Was so excited to try this place, my son had recommended it. I am so glad I did. The fusion pizza's…read moreare just unique and so good. These are far from your traditional pizza (which I'm used to). I was leery about steering outside of the comfort of standard pizza menu....I am thrilled I ventured into R Pizza. They are truly the Bomb! The thin pizza isn't really thin which is perfect and it is flavorful in it's own right. We had the Paneer Tikka Pizza- Goodness it was so delicious. Very flavorful, crunchy crust bottom and soft doughy crust middle... perfect. We also had the BBQ pizza that had a BBQ drizzle on it in addition. We added hot peppers to it... added even more perfection to it. The service was incredible. Prices are fair and in today's economy, you can't beat that. You get what you pay for and you pay for amazing pizza for a great price We took our dessert to go- definitely must try the Rangoli Cake- A must try if you haven't tried them yet.

This was my first time trying R pizza. I had the personal pepperoni pizza that is hand tossed. The right amount of tomato sauce, great mix of Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and not too much. I did ask for extra pepperoni which there was one in every bite. The crust delicious! The pizza as a whole....mmwah! Chef's kiss. I absolutely enjoyed this pizza and will be dedicated customer. The lavender lemonade was interesting and delicious and went well with the pizza that I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised The tamarind chutney was delicious on its own. It had enough sweetness to balance the tangy tamarind and was a great addition to the pizza. Additionally my order was ready on time and my interaction with the staff was great! So glad I found a great pizza place!

Even though they were busy they were friendly. Cocktails were on point. Best part is the pizza was just as good heated up the next day. Can't wait to come back with my family.

I'm torn on the score for Charred. I really wanted to like it more but I don't want to knock it…read moredown because they're new and still figuring things out. The restaurant is spacious, they could definitely fit a few more tables if they wanted. I like the design they're trying for with the old fashioned "soda bar". It is a bit unclear when you first enter that you are to go up to the bar (about halfway down) to order your food. They have an interesting mix here, pizza/pasta instead of burgers & shakes (which is what you think a bit for a soda bar). Staff were very nice and efficient. I wish I had actually looked at the salad bar toppings before ordering, because there weren't as many toppings as I thought and the ones that were there weren't my favorites. The salad plates were a bit tricky for keeping the greens on the plate too (a feature I hadn't really thought of before). However, my salad was quite good. The balsamic they have is yummy. The sign says ingredients are local sourced so no problem with that! Self-serve water was plain or fresh oranges infused. Our slices came out rather fast, which I was surprised by but after a few bites I think I figured out why - and here's where we get into why I am not sold on Charred. It seems to me that they make a cheese pizza, no toppings and THEN add the cooked toppings after (once they know the order). This speeds up order to table time and makes it a "fresh" slice in a way. My issue with it was that all my toppings were in the middle. All the flavor was piled in the center. Admittedly, it was a hefty pile. Anyway, I ordered the Homer (hot honey pepperoni) and all the hot honey was in the middle. I would rather have a fairly even spread of toppings. Is this what Detroit style means? I don't know but all that said it was ok. It could have been better.
