Fantastic pizza! Nice variety of types to select from on the menu. We are lucky to have such a great pizza joint in Eugene!

Customer service was 5 star but the quality was ehh... I would give 3.5 stars if allowed. I was super happy with the gluten free crust but no vegan cheese options is a little disappointing. While I have accommodated to pizza without cheese and asked for mine to be GF and DF, mine did end up coming out with cheese on it. Being on such strict diet due to allergens, I constantly feel like I am being "extra" so I feel uncomfortable to speak out when my order comes out wrong. I do not expect people to understand unless they are under the same stipulations. read more

There are some great pizza places in Eugene. There are also some great people in Eugene. Then there's Mezza Luna - where those two worlds collide. After Sizzle Pie closed its doors and fired everyone we gave Mezza Luna a few more shots. Unfortunately it's just sort of "Okay" these days. Considering the cost of the pies and ingredients we were expecting much tastier food. It sucks to see, but the quality of food has gone way down hill over the years. My family and I have even considered getting chain restaurant pizza because this place is such a let down. However we ended up not buying much pizza anymore and just making it ourselves. I didn't give it one star only because I have had worse. Not exactly high praise. The crust was okay, not tasty. Everything was quite bland and my taste buds were not at all engaged. Love it hear. The vibes are great and the food is greater. Our favorites are the cheese slice and a Caesar salad. I never ask them to make the savory garden or the BBQ chicken or the bruschetta because I don't like to make those. The one with short brunette hair (mullet) at the counter is my personal favorite!!! I also love it when the tall brunette with tattoos is in the kitchen- then I know it'll be a good slice. Music is always on par and the wall art is fun to look at. Will come back soon! read more

As a person who eats primarily a vegan diet I stumbled across the vegan pizza and had to try it. It was very good. As good as a cheese less pizza can be a maybe better. But not only was the vegan pizza very good but the traditional pizza was excellent (as I was told). What set both pizza's apart from others is the crust. Thin and crispy, with excellent flavoring, the crust is fantastic. The foundation of the pizza here should make all of the creations here excellent. I highly recommend this. On a slightly negative note the beer selection was very limited. So if you are looking for varied fresh beer go elsewhere but if you're looking for great pizza in Eugene, go to Mezza Luna! read more

Unusually didn't take my order until after 5 to 7 minutes in a semi empty building with only 2 customers who were already eating. The first worker just glanced at me and walked away while she muttered something unintelligible. Second did almost the same thing. She was packing a pizza for some other order. Was looking for a quick bite passing through Eugene and found this gem. We tried the 2 specials if the day and 2 slices of cheese for the kiddos. Thin crust, crispy and full of flavor. Staff was super friendly and even slipped us an extra slice because the patron behind us thought his slice was overheated and too crispy. I think it was actually just right. Stopped here for dinner the other night. We enjoyed our pizza and garlic knots but we found both to be a litle doughy. Service was fair but we waited quite a while before even being told that we needed to order before being seated. Atmosphere was average at best. You order at the counter, then you grab a table and wait for the our food to be brought out. They also have pizza by the slice. FOOD-4 STARS BF Ordered a whole pizza for himself thinking we would be able to finish it but definitely couldn't. They pack on the meat which is great. So then I ordered a calzone. Thinking it wouldn't be too big, i also ordered a small Ceaser salad. Once the calzone came out to me. I literally said " OH MY GOSH THAT HUGE" half of it was way too much for me. Favorite pizza place in the city thus far. Thin crust, New York style (folks from NYC will disagree because they always protest, but relative to other pizzas anyway). Topping combinations are thoughtful and more sophisticated than the usual. Greekish pizza is covered in artichoke hearts and olives and feta and that kind of thing, the mushroom pizza has three kinds of mushrooms plus goat cheese, etc. Caution, though: you must be a garlic-lover to enjoy this place. Not only are many of their pizzas sprinkled with entire cloves of roasted garlic, but the sauce itself packs a punch--perhaps even a hair too much at times, making it less enjoyable to eat the sauce raw on the side if you like dipping crusts in something. Such a hidden gem!! Stayed in Eugene for a weekend trip and stopped by this pizza shop for a quick bite and I'm so glad I did! The pizza was so good we ended up coming here 2 days in a row! Moved here from out of state and have ordered several different pizzas from various restaurants, by far our favorite.

Took the family out for some pizza and salad and decided on Mezza Luna for a couple reasons. One, close to home, two they have limited outdoor seating and three, we've heard good things about their food. We ordered a large Verde salad which was plenty for 2 adults and a kiddo, we were able to even take some home. Fresh, greens, tomatoes, garbanzo beans and cucumbers. Ordered a medium Four Friends which is a tangy, smoky combination of Gorgonzola, Parmesan. Smoked and regular mozzarella cheeses on a olive oil and garlic base. If you like smoky then don't skip this one. The crust was crispy and chewy. Quote from the 10yr old...."why do my friends not eat the crust, this is amazing." I would of given 5 stars but the staff was just blah, it was fine and they were attentive. There was a lack of joy which sadly changes my experience because I get as much out of their attitude as I do the food. Let's blame it on the heat, we will be back. read more

We were in them mood for pizza and heard about this place. Once we read the menu we decided these were probably the most creative pizza's in Eugene. They're really big, too, one large feeds four people, easily. Of course, we had to sample the cheese pizza and the garden pizza seemed interesting as well. The large chunks of artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, spinach, peppers and roasted garlic and onions made for a nice combination of flavors. The mushroom pizza was great too, with ample mushrooms and cheese. The crust wasn't anything special, it's not about the crust here, the flavors were in the ingredients. I usually go here for lunch, and they have a pretty awesome lunch special of a slice and salad. I can't remember exactly how much it is but it's very affordable. I've also had their calzone and it was awesome. Their garlic bread knots and garlic cheese bread knots are unsurprisingly phenomenal if you're dire need of some extra calories. Their whole pizza prices are definitely on the higher side but you're also paying for quality. This puts Dominos, Pizza Hut, and Papa Johns to shame. They have a great vegetarian option menu and I believe they even offer gluten-free pizza as well (don't quote me on that). read more

I've eaten here twice now and will definitely be making this spot one of our go-tos. The pizzas are thin with a semi-thick crust. I'm a crust lover, so I appreciate the in-between thickness. The Hearty Fungus is absolutely delicious and one of my favorite pizzas ever. The garlic cheese knots are fluffy and pure heaven. We've tried a couple of the salads and they're perfectly dressed and the blend of veggies are on point. I believe they only have 3 beer taps, but there are also bottled beers to choose from (I feel like they have wine too, but beer's my thing). Went to Mexa Luna had a slice of pizza it as a very large piece of pizza. People here are very nice.

I went here the other night and it wasn't too busy. Paid for our order and waited forever for them to bring out the wrong pizza. They did apologize and let us keep the incorrect pizza and eventually brought the new one they made, which was our original order. It was just super inconvenient and not worth the wait (approximately 2 hours) and price. If you decide to come here, make sure you have time, because we didn't and ended up missing the 1st quarter of the Ducks' game. read more

You serve yourself utensils, condiments, beverages, etc. The young woman working the register was very helpful and accommodating to our family of 7.
