A pepperoni pizza with cheese and pepperoni slices in a pizza box, partially sliced, on a gray surface.

In my opinion this is the best pizza in Lane County. I've never had a bad pizza from here and I've went here for over 20 plus years. The pepperoni pizza is a must try!

Rumpled menu. Sorry about the rumples.

Daaaaang, this place is awesome. Joey's is pretty much my Platonic ideal of pizza: thick, well-done crust, TONS of cheese, light tomato sauce, a generous hand with the toppings. (I opted for pepperoni. This was a good choice for me.) I appreciate the personal pan sizes existing, (sometimes compromise cannot be reached), but two hungry people put away a medium without any fuss. There were 0 leftovers. I didn't quite manage to figure out how the letter system for discounts worked on my first visit, but I can imagine it would be helpful for regulars, cuz this 'za ain't cheap. It's worth it, though, and all that cheese ain't cheap, either. Vibe is super casual, but the joint was clean and clearly cared for. Bring some quarters for the arcade games and, uh, can I come too? I want some more Joey's.

Amazing salads and a very good price. The pizza is really good also. I recommend ordering to go because the roof leaks in several places.

These are far from your traditional pizza (which I'm used to). I was leery about steering outside of the comfort of standard pizza menu....I am thrilled I ventured into R Pizza. They are truly the Bomb! The thin pizza isn't really thin which is perfect and it is flavorful in it's own right. We had the Paneer Tikka Pizza- Goodness it was so delicious. Very flavorful, crunchy crust bottom and soft doughy crust middle... perfect. We also had the BBQ pizza that had a BBQ drizzle on it in addition. We added hot peppers to it... added even more perfection to it. The service was incredible. Prices are fair and in today's economy, you can't beat that. You get what you pay for and you pay for amazing pizza for a great price We took our dessert to go- definitely must try the Rangoli Cake- A must try if you haven't tried them yet.

The right amount of tomato sauce, great mix of Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and not too much. I did ask for extra pepperoni which there was one in every bite. The crust delicious! The pizza as a whole....mmwah! Chef's kiss. I absolutely enjoyed this pizza and will be dedicated customer. The lavender lemonade was interesting and delicious and went well with the pizza that I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised The tamarind chutney was delicious on its own. It had enough sweetness to balance the tangy tamarind and was a great addition to the pizza. Additionally my order was ready on time and my interaction with the staff was great! So glad I found a great pizza place!

I opted for a slice of the "Marge" which had fresh mozzarella, charred tomato and pesto ($9). The slice was huge! I took my first bite and was absolutely amazed. The crust was light and airy and reminded me a bit of sourdough, while the cheese had that perfect slightly-chewy texture. The sauce was robust and flavorful. It is obvious that there was a lot of thought behind the making of this pizza. I was initially worried that it would sit heavy in my stomach, but somehow that didn't happen. I also tried their weekly pasta special which used a cool volcano-shaped pasta with a spicy arrabbiata sauce and meatballs. This was also excellent and nicely presented. I was so impressed with the food that I spoke to the chef. He told me about the years-long process of experimentation that went into the pizza dough, with the use of several high-quality flours and a multi-day fermentation process. He also told me that the pasta specials will use innovative new pasta shapes invented by an award-winning company based out of NYC. I was informed that the restaurant will have their own dedicated space in downtown Springfield in the near future. I am excited about Italian food again and can't wait to come back next weekend to try more stuff of the menu!

And Track Town Pizza... well, that place doesn't just serve slices it serves time itself. Let me set the scene. I'm posted up at the Hayward Inn, a stone's throw from the sacred ground of Hayward Field. Every visit, no matter how many years pass, there's a ritual: lace up the memories, walk the same streets, and end up right where the legends linger under the warm lights of Track Town Pizza. You walk in, and there he is... Steve Prefontaine... staring down like he never left. Not just a photo more like a reminder. Now here's a little flavor for the soul: Track Town Pizza opened back in the late 1970s, built right in the heartbeat of what folks call "TrackTown USA." It became a hangout for runners, students, dreamers anybody chasing something. And yeah, over the years, plenty of local characters passed through bartenders, staff, regulars who became part of the story. Guys like Steve Fontaine? They weren't just pouring drinks they were part of the era, part of that gritty, analog Eugene vibe. We're talking decades back now roughly 30 to 40 years ago when this place felt like a clubhouse for the track-and-field faithful. But for me, this isn't just history it's personal. When I was younger, I didn't have much... but I could run. And like a lot of kids trying to find their lane in life, I found mine looking up to Prefontaine. The way he pushed, the way he talked "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." That stuck. Still does. So every time I walk into Track Town Pizza, it's not just about grabbing a slice it's like shaking hands with that younger version of myself. The kid who believed grit could take you somewhere. And let me tell you the pizza? Still hits like a victory lap. Old-school, no nonsense, loaded the way it should be. No gimmicks. Just honest, legendary pies that have fed generations of runners and late-night thinkers. So yeah... five stars doesn't even cut it. Because this place isn't just my favorite spot near campus it's a time machine. It's a shrine. It's a reminder that dreams don't die, they just wait for you to come back and visit. And every time I'm in Eugene, I do just that.

Like if the pizza gods held the Olympics and awarded gold medals for cheese, crust, and pure happiness, this place would sweep the podium. The crust? Perfect. The cheese? Glorious. The toppings? A majestic avalanche of deliciousness. One bite and I briefly considered moving to Eugene and building my entire life around being within a 3-minute radius of this pizza. Honestly, if aliens landed tomorrow and demanded to know the pinnacle of human achievement, I'd skip the pyramids and just hand them a slice from Track Town Pizza.
