This is a $27 dollar medium pizza... - A pizza with pepperoni slices, green peppers, and onions on a cheese and tomato sauce base is shown in an open cardboard pizza box. The pizza appears freshly baked with a golden crust, and the box is lined with red and white checkered paper. The setting suggests it is ready for consumption, possibly from a takeout order.

I cannot believe that I spent $59 on two crappy pizzas. The service was nice, but honestly what a joke.

Zorba, small with no oives - A pizza with a thin crust topped with melted cheese, spinach leaves, and garlic slices is shown on a round metal tray. One slice has been removed, revealing the toppings and crust. The pizza is placed on a gray table surface, and part of a black object is visible at the bottom right corner.

The pizza is really solid! The textures were all correct and there was plenty of cheese. The staff was also friendly and there's seating inside.

A slice, a salad, and a beverage. Solid lunch specials.

Pegasus offers an awesome lunch special. A slice of pizza, a side salad, and a beverage. It'll run you between $8-9.50 depending on type of slice and salad. I personally recommend the Gorgonzola Pear salad. Simple ingredients but they do it right. Yum. I'd love to give Pegasus 5 stars because their food and their staff are great, but, they need to rethink the cost of toppings. My favorite pizza has peppers, onions, and black olives on it. Most places offer a "3 topping" option for a few bucks more. It was going to cost NINE DOLLARS to add those 3 veggies to our pizza. I mean, it's onions, not lobster. No thanks. We got a plain cheese instead. That's my only negative for the place. The rest is worth all the stars.

1 star - 5 stars for the bartender, -4 stars for the restaurant. My suggestion - SKIP THIS PLACE! If you're in dire need of pizza, buy it next door at PC Market of Choice. But, DO NOT go to this Pegasus pizza location. Here's why... When you first walk through the door, you find a great looking location. It is bright and friendly. They really did a good job of converting the prior restaurant (Black Rabbit), which was dark and stuffy, to a friendly pizza place atmosphere. In addition, they kept the bar around back, which serves beer and wine. However, the experience goes down hill from there... If you're really lucky, you'll be greeted by a host / waitress who is friendly and outgoing - I think she said her name is Morgan - she came back to our table three times to see if we were in need of anything, and if the food was to our liking. She was very professional and very friendly... However, If you're not so lucky - which is more likely the case - you're going to be greeted by a not so friendly host / waitress - she wasn't actually around long enough for me to catch her name - if I were to describe her, she's shorter, has brown hair, medium build.... Honestly, I'm not sure why this other person is even in the service industry - she's rude, and incompetent. She greets you with a fake smile, and an even more fake 'sit anywhere you like' greeting. After the initial oh-so-awkward moment, she'll follow you to the table you choose, throw the menus on the table, and briskly walk off. (it was such an awkward moment, we even discussed amongst ourselves if we had sat at a 'the wrong' table, or what we might have possibly did to piss this person off) As if enduring this person as our host wasn't enough, we then have to endure this person as our server! Oh my! After waiting for what seems like an eternity, she finally arrives at our table to take our order. (we discuss what she might be busy with, as there are only two tables occupied in the entire restaurant) Our pizza arrives at the table...and what do we find? it's made wrong! (this starts the discussion of how hard can it be to put two ingredients on a pizza, with a third ingredient on half?) In addition to that discovery, we go to serve the made wrong pizza, only to find it's burned on the bottom and around the edges! Burned? Seriously? I'm 90% sure our pizza was the only pizza in the oven! How do you burn the only pizza in the oven? However, we're starving...so instead of sending the pizza back, and enduring what I can only describe of as a troll of a host / server, we decide to eat the ingredients off of the top of the pizza with our forks... And so ends our first experience at Pegasus Pizza on Willamette... Wanting to give the place more than one chance - we have visited the campus location over the years and have thoroughly enjoyed the food and service there - we decide to go back a few more times... Here is a summary of our visits... Friendly professional host /server - 1 out of 7 visits Rude troll unprofessional server - 3 out of 7 visits Friendly professional bartender server - 3 out of 7 visits Wrong pizza - 2 out of 7 visits Burned pizza - 4 out of 7 visits And although the prior experiences had been an overall poor experience, we decide to give Pegasus Pizza on Willamette one last chance...what follows, is a description of that experience... We arrive to find the place fairly busy in comparison to the past - which really surprises me, considering our past experiences....We walk in the front door - and since there is no one at the register (in the front) - we seat ourselves. Hoping to avoid 'the troll host / server', we seat ourselves in the last table below the television, across from the bar. The bartender comes over (he's very professional and friendly), greets us with a smile, gives us water, then takes our order. (we both look at each other and talk about how hard it must be, to be professional, and take your craft to the next level, yet only to be stuck in an environment such as this) We're waiting for our pizza, and enjoying our conversation, when we see 'the troll host / server' walking toward our table - gasp! She arrives at our table - and in a voice that I can only describe as a step sister scolding Cinderella - she tells us, 'I need you to move and make room for three children I don't want to sit in the bar'. Stunned, we reluctantly move into the bar. (we ask ourselves, did we really just get asked to move from our table? in 20 years of eating out, we can't recall ever being moved from a table we were sitting at..wow) Hoping to salvage this last experience, we get our pizza to go... So we get home, open the box, and what do we find? A burned pizza! Absolutely hilarious! We couldn't have written a better ending to our experiences with Pegasus Pizza on Willamette...

Salads, pizza, and service thumbs up! I'd come back if I'm ever in Eugene again. Servers went the extra mile. Loved the bread knots :-)

Not sure what more I can say other than good pizza. Pretty much the only place I order from. TJ Taxis is delicious.

Wow! This food is insanely delicious! As we knew that we would be passing through Eugene yesterday,…read moreI started looking up restaurants. I was enticed by the pictures of fresh salads and wood fired pizzas. We ended up getting a few pizzas, a couple different pastas. They were all so flavorful (not salty) the texture of the gnocchi was so soft and absorbed the flavorful sauce. We were all blown away. We used QR to order, and were advised to order in waves. Drinks first. Everything came out promptly, even though the restaurant was pretty full. The last few days we ate at some incredible restaurants. Cold Springs Tavern in Santa Barbara, Nepenthe in Big Sur, then we come to Osteria DOP and all agreed the food here was unmatched. The best. For driving many hours, I liked that the atmosphere was casual, but it still looked modern and nice.

Their food really does live up to the hype. The pizza has a perfect airy, charred crust with just…read morethe right amount of crispy and chewy. The pasta was a nice al dente and had a good coat of sauce. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the food came relatively quickly! The restaurant has limited tables, so expect a wait! There are also bar seats and seats that face a wall. There are QR codes at tables to scan and place your order, and the waiters that bring/bus food were super friendly. All and all, Osteria DOP was a great experience! I will be back to try out more items from their menu.

If you've ever wandered the streets of Eugene, Oregon with a little nostalgia in your chest and a…read morehunger in your gut, you already know there are some places that aren't just restaurants they're landmarks of memory. And Track Town Pizza... well, that place doesn't just serve slices it serves time itself. Let me set the scene. I'm posted up at the Hayward Inn, a stone's throw from the sacred ground of Hayward Field. Every visit, no matter how many years pass, there's a ritual: lace up the memories, walk the same streets, and end up right where the legends linger under the warm lights of Track Town Pizza. You walk in, and there he is... Steve Prefontaine... staring down like he never left. Not just a photo more like a reminder. Now here's a little flavor for the soul: Track Town Pizza opened back in the late 1970s, built right in the heartbeat of what folks call "TrackTown USA." It became a hangout for runners, students, dreamers anybody chasing something. And yeah, over the years, plenty of local characters passed through bartenders, staff, regulars who became part of the story. Guys like Steve Fontaine? They weren't just pouring drinks they were part of the era, part of that gritty, analog Eugene vibe. We're talking decades back now roughly 30 to 40 years ago when this place felt like a clubhouse for the track-and-field faithful. But for me, this isn't just history it's personal. When I was younger, I didn't have much... but I could run. And like a lot of kids trying to find their lane in life, I found mine looking up to Prefontaine. The way he pushed, the way he talked "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." That stuck. Still does. So every time I walk into Track Town Pizza, it's not just about grabbing a slice it's like shaking hands with that younger version of myself. The kid who believed grit could take you somewhere. And let me tell you the pizza? Still hits like a victory lap. Old-school, no nonsense, loaded the way it should be. No gimmicks. Just honest, legendary pies that have fed generations of runners and late-night thinkers. So yeah... five stars doesn't even cut it. Because this place isn't just my favorite spot near campus it's a time machine. It's a shrine. It's a reminder that dreams don't die, they just wait for you to come back and visit. And every time I'm in Eugene, I do just that.

Like if the pizza gods held the Olympics and awarded gold medals for cheese, crust, and pure happiness, this place would sweep the podium. The crust? Perfect. The cheese? Glorious. The toppings? A majestic avalanche of deliciousness. One bite and I briefly considered moving to Eugene and building my entire life around being within a 3-minute radius of this pizza. Honestly, if aliens landed tomorrow and demanded to know the pinnacle of human achievement, I'd skip the pyramids and just hand them a slice from Track Town Pizza.
