    Moldy Canadian Bacon

Moldy canadian bacon and a messed up order which cost us over $150 for 4 large pizzas. We haven't ordered from here in a while but after our order for a family gathering Saturday Aug 9th; @ 3pm, and some family member feeling ill we don't plan on going back anytime soon. Buyer Beware ! ! !

Salad bar - A salad bar with multiple stainless steel containers filled with fresh vegetables and toppings such as cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded carrots, corn, peas, and leafy greens. Each container has a serving utensil, and the setup is part of a restaurant or buffet setting, with a reflective metal surface and a partial view of the interior in the background.

Love me a good salad bar and the pizza was good the decor is fun and the carousel is a neat bonus brings back many memories , fun for the kids and adult's I did pick Up to go this time and the service they were great and friendly and fast . Haha got home was so hungry I did not get pic of pizza next time

The view from the patio at Roaring Rapids Pizza Company. - The image shows a scenic outdoor area along a river, with a green metal fence separating the garden from the water. There are various bushes and trees, and a grassy area with picnic tables and chairs. The river is visible with gentle waves, and houses are seen on the opposite bank. The sky is clear with some clouds, indicating a sunny day.

Decent pizza with a nice cracker crust. Very good salad bar as well - it good to see them coming back post-pandemic. I know a lot of people sad they disappeared. Good games for the kiddos, and an excellent patio with exceptional views to chill out on with a pizza and a beer. You can't beat good food and entertainment for all ages.

Positives: * The place is huge! Large indoor and outdoor seating areas, can accommodate big groups easily. * Beautiful view of the river * Great for families with young kids (or old). There's a small arcade area and a free carousel inside. Outside has a large grassy area for kids to run around on and the entire patio is securely gated. * Ordering - You order at the counter for your pizza, grab a number and pizza will be brought out to you. There is a separate counter for ordering drinks (including alcohol). I personally like this type of service. Something as easy as pizza doesn't always need a full table service. Not-so-positives: * It's Huge! Lol, I know I listed this as a positive as well, but it also can be a bit overwhelming when the place is packed. We came in on summer Saturday evening so it felt like half of the city was there having birthday parties and whatever. * Pizza - Our pizza was actually quite tasty at the restaurant but failed to pass the "eating cold pizza the next day" test for my husband. He swears this is how you can tell if pizza is good or not so good, if it tastes good out of the box next day. It also seemed a bit expensive for what it was and the crust is very thin (which I don't mind but might be a deal breaker for some). There are other pizza places I would choose over RR.

The image shows a view of a river with a tree-lined bank seen through three large glass window panes. The window frames divide the scene into sections, and the interior includes a wooden wall and a carpeted floor. Outside, a metal fence runs parallel to the river, and the trees display autumn foliage. The sky is clear and blue, indicating a sunny day.

I visited here recently for the lunch buffet. The buffet itself is great, and it's only $9.99 for pizza, salad, and a drink. What I had a problem with was the options for kids at this time. The price for kids for this is either paying the full adult price of $9.99 for the buffet, or getting the kid meal which is pizza and a drink for $7.25 or salad only 1 trip through for $6.50. Considering my child is only 1 and will likely only eat half a slice of pizza I was very surprised that they would not let me buy pizza by the slice. My family and I frequent their competitor for a similar buffet and were considering coming to roaring rapids more frequently, but it's not worth it if we are paying adult prices for babies/kids. It would be really nice if they started offering pizza by the slice option during buffet hours OR charge buffet price depending on the childs age like most buffets do.

I always forget about this Gem of a place!! It's so great for outdoor seating and there is a vibe to this place that I love as it's been around and is sooo different from other pizza places! First of all I love the view from all the tons of outdoor seating!! The pizza I love the thin crust it's perfect!!! The carousel is a magical vision!! The only thing to this place for me is the cost is steep, we go to pizza often so I know comparable prices. So the vibe is absolutely something I love and is great for big parties.

Santiam pizza (meat lover's) - A detailed close-up image of a meat lover's pizza showing slices topped with pepperoni, sausage crumbles, ham, and melted cheese. The pizza has a golden-brown crust and appears freshly baked, with the toppings evenly distributed across the surface.

For the Eugene, Springfield area it's the best choice we have found for a consistently good pizza. They also have a great salad bar.

Nothing special, ordered a calzone. It was 'meh'. Once was enough for me. I was in town on business, I had to try it.

Very over priced, bland food. Does a swift business in birthday parties for kids. Stopped with my 2-yr old and it was not great.

I was enticed by the pictures of fresh salads and wood fired pizzas. We ended up getting a few pizzas, a couple different pastas. They were all so flavorful (not salty) the texture of the gnocchi was so soft and absorbed the flavorful sauce. We were all blown away. We used QR to order, and were advised to order in waves. Drinks first. Everything came out promptly, even though the restaurant was pretty full. The last few days we ate at some incredible restaurants. Cold Springs Tavern in Santa Barbara, Nepenthe in Big Sur, then we come to Osteria DOP and all agreed the food here was unmatched. The best. For driving many hours, I liked that the atmosphere was casual, but it still looked modern and nice.

The pasta was a nice al dente and had a good coat of sauce. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the food came relatively quickly! The restaurant has limited tables, so expect a wait! There are also bar seats and seats that face a wall. There are QR codes at tables to scan and place your order, and the waiters that bring/bus food were super friendly. All and all, Osteria DOP was a great experience! I will be back to try out more items from their menu.

And Track Town Pizza... well, that place doesn't just serve slices it serves time itself. Let me set the scene. I'm posted up at the Hayward Inn, a stone's throw from the sacred ground of Hayward Field. Every visit, no matter how many years pass, there's a ritual: lace up the memories, walk the same streets, and end up right where the legends linger under the warm lights of Track Town Pizza. You walk in, and there he is... Steve Prefontaine... staring down like he never left. Not just a photo more like a reminder. Now here's a little flavor for the soul: Track Town Pizza opened back in the late 1970s, built right in the heartbeat of what folks call "TrackTown USA." It became a hangout for runners, students, dreamers anybody chasing something. And yeah, over the years, plenty of local characters passed through bartenders, staff, regulars who became part of the story. Guys like Steve Fontaine? They weren't just pouring drinks they were part of the era, part of that gritty, analog Eugene vibe. We're talking decades back now roughly 30 to 40 years ago when this place felt like a clubhouse for the track-and-field faithful. But for me, this isn't just history it's personal. When I was younger, I didn't have much... but I could run. And like a lot of kids trying to find their lane in life, I found mine looking up to Prefontaine. The way he pushed, the way he talked "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." That stuck. Still does. So every time I walk into Track Town Pizza, it's not just about grabbing a slice it's like shaking hands with that younger version of myself. The kid who believed grit could take you somewhere. And let me tell you the pizza? Still hits like a victory lap. Old-school, no nonsense, loaded the way it should be. No gimmicks. Just honest, legendary pies that have fed generations of runners and late-night thinkers. So yeah... five stars doesn't even cut it. Because this place isn't just my favorite spot near campus it's a time machine. It's a shrine. It's a reminder that dreams don't die, they just wait for you to come back and visit. And every time I'm in Eugene, I do just that.

Like if the pizza gods held the Olympics and awarded gold medals for cheese, crust, and pure happiness, this place would sweep the podium. The crust? Perfect. The cheese? Glorious. The toppings? A majestic avalanche of deliciousness. One bite and I briefly considered moving to Eugene and building my entire life around being within a 3-minute radius of this pizza. Honestly, if aliens landed tomorrow and demanded to know the pinnacle of human achievement, I'd skip the pyramids and just hand them a slice from Track Town Pizza.
