Another successful tourist trap! We were walking around Pike's place on a Saturday so pretty busy but thankfully we only waited about 5 minutes in line for some Mac and cheese. We just got a small bowl and I think it's perfect for sharing and they serve it piping hot! Mac and cheese was delicious and had an amazing bold cheddar flavor. The sauce is on the runnier side so my hack is to get a demi baguette from the French bakery nearby anti soak up all that extra sauce!

I've been in Seattle for over three years and I can't believe that I haven't tried Beechers. Beechers usually has a huge line, so plan accordingly. You can see where they make their cheese and that's pretty cool. Highly recommend their Mac n cheese. I don't even like Mac n cheese but ended up loving this one. Can't wait to go back again.

Good mac and cheese. The store wasn't that busy when I visited and the line moved quickly. I got a small serving of the smoked salmon mac and cheese, and am glad I didn't get a larger portion. It's pretty rich, heavy on the dill and salty. There were decent sized chunks of salmon in it. You can watch the cheese get made next door via a huge glass window.

This review went into drafts and I did not post. Here goes, I love watching them make cheese, the line was long and you can see people enjoying their grilled cheese sandwich. The reason I gave them a 4 is due to when I placed my order I gave them detailed information on my food allergies. They said no problem what I ordered will be fine. Long story short, my friend knows my allergies. She looked at the sandwich and I was given the wrong one. I will like to clarify that they did make it right afterwards, but if you live with food allergies this might not have gone well. Thankfully all well and grill cheese delicious.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich, World's Best Mac and Cheese, and tomato Tomato Flagship Soup

Beecher's was my favorite food that I tried at Pike Place Market. I visited Seattle on a business trip and had to make a stop at Pike Place Market. After stalking TikTok for all the best spots, Beecher's was at the top of my list, especially because I love their frozen mac and cheese. Located right across from the main sign, the shop was busy but small. There is no seating, only a long counter where you can stand and eat. The staff were very friendly and talkative and gave me some great recommendations. I ended up getting the grilled cheese, tomato soup, and mac and cheese. The grilled cheese was buttery and crispy and had their delicious Flagship cheese on it. The tomato soup might be some of the best I have ever had. It was so well seasoned and creamy. The mac and cheese tasted just like the frozen version, so I probably would not order that again. Overall, I really enjoyed this meal, and if I ever find myself in Seattle again, I will definitely be back.

A cool place to visit in Pike Place and grab some cheesy meals! Their Mac & Cheese was tasty. It was more so of a "pasta" style Mac & Cheese versus a baked Mac & Cheese. With the penne noodles and a bit more wet cream cheese sauce, so no cheese pull but it was good! I'd add a little salt, pepper, maybe a few other seasonings to add more flavor but also was good as is. The ambiance was rustic and gave old fashion Seattle vibes. Customer service was nice, and it was really cool to see the cheese being made fresh in house!

Aight this is lowkey embarrassing but... fam I've actually never had beecher's before BUT that all changed today. And yeah, I get the hype! The Mac and cheese was gasssss station. It's got a lil kick to it, which is super nice. The cheese is cheesing. The macaroni they use/the way they cook it just matches up perfectly. The only thing I wish they did differently.. or at least had an option to add is.. some form of protein hahaha. They did have a smoked salmon option but idk. I feel guilty eating just mac and cheese bc your boy is cutting. Some grilled chicken or something would be fire.

Next time you're in Seattle make sure to stop here and try the Mac n cheese. Soooo yummy!! Quick, friendly service. And you can see them making cheese! Loved it.

So excited to try Beecher's! We ordered the mac and cheese and the flagship grilled cheese and both tasted very similar! The cheese was subtle, yet has a tiny funk to it which I loved. I wished both had a sharper cheese flavor because I am a sharp cheddar girl through and through. I do love tomatoes in my grilled cheese though so that's a plus. Overall, not bad.

Cheese? Say no more. This was probably one of friendlier store fronts, when you walk in you're instantly greeted with the smell of cheesy, bready, garlicy goodness. I instantly thought of my friend Jenny who used to make cheese on her farms, it made my heart happy seeing the cool cheese machine. They had a bunch of samples to try out and I was so grateful, I wish we could have the chance to take more cheese home, I picked up some cheese sticks that I snacked on later and my husband order the Breadzel, he didn't want to share but I forced him and it was perfectly warm and so needed on such a cold day. Definitely a must when coming to Pikes Market.

Spotted this place while walking to Pike's Place Market and made a mental note to stop by before leaving Seattle. When you walk by you can see the team making and stirring and participating in the handmade cheese process. Their menu lists a handful or two of items- one being world's best Mac and cheese. I'm a huge fan of Mac and cheese and unfortunately I felt a little disappointed. It was not really cheesy but pretty soupy. The flavor itself was pretty good and had that "homemade" taste but when we ate the noodles, we were left with a cheese soup for most of our cup. I'd be interested in trying their grilled cheese if I came back.

I stopped by to try the Mac n Cheese that was recommended by some friends. The staff were polite, but there wasn't much need for interaction as I walked in knowing what I wanted to order. The Mac n Cheese was hot and served quickly after I ordered. They are known for making their own cheese at the restaurant and it was nice to see the process while we were in the small restaurant. The Mac n Cheese was so good. Definitely creamy and cheesy! It's a must try when you see a Beechers.

I came here while on a food crawl in Pike Place and was recommended by everyone we had to check it out!! There was a short line but it moved fairly quick and the Mac n cheese had its own serving line right there. The Mac n cheese was STEAMY so we gave it a few minutes to cool down while standing by the glass area watching the workers make the cheese. The Mac is more on the soupy side and I thought penne was an interesting choice but WOW it worked!! The cheese was sharp and tangy and just so yummy. We ended up getting a baguette at a nearby bakery to sop up the rest of the cheese sauce and that was definitely the move. 10/10 lives up to the hype!

Let's talk about the grilled cheese. Yes, it's already legendary. But add kimchi and suddenly your entire airport food worldview shifts. I didn't know I needed this upgrade until I had it, and now there's no going back. The cheese is perfectly melty, the bread hits that golden, buttery crunch, and the kimchi adds just the right tangy, savory kick. Comfort food with a personality. Beecher's somehow manages to feel cozy and indulgent in the middle of airport chaos, which is no small feat. Next time you find yourself wandering SeaTac with time on your hands, skip the sad grab‑and‑go options and seek this place out. Your layover--and your taste buds--will thank you.

We were lured over to Due' Cucina after having a fantastic experience with their fresh porchetta…read moresandwiches at the Camp Yelp event earlier this month. Fatty and tender meat, dripping with juices, on top of the perfect focaccia with an ideal crunchy fried crust and airy interior, not to mention the excellent marinated eggplant, tender and filled with tangy vinegar essence. I couldn't wait to give their actual restaurants a try, and that's where we found ourselves over the rainy weekend. This particular location is open and clean with extremely friendly staff. Ordering is really easy on the 3 kiosks in the front, although the pasta chef/cashier is also happy to take orders, offer suggestions, and help with any questions. The menu displays the level of al dente to expect with each type of pasta but can be adjusted in the order notes. They also have a very convenient monitor up near the kitchen that displays order status, whether in the preparation phase or complete. I especially love how this restaurant has bar seating in front of the fresh pasta making station. We were able to watch as the chef mixed up a batch of fresh spaghetti, measuring out the semolina flour and water (at least, that's all I saw her add to the combo mixer-extruder), preparing the die, and then extruding the pasta. And yes, as with any high quality pasta, they use bronze dies for extrusion here! The pasta is dried on racks for a bit to really give that al dente bite when cooked. Suppli Al Telefono ($3.70) - An order comes with a single piece nestled in a mini fry basket. This is somewhat similar to the more commonly seen (in the US at least) arancini. It's a smaller log-shaped fried croquette, with tender rice cooked in a fragrant tomato based sauce, stuffed with tons of gooey, stretchy cheese, and then deep fried to golden perfection. The breading is fantastically crunchy, contrasting against the much softer interior. It's a great pairing of texture and flavor. (5/5) Short Ribs Ragu w/ Fusilloni ($14.90) - The chef recommended the fusilloni with the ragu. The fusilloni, essentially a larger fusilli that has longer "fins", has plenty of spirals and crevices to catch onto the sauce. The extrusion is a little inconsistent, with some pieces being longer than others and others being more spirally, a sign of manual hand cutting rather than being machine sliced. Per the menu, the fusilloni is cooked until a "2" al dente level. This is actually more al dente than most Italian restaurants, meaning the pasta has a very firm bite, yet remains slightly chewy. It's definitely cooked through and pleasant to eat, although trending towards the too al dente side. The pasta is only lightly sauced, but what sauce there is clings perfectly onto the micro rough surface of the pasta. Each bite is consistent in taste with all the rich umami and tangy notes from the red wine tomato sauce. The parmigiano reggiano adds an additional burst of savory saltiness and the short rib, rendered perfectly tender, is given in enough quantity to satisfy. Due Cucina really does serve some great pasta. (5/5) Rustic Porchetta Sandwich ($11.90) - With how great the porchetta sandwich was at Camp Yelp, this is a disappointment. The porchetta, while still flavorful with somewhat anise-like and garlicky aromas, is completely dried out and tough. It's like the pork had been pre-sliced in the morning at a central kitchen, shipped to the restaurant, then placed in a dry heat tray for service. After the meal I confirmed my suspicions with the chef - the porchetta is prepared off site and and driven over every morning. The focaccia, so airy and crisp at Camp Yelp, is also subpar in store. It's floppy, completely saturated with oil, yet feels dried out on the interior. At least the eggplant hasn't degraded in quality too much. While still having a bite (e.g. not super tender), it's grilled and marinated until tangy and savory in a vinaigrette. Interestingly they serve the sandwich on top of a bed of lettuce tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette. The oils in the sandwich drip down while eating to add even more flavor. (3/5) I know that their porchetta is high quality when fresh, but I think the way they have it set up now makes a sandwich that's still tasty, but definitely could be much better. If they choose to open a specialty sandwich shop that roasts the porchetta in house, I'd definitely be a regular. With Due' Cucina, though, I'd stick with the excellent pasta. At the end of the day, pricing is very reasonable. For less than $40 after tax/tip, we both left satisfied. What a rarity for Seattle nowadays. And as a bonus, apparently they refresh the menu often. According to the chef, starting on Monday, Due Cucina will be introducing new pasta shapes, sauces, and different sandwiches. I'll be back for more pasta in the near future! The short rib ragu and bolognese were 2x pasta to sauce, which was surprisingly dry given they were swimming in oil. Pasta is obviously homemade and tasty. I love their lasagna, but it has spinach in it, which I'm intolerant to, so the first and last time I ordered lasagna at Beecher's was a pretty painful experience. During my most recent Beecher's trip a few weeks ago, my boyfriend ordered a grilled cheese and their salmon mac and cheese. I had a few bites of both, and they were delicious. The grilled cheese was perfectly crispy, and I loved the crunch it made when I first bit into it. The gooey-ness of the cheese in the macaroni was also incredible, and I loved the texture. Beecher's was here at the mall, but the junk part is I was full from snacking at the other mall and we are having a late dinner in about 11/2 hours. I want to try everything which I couldn't, I went for the mac & cheese that everyone raves about, but I couldn't do the grilled sandwiches, this will have to wait til next trip. The mac & cheese is available in classic, meat ball & salmon and comes in 2 sizes , 8 oz and 16 oz. I wanted to try the meat ball but they were sold out. I got the salmon, happy dance before I took my first bite & the verdict: That was some good mac & cheese, this is what I call mac & cheese. I can't compare other mac & cheese to this. Its my first time trying mac & cheese with salmon and it was actually unique and so good, loved the flavors, the hint of lime, dill, cheese, penne pasta, smoky salmon, & sauce. Tip., there's no bread crumbs on mac & cheese but ask for the fresh croutons to add to your mac & cheese. **Remember stop by here instead of dealing with the lines at Pike's Place.
