Soon enough all my reviews will be DoorDash food I get while working at the hospital! Due' goes on the list as well. I've often heard this place be referred to as the "Chipotle" of Italian Food, and honestly I love the concept! Although known for their pasta (and very fun shapes while we're at it!), they also have other entrees and sides to order from as well. For my first time here, I opted to go with a classic pasta. The concept here is great in which you can select a sauce (mostly ranging from $11-$14), a noodle shape, and an additional side for an added charge. I ordered the Bolognese with the Creste Di Gallo. Though we ordered takeout, you could definitely tell that the pasta was fresh! I loved the texture, chew, and just how well each shape could complement the sauce. Speaking of sauce, I loved the bolognese, it was rich, flavorful, and didn't feel too overwhelming. It definitely made me want to come back and try the other sauces. It's hard to find affordable Italian food, however Due's provides a great solution that offers a lot of customization. I'll definitely be back!

If you want an authentic menu, that's definitely the place to go with Italian music playing in the background. However don't expect a server to serve you. You have to order at the register and they'll call your number or your name when your food is ready. I had the spaghetti carbonara which was simply amazing and well cooked Al dente. I definitely recommend checking it out. I loved the food so much that I went again to try another menu item which was the ragu and it surely didn't disappoint.

We were originally planning to go to another restaurant, but with a two hour wait, we decided to try this place instead. When we walked in, only two tables were occupied on a Friday night in Cap Hill, which should have been our first warning. The concept is like a Chipotle for pasta, where you choose your pasta and sauce, which sounded great. I understand pasta is supposed to be al dente, but I wasn't expecting it to be practically uncooked. Ordering is done through a kiosk. I ordered pesto pasta with tofu and bread. The sauce was okay but lacked flavor, and the pasta was extremely undercooked chewing it felt like eating raw flour. The bread was definitely stale and tasted like it was weeks old. The only thing I liked was the fried tofu, which I saved for last, but by the time I ate it, it was cold and tasted odd. I'm glad I ordered tiramisu to help cleanse our palate. Service was just okay you order at the kiosk and pick up your food at the counter.

We went here since most of the places in cap hill were booked. We went to this place and it looked more like a fast food pasta place. The food was bad and was dry and tasted stale. I had the meatball spaghetti and tiramisu and a side of bread. Everything was stale and did not taste good. Probably would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am a pasta lover so this is the place for me. They make their pasta fresh, which is very nice. I got a classic carbonara & it tasted spot on. It had a beautiful rich tasty flavor. I pair with some bread that taste even more delicious dipped in the sauce.

This is the fast food of Italian Food - 2.5/5 stars The pasta was very firm, although there is levels to each pasta that you choose on firmness the pasta was too firm, if they had took it out 30 seconds earlier the pasta would basically be crunchy. This is the chewiest pasta I've ever had. I understand that there is pasta that's al dente but this pasta was 30 seconds from being under cooked. The sauce did not taste traditional, it lacked flavor. The meat for the short rib was tender but also lacking flavor. I added pork sausage, which was also very underwhelming. Service 1/13/26 @5:04pm - 1/5 This restaurant is self order at an iPad kiosk. Then you are to seat yourself. When your food is ready the kitchen will call your name, You are to pick up your own food at the window. After you're done eating you are to buss your own table. Although there is nothing wrong with that, every establishment and business has their own service protocols, but when you are done paying the kiosk, asks you for a tip, which to me that option should be removed because a tip is based off service. The only service that was done here was the food made. The only interaction I had was someone welcoming me in. My best friend and I decided to try this place for the first time me and her are very lively people in the middle of us laughing at something we were loudly shushed. We gasped and looked around as there were only employees in the whole establishment in that moment. Once we were done eating, we bussed our own plates, but we ordered a bottle of wine so we stayed an extra 30 minutes to finish the bottle. Once we were done, we collected our things and started to walk out, once the door almost closed behind us. The lady at the counter yelled "excuse me!" so my best friend and I turned around then she continued to say " Can you buss your table" we looked at each other in shock- as we have never experienced this before, besides we forgot that this is a self bussing place in the middle of all the talking, but given the fact that we only left the bottle of wine that they provided and two glasses, which is something very minimal and to be stopped as we're out the door is unnecessary, and also slightly embarrassing as there was multiple other customers in the establishment in that moment. In my opinion, this should have been something that the lady could have stepped outside from behind the counter to pick up, which would have taken her less than two minutes. This company advertises warm and inviting atmosphere and this experience was far from it. Don't waste your time my best friend and I are certified foodies and I highly doubt you will experience something different than what I wrote in this review.

I was pleasantly surprised with how affordable the prices here were especially with it being in cap hill. You order at a kiosk and the worker was really helpful in walking you through it. I got the polpette with the added sausages and it was delicious! The place is small and pretty casual with it being self service so don't expect a fancy dining experience. I'm definitely coming back and recommending this place to anyone looking for a casual Italian meal!

It's been a long time since I've been to Due' Cucina and the portion sizes has changed greatly for the better. I remember having to order two entrees in the past to get my fill, but now, the portion sizes have gotten larger it seems and I definitely got my fill. The pasta is freshly made and there's a nice amount of choices as well as different type of sauces to try out. The price is very affordable for Capitol Hill, so you're getting great food for a good price. Most of this place is self service, so you order and pay at the kiosk and you pick up your food when they call your name. You get your own water and you seat yourself. It can be tough to find a table for a party bigger than 4, so try to come here in small groups or by yourself. Also, place is a bit small so this isn't fine dining. Feels more like fast pasta. But it's great food still!

I saw and add for BOGO bolognese so had to stop by and get it for lunch, you order at the counter and the guy who helped us was very nice and friendly and very chatty. We ordered some drinks and he delivered it to us straight away . You pick up the pasta from a counter from the back and it was done pretty quick, they also have their utensils and like salt and pepper and red pepper flake packets back here. I kinda wish they also had some in like a container as it feels a bit wasteful. The restaurant is decently nice and has a rustic casual feel. overall food and service was really good and I'd go back especially for these deals.

It was our last night with our son so I had to find some place for dinner. My daughter and I threw out some suggestions and knowing my family loves pasta, we decided to try this place. It didn't disappoint! There are several tables for seating. Street parking only. The menu is on the wall. On the kiosk, you pick the pasta and the sauce to go with it. It was all delicious! Good portion sizes except for the eggplant parmigiana (small). My family devoured their dishes. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend for the pasta lover!

Paccheri pasta with mushroom and white truffle oil

I went to Seattle with my family on vacation. I was craving pasta at night, so I googled and walked here. Of course it was rainy and drizzly in Seattle. The restaurant was busy and the tables were crammed together. The ambiance is nice, small and homey. There were nice wooden tables and metal chairs. The menu was huge on the wall, lots of options to make your own pasta. I ordered the paccheri noodles with the mushroom & white truffle oil sauce. The price of the pasta was reasonable, around $13. The portion of the pasta was fair, but I can't complain for the price. I considered ordering another pasta, it was that amazing! The mushrooms were tasty and seasoned beautifully! I wish there were more mushrooms in the dish but I loved it. My sisters shared a lasagna alla bolognese, they enjoyed it. The lasagna was sharable sized, not a full entrée in my opinion. The sauce was rich and zesty. The lasagna didn't feel heavy in taste or overwhelmingly disproportionate. My sisters were pleasantly surprised how yummy the lasagna was.

What a delicious meal and experience! My husband and I came here on a Friday night around 8pm and we were a bit nervous about how busy it would be but there was plenty of seating! You order at the kiosk first and then grab a seat. Their pastas were cooked perfectly and the sauces were so flavorful. We got the carbonara and bolognese and enjoyed both dishes with a side of bread. Clean bathrooms and really friendly service! 10/10 would come back again for more pasta!

We did find seating and there is seating in the restaurant portion, as well as down the stairs. It's a cute little place in the heart of pike place. We got the lasagna casalinga, from the farm, and from the sea pastas. Lasagna casalinga: I love lasagna but I've never had a white sauce lasagna before. I really loved this and I loved it a lot more than I expected. It has peas, sausage, and mushrooms, made with in house bechamel sauce. I thought this might feel super heavy and rich since it was a cream sauce but it wasn't! It was creamy without the feeling of being "too much" when eating it! That's always my worry whenever I eat cream pastas or sauces, that I can only eat a few bites and then feel full bc it the richness. The mushrooms, pea, and sausage worked so nicely into the flavoring of the lasagna and the sausage was flavorful and seasoned well. I believe it's a pork sausage which in my option always tastes great. From the farm: this was my absolute favorite! I always lean towards ragu or bolognese sauce, it's my favorite dish because the flavors become so pronounced during the cooking process. This was a bison ragu with perfectly al dente rigatoni. The bison wasn't gamey and pair so nicely with the ragu because it was able to get in all the crevices of the pasta. We opted for burrata as a topping which gave a really nice creaminess From the sea: this was a spaghetti with rockfish, pea vines, leeks, and harissa. The pasta felt a little Asian inspired, in Chinese cooking we steam whole rockfish and pea vines are a very common veggie dish, so I loved that the elements made me think of my culture. The harissa also gave it a spicy kick which was reminiscent of having chili oil or chili paste on the side at dimsum. While I loved the flavors of this it wasn't my favorite because it was a bit too light. I really wished the flavors were bolder and more pronounced. Rockfish/white fish is very mild fish so the taste is very dependent on the flavors you add to it. However if you like light flavors and fish that isn't too fishy, this is great! This is a really fresh dish so even though it wasn't my favorite doesn't mean it's not a great pasta! I can't wait to come back to try the next rotation of pastas!

He still talking about this place and won't stop talking about it. Mine of the other hand was okay; the taste is kinda odd to me, and it's kinda too salty for my liking. The fish were so small, like tiny pieces, I wish its bigger. My personal favorite of my dish is the Al dente part and the pea vine. Other than that mine was meh. The whole place is sooo cute and definitely a cute date spot!!!

Just wander along each aisle, you'll understand and be inspired. Also, what an expansive meat and cheese case with knowledgeable staff for your charcuterie needs! Upstairs you can find a decent selection of wine and spirits and an apertivo spot to have a glass and a bite. I was full from my pasta bowl at nearby Pasta Casalinga, but was eyeing the charcuterie cone. Imagine tasty nibbles to snack on while wandering the rest of the market. Back on the main floor towards 1st Avenue, there's a busy espresso bar and where one can get an Italian panini or pizza slices to go. Highly recommended while at Pike Place Market. Buon Appetito!

Just hot enough to keep you warm but not too hot that you couldn't enjoy. Great flavoring and service! It wasn't until I walked my 4th circle around Pikes Place area that I realized they had a whole deli and grocery store behind it and a wine bar upstairs! Wish I tried some of their food but was a great experience!

Cavatelli al guanciale; pasta with pork, garlic, and kale. A great compliment to the butter and sage pasta, the pork being so soft and flavorful. 2.) the Cavolfiore con bagna caoda; a roasted cauliflower with an anchovy sauce and lemon. Did not think that a vegetable could be the star of the show, but with that sauce, it was our favorite. Loaded with flavor, every bite was perfect 3.) Tajarin con burro e salvia; butter and sage pasta. The fine cut literally melted in your mouth, best to eat first while it's warm. This is a dish that stays year round on their menu and was highly recommended by our friends. We ordered the pastas in the half order which was perfect for 2. Your order comes with complimentary bread which you can ask for olive oil on the side for. Will definitely be back!

It's minimally furnished with just the right amount of ambient lighting. Secondly, it's Italian, but Piedmontese Italian if that means anything to you. We started with crespelle ($29) which is an Italian crepe. The version we ordered was stuffed with prosciutto and parmigiana fonduta with arugula salad. The crepe was light and airy and paired perfectly with the salty prosciutto and parm. Perfect starter. Honestly, all the pastas we ordered were absolute fire. Of the three, I liked the Tajarin Al ragù ($20/$34) the most. It's a fine hand-cut egg yolk pasta with pork and beef ragù. The pasta is so finely cut; it's delicate. What I liked best was the way the ragù sauce enveloped itself into the folds of the pasta. Each bite was cohesive and really intentional. The risotto was also quite good as well - that night, it was the risotto ai gamberi ($21/$35) which highlight spot prawns. The spot prawns were sweet and the Calabrian chili was a really nice complement to the sweet and creamy. Delish. I'm sure the risotto is great in any season. I must say - the best thing about the menu is the fact that you can order a smaller portion of any of the pasta dishes as to not have to fully commit to one. This is a superb way to eat. Live actually. Include Spinasse on any itinerary if you can.
