard to toss and mix the goods when it's already packed tight so I usually chop & transfer at home to a better mixing & eating vessel. I think depending on the staff, you can also dab a lil off a seasonal ingredient that's "off-menu" from the main menu. Not sure how much is organic. I think depending on perspective, the price could also seem a smidge high because it sounds like they just use basic ingredients in the regular dough (AP flour, instant yeast, plain sugar, etc). For GF folks, I don't think the gluten-free dough is vegan. But adding the whole experience, it's a good value; check out the comfy outdoor seating out back with the neat outdoor tribal rugs. The staff are generally super chill & friendly. Lunch crew can seem a bit more restrained than dinner crew but overall a great bunch I'd say. I usually stopped by weekly over the winter for all my vegan pie fixes. One time they botched my order upon check out spot check but gladly fixed it. Came here to pick up a gift card I won on Instagram and thought the least I could do is order a pizza to go. Luckily my dad lives in South Seattle so we didn't have to far to go. I went with the Supreme : TOMATO SAUCE, MOZZARELLA BLEND, ZOE'S PEPPERONI, HOUSE MADE SAUSAGE*, ONION, MUSHROOMS , GREEN PEPPER, BLACK OLIVES. Believe their while pies only comes in 18 inches. You can order while pies, but I love to make a mix and match pie from all of their individual slices. They always have some unique combinations like fresh fennel and Italian sausage (which is fab)! Dear South Town Pie, We have been apart for many months since COVID-19 brought the city into a lockdown and I suddenly found myself working at home many miles from you. The distance never diminished my fondness as I would try other nearby pizza places and felt that my stomach had a pizza shaped hole that no other pizza but your pizza could completely fill. I found I missed your flavorful cheese pizza, your delightful sausage pizza, and your zippy pepperoni pizza. Yours was the only thin crust pizza I ever loved and no other pizzeria was going to be able to compete. I will admit I never found the distance to be off putting. I had driven further for less. But pizza is a communal experience and I had no one to share your pizza with. With the only person in COVID lockdown with me being lactose intolerant it felt impossible to eat an 18" pizza by myself and while there were options I could not convince my waistline that an 18" pizza was wise for two people. Then restrictions lifted a little and a pathway could be seen. My friend had a birthday. I arranged a gathering. And now I had a reason to order your pizza. I reviewed your menu and opted for a half and half. Half of the pizza was traditional pepperoni. Half the pizza was a cheese-less bacon, sausage, pastrami, pepperoni, ham pizza. I indicated online I would pick it up at 4:30. I, of course, mismanage my time and do not arrive until 4:40. I parked in the back lot, stared longingly at the back patio reminiscing on life in the past, and went to pick up my pizza and cheese bread. The cook in the back saw me immediately as I entered and waved. How nice. I saw how the restaurant was arranged so that the dining room doors were closed and only the pick up side was open with the dining room side was obscured. It made me nostalgic for that giant bar. The cook went to the closed dining room, informed the person that I was there, and she came back with him where he promptly went back to making pizza. The lady verified how I placed my order and my name and provided me my still hot pizza boxes. Everyone was wearing masks and gloves. I wish I could tell you that the pizza was delicious. It looked delicious. The two sides were perfect. There was so much meat on the meat side I actually couldn't tell if the cheese was omitted. There was no cheese and so much meat. The pepperoni side was generously portioned with pepperoni but perfectly spaced. It smelled delicious. The smell of cooked pepperoni is undeniable. The cheese bread looked fantastic. Puffy, cheesy, delightful. I wish I could tell you how it tasted. I can't tell you how it tasted because everyone else ate it all. In the beginning no one was touching the giant pizza. They glanced at it and said how full they were. How they were on a diet. How they weren't going to eat. Then one person took one slice, magic happened, and both boxes were cleared faster than I could say "Save me a slice". I was left with no pizza. But am I mad? Nope, not in the slightest. Because here's the thing. No one but me had heard of you that was there that evening. They asked if it was pizza from a variety of other locations and so I informed them of South Town Pie and about your unicorn pizzas and how no other pizzeria compares to you. Everyone agrees your pizza was fantastic talking about the crust, the sauce, and the toppings. Everyone was full and happy. That was worth spending money on a pizza I didn't get to eat. Hands down THE best pizza in WA. Perfect crust and super high quality toppings. This reminds me of the pizza I grew up with on the east coast. South Town Pie is the pizza masterpiece of one of Seattle's best chefs, Sam Crannel. Sam closed LloydMartin on Queen Anne in January, and he's put his passion, talent, and creativity in this neighborhood pizza joint and bar. The results are at once stunning and comforting. This is pizza as pizza should be--and more. And the space it's in is fun, inviting, and pleasant. You'll find old standbys such as pepperoni (though this will likely be the best pepperoni pizza you've ever eaten). You'll also find several creative and delicious creations from Crannel's chef mind, as well as occasional special flavor creations. Pies are available whole or by the slice. The by the slice idea means you can try several flavors on the same trip. I recommend it. Service is great. And the place is family friendly. There is parking behind the restaurant. It could be marked better. You get to it via the small alley next to the restaurant. This spot's only been open for a week. Get in now before the word gets out. Amazing Amazing Amazing ! Phenomenal staff and Phenomenal pies ! They have great outdoor seating

South Town Pie in Georgetown is our favorite go to place for great pizza and comfortable atmosphere. Last night dining experience left us gravely disappointed. The usual prized Chop Chop Salad went from minimal ingredients including the usual tasty salad dressing to unbearably spicy and was drowning in salad dressing. I kid you not, my husband loves spicy he tried but could not finish his salad. The pizza crust and main topping was perfection. However, My request for artichokes to be added to the pizza was a great disappointment. I was told that the manager instructed the cook to "take apart the artichoke so it looks like more" one leaf does not equal a piece. At that point it was the last straw we paid the full bill and took our pizza home. What we had hope for was a enjoyable dinner at our favorite pizza joint turned into a disaster. read more

Did a pick up order and was surprised that the $18 large chop salad was missing ingredients/dressing and was the same size as the small caesar salad. There were a couple other small misses in the order, like blue cheese instead of ranch and no parm on the caesar. Also the marinara was pretty spicy for some reason, which doesn't reflect what's on the menu. Overall didn't feel like we got our moneys worth. read more

We had plans to go to Georgetown but we ended up here and that is ok! I wanted bold pizza by the slice! The special of the day; kale wasn't my favorite it had a taste from the mushrooms that I wasn't a fan of! It was the veggie one and normally love those options! I was a huge fan of the bbq chicken with bacon! My sister hates bacon so she picked off everything and then ate it! Alll good she was a fan too! It was a cute joint! We didn't drink just pizzas and soda pop and water! It was a great way to end the night! We were pooped from traveling to vashon island and didn't think we would be hungry but we were and slices were great!
