    Tropical soda

Excellent. The salad bar was unique with fresh veggies, radish, microgreens, pickled options and a good selection of dressings. The charred tomato pizza was delicious. The house made soda was yummy and not overly sweet. The tiramisu tower was obviously house made as well and seemed high quality. Will be back definitely

First service was very nice, employees were kinda and food was out pretty quick . We did go when they were mildly busy so not so bad . I ordered the Detroit style pizza one slice of wild pig and one slice of IMBIBED . The wild pig flavor I didn't love , but mainly bc the dough it's on seems like it comes pre cooked. It tasted like they pre baked the bread and added the topping after . The topping including the cheese was sliding off and when it slid off I can see the bread is tough and browned under . My point here is , seems like it's not cooked fresh and all together ? I'm wondering if that's because I just got slices . Not sure. I did like the flavor of the IMBEBED however same issue toppings were placed on top of a pre cooked bread . I was super excited to try them and am still going to try their artisan thin crust pizza but the Detroit style left me pretty disappointed. So not sure if the comment by the owner is sarcastic or not , was trying to leave an honest review but hey I guess I don't have to bring my business there . No biggie. And actually I've went to a restaurant by Mr Tony G in California and it was good so maybe yall read the book backwards . Also he deleted his original sarcastic comment .

Detroit-style pizza is here, and it's better than I could have imagined. I recently discovered that the Washburne cafe is sharing their kitchen with a new Italian pop-up serving an elevated Detroit-style pizza + more. I opted for a slice of the "Marge" which had fresh mozzarella, charred tomato and pesto ($9). The slice was huge! I took my first bite and was absolutely amazed. The crust was light and airy and reminded me a bit of sourdough, while the cheese had that perfect slightly-chewy texture. The sauce was robust and flavorful. It is obvious that there was a lot of thought behind the making of this pizza. I was initially worried that it would sit heavy in my stomach, but somehow that didn't happen. I also tried their weekly pasta special which used a cool volcano-shaped pasta with a spicy arrabbiata sauce and meatballs. This was also excellent and nicely presented. I was so impressed with the food that I spoke to the chef. He told me about the years-long process of experimentation that went into the pizza dough, with the use of several high-quality flours and a multi-day fermentation process. He also told me that the pasta specials will use innovative new pasta shapes invented by an award-winning company based out of NYC. I was informed that the restaurant will have their own dedicated space in downtown Springfield in the near future. I am excited about Italian food again and can't wait to come back next weekend to try more stuff of the menu!

    Pan-fried cheesy bread

I went here for the first time tonight with my partner and a couple of friends. We got there around 5:45 and there were only a couple of other tables that were occupied so we were able to order and find a table immediately. The person taking our order was very nice and friendly. The rest of the table got a whole pepperoni pizza and I got a square of the Tom Tom and the pan-fried cheesy bread. The food came out within about 15 minutes. It was so delicious! My pizza was fresh and flavorful and the dough was amazing. It wasn't too greasy and it was cooked just right. The cheesy bread was also super good and the whole table enjoyed it. The pepperoni pizza was finished by the three people eating it and they all enjoyed it a lot. The restaurant currently shares a space with the Washburne Cafe but they will be moving into their own space soon. The current space is cute, clean, and has plenty of seating. The bathroom is clean and gender-neutral. There's street parking right outside and both free and paid lots a bit further if you're willing to walk. I will definitely be back here! The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. It's absolutely worth a trip from Eugene.

This is the best pizza offered in the Eugene Springfield area at this moment. They currently are using the wash Bern Café as a location, but I did speak with a couple of the employees and they will be moving to their own spot in about six months just down the streetand I eagerly look forward to that until that you'll find me here once a week enjoying some incredible food more like a fine dining experience for pizza- I highly recommend that no matter what pizza you get you add the ricotta

This pop-up is Inside The Washburne Cafe From 5pm-9pm I believe it's Thursday-Saturday until thier new Main street location is ready. Amazing Best Pizza around town. Detroit Style Pizza. Plentiful - One $10 square piece is a fantastic deal for this quality. Local fresh ingredients, very flavorful and the owners are very friendly. They also offer a gluten free option. I can't wait for the new space to be open!

Both my self and my wife have spent extensive time in Italy and know Italian quarantine very well. So we were quite interested in trying this location based on many of the reviews a the menu. This is my verdict. I ordered the LASAGNA DELLA CASA, and the Tiramisu for the desert. First the lasagna, I read the Yelp reviews on this establishment prior to ordering. For the most part the reviews were good. I read two reviews that claimed that the sauce is canned. After tasting the sauce I can guarantee that those who are claiming that the sauce is canned clearly have a pallet that is fit for judging can dog or cat food. When it comes to real cuisine they have no clue of what they are talking about. I can guarantee the sauce is hand made. Even with it being take out I can tell you that. The lasagna was very good. The sauce was outstanding, the pasta was perfectly cooked and the Italian sausage is amazing. It has a perfectly balanced flavor with a wonderful flavor of fennel, not over powering yet its presences was very enjoyable. Overall for take out I was impressed. I will definitely be returning to this location to try this dish again in a dine in experience. Now for the Tiramisu. I have eaten this dessert in Italy at some very high end restaurants. As far as the Tiramisu at Beppe & Gianni's, it is on par with the best that I have eaten in some of the best Italian restaurants in and throughout Italy. And absolute symphony of wonderfulness. Let me remind you this was a take out order, that being said I am looking forward to returning to this location for the sit down experience. When I do that, I will take photographs of the cuisine and post them. It is not fair to an establishment to take pictures of takeout. When I went into the Restaurant to pick it up, I saw the plating and it was outstanding. The takeout box just doesn't do it justice. I highly recommend this location.

It's a bit tight and quite busy as it appeared every employee was performing multiple roles. The service was polite and prompt. We ordered smoked chicken ravioli and chicken piccata. The smoked Chicken ravioli was unique, but quite good. The smoky flavor shined through. The chicken piccata was loosely a chicken piccata. Still very good, but with some additions to the traditional expectation of a chicken piccata. It was a good pasta dish overall.

She's friendly and genuine. Good start - Focaccia arrives with a very zesty marinara. Nice - The Caesar salad arrives. Decent is the word but lacking any tang from lemon or vinegar. - Hubby's strawberry drop is yummy and kind of stiff. - Pastas come. My Alfredo is very good. It's tan (not Olive Garden white) with flecks of herbal green. I wanna say maybe sage, but that doesn't sound right. - Hubby's carbonara is very, very good. It's traditionally made with guanciale and this might just be that. - I want to add that the ambiance here is warm and inviting. The simple wood tables make it look comfortable. The soft hanging lamps and fairy lights make things warm and romantic. Why has it been so long for us? We will definitely be back.

Mozzi's doesn't have to it already did, decades ago…read more This spot has been holding it down in Eugene since the 1970s, and walking in feels like stepping into a time capsule that actually works. Not outdated it's dialed. No gimmicks, no nonsense just consistency that hits every single time. Now let me get this straight the calzones here? Hands down, some of the best I've ever had. Packed right, cooked right, everything balanced the way it should be. This isn't some rushed, thrown-together side item this is the kind of dish that makes you stop mid-bite and go, "Yeah... this is why this place is still around." I'll be honest, I read a few reviews beforehand and thought, "Did something change?" Nope. Walked in and it was exactly what I hoped for. Same classic feel, same solid food, same dependable experience. That's the beauty of Mozzi's it doesn't chase trends, it outlasts them. Value? Strong. Ambiance? Classic, comfortable, no-frills in the best way. Service? Locked in. Friendly, efficient, and they know what they're doing. This is the kind of place families grow up on. Team dinners, birthdays, random weeknights that turn into memories it's all baked into the walls. You don't stay in business this long without doing something very right. So let me make this real simple: If you're looking for an Italian restaurant in Eugene this is the place. Don't overthink it. Just go.
