    Kimchi Melt Sandwich

Definitely some of the best Mac n cheese I've tried. Extremely rich and flavorful. Tried the kimchi grilled cheese which was tasty but barely had any cheese. And it wasn't even melted! A bit disappointing but still tasted great.

Ambiance: No tables to sit available, just standing room with counter space to quickly chow down your food. Food: The creamiest Mac and cheese!! The cheese has a very rich flavor, and definitely worth the 20 minute wait. Service: Counter order service. Friendly people.

Place seems like it's always packed. Ordered the chicken and pepper sandwich and a small mac & cheese. Both were delicious. Both were a little pricey. While you wait in line or wait for your food order, you could watch them make fresh handmade cheese. This specific location is in the center of the busiest touristy place in all of Seattle, Pikes Place market, so parking sucks. there isn't anywhere to sit inside, so everything is to go. Service was fast and friendly with all the sandwiches made to order. They also had a little market connected to it where you could buy prepackaged items as well.

No food fascinates us quite like cheese, whether it's arranged on a beautiful platter, grated over pasta, or melted between two slices of bread. Cheese is a dairy product made by fermenting milk and draining off the excess liquid. Depending on the style, cheese can range in flavor from mild and sweet to savory and nutty to funky and pungent. It can be soft and spreadable, creamy and smooth, or firm and crumbly. It's been enjoyed in cultures around the world for thousands of years, and today, cheesemaking takes place on every continent except Antarctica. In Seattle's Pike Place Market, visitors to Beecher's Handmade Cheese have a cheese lover's dream come true. They watched a glass-walled cheesemaking kitchen firsthand on the crafting of their signature favorite, Flagship cheese, as well as many of the other award-winning cheeses when my partner, his family, and I visited in July. To our surprise, there was no wait when we arrived, which was unexpected given how popular this place is. Bite sizes of Flagship and Marco Polo cheese were available for samplings. From the very first bite, we were hooked by its rich, creamy texture and perfectly balanced flavors. While there is no dine-in option, it's strictly a pickup spot. Surrounded by the lively buzz of locals and tourists, visiting this establishment feels like a quintessential Seattle moment.

So good!! I honestly don't think I've ever had mac and cheese this good before. Beecher's Handmade Cheese is right at Pike Place Market. There was definitely a line when I went. Don't let the line scare you away. It moves fairly quickly and it's absolutely worth the wait. The Mac and cheese was yummy. It was creamy, rich, and just so comforting. Tried their sandwich which went well with the Mac and cheese. Keep in mind that there's no dining area here and it's pretty much standing room only. Definitely a must try when visiting Pike Place Market.

Finally got to try beechers cheese and why I've never tried it sooner, I'll never know. The line may look long, but they filter you through pretty quickly. The original mac and cheese is to die for. I don't think I've had anything like it to be honest. Definitely a must when visiting the market.

Ordered: - Mac & Cheese - good. had the a little baby spice kick - Grilled Cheese - yummy especially dipped in tomato soup, it hit so hard. To be honest I think I prefer the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo over the mac and cheese. - Tomato Soup - Cheese Curds - eh I don't care for them. I enjoyed it but it wasn't mind blowing to the point where I think waiting in line longer than 20-30 minutes is worth it. We got there about 15 minutes before they opened on a Saturday morning and were the first ones in line. The line went by pretty fast especially if you're just getting soup or mac & cheese. Sandwiches did take some time. We were in the shop for about 30 minutes after ordering since the parents enjoyed watching the cheese making process and we did notice the line died down to almost nonexistent a couple times.

LOVE THE CHEESE SAUCE HOLY COW!!! Quick service for how long the line was, so it looks concerning but goes by in a snap. If you get a sandwich though they said it's a 15 min wait so keep that in mind. The only thing is penne for Mac n cheese. We have so many noodle options in life, I'd love to see another noodle option that holds that delicious cheese. Make life exciting with a different noodle option!

The line was definitely well worth it!! It was quite long, but it goes by quickly. I think I waited in line and 15 minutes prior to ordering. The panini did take some time (~20 minutes) to pick up but the mac and cheese was scooped right away. I tried both world's best Mac and cheese and the Smoked salmon one. The smoked salmon was an easy 5/5. I love the dill, green onions, and smoked salmon mixed in with their iconic flagship cheese. I'm still thinking about it as we speak! The world's best mac and cheese was also super good, but I'm always seeking more adventurous flavors. Lastly, the panini was perfectly toasted and crispy with a nice cheese pull! It was really good, but the smoked salmon mac and cheese was magical to eat! The store is average sized and they have a standing area near the factory for you to eat and see the cheese making. No seats inside, so many were just eating the food outside on the sidewalk.

Well, this is one of those places in the Pikes market vicinity that there's always gonna be a line. We were lucky enough to visit early on a Tuesday morning when there was hardly anybody there right after they open. Passed on their world, famous mac & cheese, but did go with the basic grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough... Hands-down, the best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever been served in my life. Perfectly grilled sourdough and cheese that had a wonderful taste. If you do get the opportunity to stop here at some point, you definitely can't go wrong. To be honest it's worth waiting in a line for Fore.

Great Mac and cheese! You get it super fast. You get to see how it's made. Not to expensive, about $15 for a large. There was a food tour that stopped here that I think would be fun to join next time!

Beecher's is a popular spot at Pike Place Market in Seattle. I came during a weekend noon and the line was long. I recommend coming early morning or near evening to avoid waiting. I got their small world's best Mac and Cheese. It wasn't the cheapest, but the quality was there. It's best for sharing because the flavor can get repetitive and overwhelming. I personally thought the cheese sauce was too funky, so it wasn't my cup of tea. It also comes in a paper container that's very hot to the touch. Visitors can see their cheese making process through large glass windows inside and outside the building.

This review is based on one bite of food. It was a very good bite though. I got into town and went to Pike's Market and went to Beecher's first thing. My hubby had tried it back when it was brand new back in the day and well, we have been eating that stuff ever since. MIL used to order it for us and then it became available in the stores later. I was super excited for my tuna melt and my kid the kimchi grilled cheese. After ordering and waiting for the food after a very long day of travel, we went in the market to get a drink and we asked a lady working where a good place to sit was. She told us to go onto-the back patio. So we did. And all tables were completely full. So we sat on a cement barrier/step, up against the building. I unwrapped the sandwich extremely excited to eat it! I took one bite (the sandwich was in front of my mouth....and then I was attacked! I didn't even see it but all the sudden i see a big white blob in my face and I find my arm holding the sandwich pulled to the side. Before I know it I'm fighting with a seagull, a rather huge one at that, who swooped in, buzzed my kids hairline (according to her) got in my face and grabbed onto my sandwich. I was prepared to fight this bird but then I realized he was touching it, it was no longer edible, so I let go and watched my $14 sandwich be eaten by this asshole seagull. I never was so stunned and sad at the same time. That bird even had the gull after stealing it to voraciously eat MY sandwich in front of me. And then all these people were starring at me saying "did you see what that bird did to that lady?" My kiddo ate her sandwich, enjoyed it and proceeded to laugh at what happened. I was really embarrassed and pissed. After coming all this way, I felt tricked out of my sandwich by a bird and wanted to cry. So yes, my review is based on one bite. Damn bird. The moral of this story is when you have yummy Beecher sandwich or any food don't eat on that cement slab or the patio swarming with pigeons because they are frigging bold. You may be a victim of your sandwich being stolen and your kid laughing about it for days. Not to mention PTSD anytime a seagull makes a noise you the rest of the trip! I'm so sad not to have had a Beecher's sandwich.

Happily, it delivered! We split the porchetta sandwich, which was quite tasty. Now, I will say it is not quite at the gold-standard level of the porchetta sandwich from the Roli Roti truck in San Francisco, but that is an extremely high bar. The bread here was fantastic, and the sandwich itself was full of flavor. The inside is cute, and watching two guys dedicate their lives to making sandwiches in the open kitchen is part of the fun... I also spotted a tray coming out of the oven that looked like thick, PERFECTLY crispy bacon, - so whatever sandwich that was going into is definitely what I'm ordering if I ever get here again. One warning, though: I hate the chairs. I am not a skinny person, and these chairs are just uncomfortable. There, I said it. Great sandwiches, fun little spot, and I would absolutely come back. Just please, someone, rethink those chairs!

6/10 Cubano sandwich 6/10 Porchetta sandwich…read more 5/10 cold ham sandwich 4/10 seasonal soup I had high expectations after a family member was recommending the sandwiches here. The interior is cozy and old world city vibes. Not a ton of seating and it can take a bit for getting your sandwich. It took 30-40 minutes to get our sandwiches at lunch time. After we already had waited in line. There was a line out the door when we got there. You order on a tablet and several people in front of us were quite slow ordering and it made the line take awhile. We waited at least 10-15 minutes in the line. They have an order ahead option I would utilize next time. The seasonal soup was kale and potato. It was very bland and watery. I wouldn't get it again. The bread was tough and chewy. You definitely get a jaw workout. Both of the warm sandwiches could have used a side of Au jus to soften the bread. The meat looks generous, but they do the sandwich trick. You fold the meat in the middle to make it look generous. But the ends are basically devoid of meat. Maybe a sliver. Flavors were really good. The mustard on the Cubano had a nice kick. Porchetta had a kick from the chimichurri and pickled peppers. Both were a little spicy and my son didn't love it so we ordered him a cold ham sandwich without the mustard. The cold meats are high quality as well, but definitely a little plain compared to the warm sandwiches. Overall 5/10 experience though. More evenly distributed meat and softer bread it would be A solid 10/10.
