Very good priced happy hour with a good selection of appetizers to choose from and $1 off all draft beer and wine. We got most of the appetizers and they were all really good. I was impressed by the size and flavor of each of them. I never had pickles chips in the shape of long thin fries before, but gotta say this shape is a winner. The pickles were not too tangy and salty, which some pickles chips can be and also a major turnoff for me. The sauce they made to go with it had some pickles bits in it too that upped the flavor and meshed really well. The sausage rolls I had here were some of the best I've had, though I admit I've only had a few in my life. The sauce it came with was very tasty too, a little sweet and smoky. I mopped it up lol. There was a football game when we went and the server was considerare to ask if we wanted to watch. We got placed at a comfortable table and got to watch the game most of the evening. Server and host were both nice and attentive. Space is cool and looks and feels like a pretty legit British pub, including where you go downstairs to enter! Very good HH and game watching experience.

My friend and I were in the area and wanted to give this place a try since we were hungry and it was one of the only late-night options nearby. There were multiple levels of seating options as well as indoor and outdoor seats available, though we sat inside since the patios were full. It was quite warm inside! We had a new server at the time who was trying her best to navigate the process with us and answer our questions but we could tell she was either VERY new or received little training before waiting tables on her own. I ordered the wee pie flight but she came back from the kitchen to let me know it was sold out, so I had to choose an alternative, which was the fish and chips. The food was good, not the greatest but decent for a late night pub vibe. The serving of fish was a good size, and if you weren't starving you could probably split this with someone or get an extra piece of fish and split the fries. We also got the highland bread pudding for dessert which wasn't bad either - nice and moist and satisfied the sweet tooth (even if we were ridiculously full after).

Got lunch here and it was great! bartender was super nice. I ordered wings and my coworker got fries if I remember correctly. A lot of people were here I assume on lunch as well. I love the location and it was a short walk from our office. I'm sure I'll be back since I only work at this location on Wed. The space is pretty large and could host large parties if needed.

We have visited Elephant & Castle a few times now on our visits to Seattle. On this visit we managed to be in town on the last Sunday in June which means Pride Parade! The restaurant was very busy with all of the outdoor tables being used on this gorgeous, sunny day! Our host was so much fun. We had interactions with him many times as he passed our table after seating another party. We had a few chuckles with his quick wit. My SO had the Sunday Roast again which of course was devoured. I went for the leek and potato pie with a side of salad. Plenty of cheese on top of that pie, big chunks of potato and a mellow onion taste. That salad is excellent, lightly dressed with lots of texture. They do 'pub' food right. The restaurant is always clean as are the restrooms. There is a baby changing station in both the ladies and men's room (I am told). Parking in nearby paid parking garages. This is Seattle after all. Staff keeps a good eye on you, even when they are super busy. They offer a fairly good selection of brews, wine and other adult beverages as well as coke products.

This place is really cool it's located literally below the Hilton Motif hire in the basement of the hotel. I love the size of the place it has a big bar and a lot of room. The waitress and bartenders I encountered were super super cool and explained alot of what was good as well as beer recommendations, I really enjoyed the IPA selection they had. The burger was amazing. I added a fried egg as well as jalapeño, and the pretzel bites with the beer cheese obviously was great. I will always stay at the Hilton Motif so I will definitely be back to this place!

We were in town and we were looking for some place close to the hotel since we got there later in the day. We found Elephant and Castle. I am an English pub fan so loved the look as well walked up. We walked down to the host desk to see if we could get a table outside. There were a couple of tables so we were able to sit outside. We were given menus and waited for our waiter. He was quite busy but came over a few minutes later. I ordered the Old Fashioned and hubby ordered a beer. We also ordered the pretzel bites with dip and the fish and chips. Fish was cooked perfect and lived the Cole slaw. So much food. The drinks came out quickly. The food a little longer but it was pretty busy. Our waiter checked in with us often and brought another round of drinks. Visited the restroom which was clean and loved a couple of pictures there. Walking out I noticed a pool table in a lower level.

We really enjoyed the food here and our server Will was a gem. Shoutout to Will! It gave you the proper British pub feel ambiance as much as it can in downtown Seattle. They had several TVs with the game on and it was busy and crowded for a Wednesday night. The only negative we had was that it took a really long time to get our food. We had a 6pm res before a nearby 7:30 show and thought it would be plenty of time. We ordered around 6:10 and our mains arrived just before 7. Our server was working his hardest to get our food out in a timely manner so it seems like it was more a kitchen issue. We would like to come back again sometime when we aren't on a time crunch so we could enjoy our food more next time instead of scarfing.

Was here at the Hilton for the weekend and stopped here for dinner. Overall it was a good experience. Sliders were good. Wings were on the smaller side but still good. Poutine fries were delicious. Pretzels were yum. Drinks delicious as well I'd go here again

A colleague found this hidden gem. We loved the vibe and felt it was very authentic! Side note: it's a hot spot when local games are on! The food was delicious and plentiful. We shared so I got to try a lot of dishes. Everything was delicious with the exception of the pretzels and beer cheese... it didn't taste like cheese! Our server was friendly enough and attentive. He was responsive to our needs given our tight timeline, which we appreciated.

This visit to Elephant & Castle was based on my many times at the location in Bellingham (Bellis Fair), when I lived and attended school in the area. That location closed so many years ago, Trying the Seattle location did not disappoint, as far as low-key, but a fun slightly hidden Pub. The server was attentive, and provided great service. The menu is your classic dishes from across the pond. I stayed with more traditional choices like wings, and a French dip. Both were fantastic. The dimly lit dining and bar areas provide the right setting for you'd expect for a great experience, This might not be a regular visit for me, as parking downtown can be a hassle, but I will be back.

I was shocked, SHOCKED I tell ya, to see that the good ol' Elephant & Castle of my youth is still alive and kicking in downtown Seattle. I was staying at a nearby hotel, and looking for some food before an event, so we popped on in for a beer and some bites. The place has literally not changed since I worked downtown in my 20s. It still has that pseudo English pub feel, and is a bit dark due to being in a basement. We sat near the window and grabbed a couple of pints, then split a chicken burger and their feta dip. The food was good, and they had a decent tap list. Prices were pretty high - although I feel like I'm saying that a lot these days. We weren't overly impressed with the speed of the service! The place was pretty empty while we were there, although as it got closer to quittin' time we did notice some work-looking groups coming in for happy hour. Parking is sheer hell (or at least incredibly expensive) so plan accordingly.

This is a cool English pub somewhat hidden in the lower level of an office building. It was pretty busy on a weeknight (probably because the NBA Finals were on TV), but service was quick.

Such a great pub 23 selections for beer on tap and to watch sports. The bartender Nick too always great to have a conversation with.

It's really cute how the course spells out "SEATTLE," and I loved the little Space Needle to end the last of the mini golf holes. That said, there are only 9 holes and they're pretty small, so it goes by quickly. Drinks are all on tap and feature local/Washington breweries, which I really appreciated. I love supporting local! We came during their February deal and it was such a great value -- $45 for a pizza, two pint glasses to take home, two drinks, and unlimited games. Honestly, that made the experience feel totally worth it. Duffleboard was fun, though it looked a little outdated. They also had cornhole and a ping pong table, which made it feel like like there variety of things to do. Loved the vibes/ambiance (fun art and murals) and music. Overall, a fun spot for a casual hangout -- especially if you catch one of their deals!

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Our apps showed up and they were both delicious. Then 5 minutes later our main dish orders showed up. Wasn't too happy with that because we wasted time to taste our beers and snack on the apps. They need to work on their timing. Need at least 10 minutes in between the beer and apps. The food overall is admittedly top notch. Fish and chips FRESH! The fish was juicy and the fried crust was perfection. Pieces were large. They will ask if you want 3 or 4. 3 is enough. Huge layout with wooden picnic style tables. Outdoor tables if you're lucky to get one. Large tanks to brew beer surrounding the room and a merch table.
