Their pizza is my favorite I've had in Springfield so far. Definitely worth a try. Love the saucy crust especially!

Just traveling through and saw the StageStop Pizza! I decided Pizza sounds great! Quick bite, after ordering I was chatting with Craig. Been open since February! This quaint little place is definitely a nice gem! If you're traveling through don't hesitate to come by the StageStop Pizza! You won't be disappointed in any way. I ordered the 3 Cheese Calzone and it came with a small cup of extra sauce! Which was perfect and chilled which added to the dynamics of the hot calzone! I can't remember the last time I even wanted to finish a calzone! Was a short wait for the food. Music playing in background was a vibe. They had the games on so was great to just sit back relax and eat some quality local handmade food. Calzone: 10/10 Ingredients were fresh, dough was cooked perfectly. Stage Stop is a great roadside stop! Salad - nice variety of toppings for the build your own salad. A family size for sharing would had been good. Veggies were all fresh and tasty but was surprised by the dressing in the bag. 4 stars. Pizza - loved the homemade and handmade pizza dough! Normally we wouldn't eat the crust but it was delish. Mom took me out for some local pizza last night and she'd really been looking forward to it since she's gluten-free. The restaurant was cozy, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. We grabbed a seat to look over the menu, then headed up to the counter to order. Mom chose a pineapple-and-ham pizza on a gluten-free crust, and I went with one topped with bacon, chicken, ranch, and a white sauce. We also ordered two glasses of wine and enjoyed them while our pizzas were made fresh. It took no more than ten minutes before they came out. Mom has struggled to find a gluten-free crust she actually likes, so this was a big moment--and she absolutely loved it. I really enjoyed mine as well. Stage Stop has become our new favorite pizza place. The pizza is great, the salads are fresh and tuned to exactly your preferences and the beer is served in frosty glasses. My wife and I split a medium and a salad and took some home. We like that the menu is interesting but isn't overwhelming nor fussy. The place feels like it is run by good people who care about your experience. I wouldn't recommend for large groups (more than 10) unless you sit outside, but for a double date or family gathering it is perfect! read more

This place is great! Fresh homemade crust and sauce. A great selection on tap. We had to try the cheeseburger pizza because....well it just sounded great. I loved it. The owner was so nice and he helped us with our beer selection. I will definitely be back! I liked the option of being able to be inside or outside. read more

Hubby and I went on a Tuesday in August. Service was rather inattentive and dismissive, but they were helpful in telling us the drink options. I opted for the rootbeer which came in a cute glass with their logo. We got salads to eat while waiting on togo pizza. They use the same toppings for the salad as they do for the pizza which made it somewhat hard to consume. I had to attempt to cut them up a bit more with my fork and ended up using my hands to break most of it up. Didn't bother me too much but wasn't expecting to have whole slices of bell pepper on my salad either. Noted. Hubby also didn't get what he wanted on his salad. He had marked wanting bacon on his salad and got ground beef. The pizza though! Wow! The crust is so good and the braid looks really cute. I did ask for no olives and still got them which was disappointing. But it was still very good. We will for sure go back for take-and-bake pizza again, but we'll probably just place our order ahead of time and pick up. read more

This was our first time here though we went to the restaurant that used to be there. We sat on the patio and sat on the couch which was awesome on a sunny day. The pizza was great and pair it with a beer it made for a wonderful Sunday. The staff is super friendly as well. read more

Have tried this place twice... well actually only ate the food one time, the second time I never got waited on and so after about 15 minutes of watching the help just walk around and yak at the locals, decided they didn't want my business that bad. The first time we went in I ordered gluten free which the crust came out raw and hardly any sauce on the pizza. My husband got a regular pizza with additions that we paid for yet never made it on the pizza and also his was undercooked as well. He said his crust tasted like a soggy soda cracker. Way pricier than other places. I also dont understand why they charge you extra for a box on a you take and bake, that should be included being they don't have the expense of cooking it for you but hey, just my opinion. Sounds like plenty of people liking their pizza so I'm sure they won't miss two locals from stopping. read more

New spot to stop as you head up the McKenzie just east of Springfield. Locally owned cool little place. Pizza was great! Similar prices to Papas or Abby's, reminded me of Countryside Pizza just thinner crust. People working there were super nice! read more

Great pizza with a good selection of beer and cider. Lots of outdoor seating which is nice after a day of hiking in the Willamette.

This seems like a fun little Mom n Pop pizza place. I am new to the area and have been here twice, both times, we had one (different types) medium pizza and drinks, both times they were excellent. Both times I was there, the service was excellent; they even let me try some of the beers before ordering. I will definitely be back when I am in town! read more

We got take out tonight and were so pleased! What a great option for folks out in Thurston and beyond. This is a thick and chewy crust that's cooked very well - not overdone or underbaked. The toppings were generous and flavorful, which is appreciated as this isn't a cheap price point. The taco pizza was especially good, if not the best taco pizza I've had. The beef was exceptional and the toppings were sent home on the side, keeping them fresh. They didn't add any type of taco sauce, though, and I was glad I already had some. Their patio will be really nice in good weather. We'll definitely be back! read more
