One of my favorite pizza spots in Seattle. Excellent slices. - Tasty pies. Excellent crust. Awesome flavour combinations! - Awesome lunch specials: a slice and a side salad for $12. Cheese slice and fountain drink for $6. Love their Caesar salad. - Solid selection of beers on draft from Rogers, Pelican, Manny's, and Stoup - Friendly staff, excellent service - Good vibes. 90s hip-hop, 80s Highly recommend!

We are always on the hunt for great places that have great food (including Gluten Free) and is pet friendly. Nine Pines checks all those boxes. The service was quick and friendly. The seating (outside for the pup) was comfortable. The menu was easy to read and had great offerings. We ordered. The food came out very quickly. It looked great and tasted great. The GF pizza has one of the best crusts we've ever tasted. Give them a try, and check out some of the neighboring businesses.

I am thrilled I found this place because the flavor of their pizza is better than I've ever had especially in Seattle! I grew up eating NY pizza and this is it!! Owner and crew were very friendly and nice, also bringing the delicious flavor of authentic NY pizza to the west coast. Love the patio and interior was super clean and vibe was very welcoming and relaxing. Can't wait to bring my friends and family here. This is my new favorite pizza spot in Seattle area

What a great find! We were at an event down here and had no idea there was a little complex with tasting rooms and this pizzeria. The pizzas looked good, but we didn't get it this time. The portions are pretty big and the food is not fussy, comfort, Italian food...the way Italian food should be served. Love the patio space too!

Excellent pizza, just-okay-wine, interesting atmosphere/vibes, and decent service. Sounds like a 4 star to me. One thing that kind of bothered me was the food safety rating was only "Good." The venue looked quite clean and the pizza came out piping hot so I was a bit confused as to why but hey I don't work for OSHA and I am sure the restaurant did not properly cover some health regulations. With that out of the way, I believe this restaurant is run by a winery/wine tasting room next door called Nine Hats Wines. You can order Nine Hats wines by the glass or bottle while dining. The wine I ordered (Merlot) was not very good though. The good news is, the pizza was amazing. My buddies all enjoyed it. The 14 inch pie was $26 so it wasn't cheap but it wasn't outrageous either. I recommend this place. They also have an outdoor seating area and there is free parking right in front of the restaurant.

This place is legit! The environment is very clean and modern with both indoor & outdoor seating. The service was great, fast, friendly and shared a lot about the menu and recommendations. Let's talk about the food! AMAZING! I had the pizza slice and salad combo and it was so fresh, flavorful and hit the spot for a lunch special. Stop in, you will not regret it!

Needed to try some yummy pizza and I heard this was the spot ! They have a lunch special and so I went for the 14 ' small pizza . They sell wine and beer. Service was friendly and attentive ! My pizza was yummy put it needed more cooking time. I mean the crust could have been browner. Next time I'll ask for extra crispy. Overall it was good .

As an Italian from the East Coast, I can be very picky about Italian cuisine, especially claims of New York style pizza. I also love to be surprised when PNW restaurants get it right! Nine Pies is an upscale restaurant that's also accessible in a non-bougie, casual kinda way. That's the best way to describe it. We were immediately greeted by our server (owner?) and seated. I ordered the puttanesca; a dish I truly love, yet rarely get to enjoy. I asked the waiter for a good red wine choice and came through with a good Sangiovese. The dish was flavorful with just the right amount of salty goodness. My hubby is easier to please and enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. I of course had to sample it. Yes, it was a quality pie, cooked to perfection; just slightly charred on the bottom. We split a ceasar salad. It was fresh, lightly dressed with a nice crunch to it. It was a delicious dinner with an upbeat, casual vibe. We hope to come back next time we are in town!

Never knew this place existed but had six people going for dinner. Was not impressed with the flavor of the Meatballs whatsoever. Something just tasted off. That said, the calzone looked beautiful and my pizza was terrific! Stuffed mushrooms were okay. Crust was super thin which is exactly the way I like it. Would go back!

A popular location, Barrels can fill up fast so I appreciate slipping in before or after the crowds but if the timing doesn't work out I'll buy a recommended bottle to-go. Josh is incredible. Unpretentious and very welcoming, Josh defies the typical wine connoisseur stereotype. He finds a moment to make sure everyone is attended to even on the busiest of evenings. His staff are also delightfully authentic people. They are equally welcoming and just real for lack of a better word. When I come here I'm treated with a warmth that I only experience at places I'm a regular but here they immediately engaged as though I've always been here. They joke, tell stories, and share laughter that puts me at ease. Barrels is a comfortable wine bar. I have eaten a few of their charcuterie boards and loved them all, but especially the one with this soft mystery cheese that is super spreadable. It is so good! But typically I come for the wine. I highly recommend!!

For those short of time and live with no adventure I'll cut to the chase. The food is exquisite…read more For the rest, please read on. This last week while traveling for business to Seattle I had the pleasure of dining at Mezzanote. Their name of course implies it is an Italian restaurant but what you don't realize until you have sat and initiated your meal is that you, regardless of choice are embarking on a beautiful tribute to Northern Italian cuisine. At first arrival, the immediate impression is one of modest presentation but friendly and very inviting ambience. The staff, including our Server Marcus was attentive and had impeccable timing to read the table and flow of those joined in the meal. Check back was perfect and his service support was equally in tune with the other tables on the patio where we sat. Now this is what you have been waiting for... The food and I mean, we had almost one of every item on the menu and every dish was simply delicious. Tastes that were balanced and never overwhelming, but truly inspired dishes that your taste buds understand that the food was made with care and meant to satisfy even the toughest of pallets. Let's start with the house focaccia and ask for the disco sauce to dip your bread. It was a tummy satisfying start but then they dropped the focaccia regala and with the cheeses melted in a medley that left me thankful I was as they say "hungry as a hostage" because the meal had just begun. The next appetizer brought out was the Carote... This medley of carrots smoked with a Chile Honey Glaze left this BBQ born and raised Mexican wondering why ?? And then I had my first forkful and any doubt that I had about the chef creating something sacrilegious by smoking carrots left me, as the flavors were amazing. For a moment I forgot I was eating my vegetables.. where was this when I was a younger man. On to the main courses and the Reginette was first up. This Bolognese was a hearty blend of flavor and subtlety as it wasn't overly anything except satisfying. The Braciola Dia Miaale was a durock pork chop with a rhubar mostarda and salsify puree with asparagus that could not have been better. You didn't have to be a pork chop fan to enjoy this at all. Every dish that arrived was better than the one before. The Bucatini C'Anciuova, Prawns with Calabrian Chile, anchovies, tomatoe and orange zest was a delight and I don't normally eat anything overly spicy. This was a balance of heat with a twist of tang that the orange zest delivered flawlessly. Allow me to share that it is imperative you save room for dessert. Their tiramisu taste as if there is some Italian grandmother locked away in a pastry room kicking these out. They have other desserts to be sure, but this is the star of the show in my opinion. For those of you that are wine enthusiast, they did have a wine list that was impressive. All in all, for those that follow me, you know that it is a rarity for me to give any place I visit five stars from the first visit. Consistency is premium in my book. But as I mentioned to one of our fellow diners. This food is amazing, and the reality is each of these dishes could be served in a five-star venue layered with opulence and still the food would outshine the location. The only drawback was there was no Coke Zero... Damn it ...Turns out though that can be a pretty tough find in the city of Seattle in all the restaurants. For one that does not participate in alcohol or wine, my taste buds were not underserved and I survived without my Zero. This place is a go-to for any Italian yearning for authentic Italian food made with love. That's the only way I can describe just how good the food is. This isn't something that is prepared in volume for the masses. The chef and that team are simply serving with their hearts and it resonates with every bite. I'll be back, again and again. Oh and should you find yourself needing to go to the restroom. Ask for the Disco restroom.. that alone is worth the drive... Lol until next time Mezzanote! Thank you for a wonderful meal.

They do have a good wine list, but the pricing is HIGH. Think $25-$45 PER GLASS. Some of the wines this made sense for, but they really should consider adding a wine or two below $25 per glass. I have my WSET 2 and know a decent amount about wines so could understand why some of them were priced like this, but the whole menu being this high was strange. $32 for a glass of pinot noir didn't sit right with me. We asked to do flights so we could try a few things, but they said they were only doing glass pours. We asked for a rec for an acidic, fruity red and felt like the gal just told us the most expensive non-tannic red on the menu. Fine. For $32 a glass, I would not order what I got again. We headed to a restaurant after and got $14 glass pours that we preferred.
