New huge location. Same great beers for beer folks. Huge space for all the meetings and parties you need.

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon -- perfect for stopping by Claim 52 new location to enjoy a craft beer and relax on the patio. The space has great potential, just like their former spot on Willamette Street. It's versatile, family-friendly, and yes, the car park is tight. With so many craft beer options in the area, you've got to be on your game. Unfortunately, Claim 52 wasn't. We waited in line for eight minutes with only one server pouring beer. Tables were cluttered and needed bussing. We found a patio table covered in glassware, so we cleared it ourselves and asked for a bar towel to wipe it down. Others were doing the same -- inside and out. There was no bus tub on the patio, so finding one became a bit of a treasure hunt. While waiting for our beer, I glanced over at the food ordering area. A young man behind the counter was more focused on his phone than helping the overwhelmed server. I would've stayed longer, maybe ordered another beer, but the lack of customer service made that a hard no. Coincidentally, the brew club from Albany was touring the area by bus that day. With services like this, there's no way I'd recommend Claim 52 -- not until they tighten up their operations. read more

The food here is awful. They claim to use locally sourced farm fresh food. However it sure seems and tastes like overpriced CISCO food quality. They used to have the best chicken sandwich in town, now it's a chicken finger on a cheap bun and they call it a sandwich. Is like $17 btw. And served with a pile of salty tots. I fail to see any of these ingredients that could possibly be fresh and local, with the exception of the baby spinach that was served as a 2oz potion they call a "salad". Love the atmosphere, not a bad location, drinks are fine. But wow, the food is BAD. Sorry it had to come to this type of a review. I hope they can improve because Claim 52 used to have some of the best food in town. read more

What an amazing range of beer! We got a taster tray of six, and had to taste 3 more in addition!! They had seventeen beers on tap - from a Kolsch to some complex, delicious "dessert sours". My favorite was the "Stuffed: Coffin Cake" - "Sour - Smoothie 6.5% ABV Dessert Sour brewed with milk sugar and white cake conditioned on chocolate, marshmallow, cinnamon, sweet cherry puree and blueberry puree." WOW! I had the house burger with the Tillamook cheddar upgrade - delicious! The patties were perfectly juicy and the bun and "garden" were super fresh. I had a side salad with the apple cider vinaigrette. I had the Orca Rock IPA with my burger - great pairing! Will definitely return when we are next in Eugene. read more

The new space is stellar! There is so much room, outside, inside, in the back room with the play space (for kids and adults), upstairs... So many options. Lots of parking on a Saturday evening before it got busy but I am sure they have to share with Venue 252 and others around the area. Ordered drinks at the bar (I tried a seasonal mocktail that was delish but expensive for ... fancy juice) and then decided on food. They weren't too busy to take orders for food at the counter with a live person, but when they do get busy you can order off of one of the two tablets. Husband got the birria tacos (its an app but might as well be an entree, he said they were good) and I tried the hot honey chicken. It was good, not great. The breading is super light, and while I actually liked that part, it was not what I expected. And the hot honey was too liquid, it didn't really stay on the sandwich (you can see it pooling around in my picture). Also not too spicy. But it was cooked well and was a good portion size. The tots were way too salty and I love salty, so that's saying something. Anyway, I'll definitely be back to try other offerings (and maybe the reservation-only super special dinner place they have). They could use a few more games to play in the back area, maybe they're still filling it in. But I really enjoyed the space and the options. Looks like a fun place with variety of activities: music, games, "foos ball",... IPA beers were good as was their Pilsner. The food we had was not very good. The tacos were oily and modest. The fish & chips were small and tasteless. Go for the beer and entertainment, pass on the food. read more

A long time back we came here for a tasting and it was a fun experience. So when we came back we expected the same. The difference was we came to have food as well as a beverage and that's where it went completely wrong. I'm not saying I'm never going back, but it will never be for food. Complete waste of money. Seriously. I have a very high threshold for French fries. The bar is low. Because it's a potato. All three of us got them and every single one was freakishly dry. Not burned. Like chewing wood. Dessicated. I got the chicken strips. Possibly the second easiest thing to drop in a fryer. Somehow also dry. So dry. Freakishly Dessicated. I don't know if they were under a light too long or in the freezer too long but it takes no skill to cook these things and we had concerns. Steak bites? Also no. Not dry, but not good. We choked it all down and thank gawd the taps have something good coming out of them. Can't recommend the food. Ever. Parking is great, atmosphere is fine, bathrooms are clean and events are nice. We brought an out of town guest to restaurant. Time 7;39pm. We parked right In front in second row. First row was filled. The food was typical bar food- not great but okay. An hour later we left. To our surprise there was a parking ticket from Diamond Parking on our windshield. I went back inside restaurant to find out if was a prank. Manager assured me it was not. Management said they have a sign in their window telling customers not to park anywhere but first row or you will be ticketed. It was dark and we didn't see the small sign indicating this. I asked why they didn't inform customers who enter restaurant and get in line to order food. Management said they were too busy to do that! The ticket was hefty (51.59). I want to warn others about this. read more

Beautiful deck area and such a large indoor space! I'd have liked outdoor umbrellas for a little shade. Dogs ok on deck. Lunch menu is limited and we both had a smash burger. Very good burger. I have no idea if it's an expanded dinner menu. Beers on tape are primarily Claim 52. I'm familiar with the IPA and hazy on tap so I enjoyed a sour I'm not familiar with. It was good. read more

Solid Beer, Great Space -- But Service and Cleanliness Need Attention Excited to check out Claim 52's new location! This review is offered with some grace--new spots always need time to work out the kinks. That said, there are a few things the team might want to tighten up. Food: The chicken strips were unfortunately rubbery and the fries came out cold. On a brighter note, the steak frites were solid and well-prepared. Beer: As always, the beer is fantastic--Claim 52 delivers on that front consistently. Service & Cleanliness: Here's where things could use some serious improvement. When we arrived, the place wasn't too busy, yet it was hard to find a clean table. No staff seemed to be making rounds to wipe them down. Multiple employees were visible eating in customer areas. Everyone deserves a break, but it's better to take proper meal breaks out of sight. This isn't just about optics--it's also a labor law issue (BOLI is no joke). One staff member--long hair, beard--was on his phone off to the side most of the time and visibly slinging a table-wiping rag over his shoulder. That's a major sanitary concern. The health department wouldn't look kindly on that kind of habit. This place has so much potential. The building is great, the beer is excellent, and it could easily become a staple spot. But staff training around cleanliness, professionalism, and basic service needs to be a priority. Things like using clean rags properly, pushing chairs in, staying off phones, and maintaining a clean space go a long way in making guests feel welcome. Really rooting for this spot--it could be something special with a few adjustments. Looking forward to seeing how it grows. read more

Amazing food and drinks! Their beer offerings are unique and all equally awesome. We loved the milkshake beers and bought a bunch to-go. Our server was friendly and helpful. We got the banh mi sandwich and burger special that had goat cheese and bacon. They were both really good and we were impressed that the burger wasn't greasy at all. Highly recommend coming here if you like breweries! read more

Yet another rewarding brewery experience in Eugene! Steve and I had several different beers from Claim 52. Most of them we liked considerably and would be eager to explore other beer choices with this brewery. Snap Finish was the first beer that we tried and was a great kick off to the several that we had. This was a lovely wheat beer that had nice dry and tart flavor features to it. Something you don't see very often in a wheat beer but very enjoyable to drink for sure! The next beer up was the Handlebar Helles! Oh how we do enjoy Helles Lagers and this particular one did not disappoint us to say in the very least. Another hit and so very refreshing! with it's bready and malty flavor highlights and a clean finish this all added up to one wonderful and refreshing Helles Lager. The last one we didn't care for quite as much but the experience of that beer wasn't worth deducting any stars for in my review. We got the Thicc: White Widow. This was a gose which we usually like often times because they are light but as the name implies, the Thicc part it is definitely more of a thicker beer. Perhaps more of a smoothy type of beer. The flavor of pineapple and lime and other tropical notes did not entirely taste bad but we didn't particularly like the body of the beer and it didn't sit well with us afterwards as our stomachs weren't in a pleased state after consuming that particular beer but that might have just been us ( No, we weren't drinking heavily to get the nausea. Despite posting a lot of beer reviews on my Yelp account we hardly ever get drunk and often go with small portions and take the selections home). The Thicc beers is apparently a series for this brewery with numerous flavors and versions but we definitely preferred the light bodied beers more! read more

Friendly staff on a drizzly evening. Good vibe from the spartan interior. Beer is interesting. Several safe standard types and lots of weird brews. It seems many of them are really sweet, almost like a fruit smoothie. I saved those on my flight as my dessert. One of my companions enjoyed his chicken sando, but the other companion said his nachos were nowhere near warm. I guess I'd go back randomly for a beer if I was in the area, but it's not worth a special trip. read more

Never heard of this beer before and it is SO GOOD. Then ordered spring salad with crispy chicken and apple cider vinaigrette, 10/10, so flavorful and beautiful! Excellent food and atmosphere. Both inside and outside seating with attentive staff. Beer was good with plenty of choices. Sweet potato fries were amazing for and we did a shareable basket. I did the beef tacos. Decent choice although the chicken sandwich would have been a better choice as I saw others getting fit and it looked better than my meal. Thank you Claim 52 for having amazing food and tasty beer. We were visiting Eugene and we liked this brewery so much we went here twice during our stay. We ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, the Italian sandwich, side salad, and pretzels. All were delicious. Great interior seating as well. Both our visits were in the day and during the pandemic. Social distancing was maintained and the staff wore mask. We will visit again next time we are in Eugene. read more

This place is great, they have it all. Wonderful staff, excellent beers and a good location. The Claim 52 brewpub is inside of their brewing facility. You can enjoy your brew in a fantastic commercial warehouse zone. It reminds me a lot of the good ole day's at Oakshire when they served out of their brew facility on Madera. The seating area is ever changing and relaxing. They have several different chairs to choose from. You wanna sit on a stool, in a chair, on a picnic table or a comfy leather airport style chairs? They have them all, plus a stand up bar! There's usually local art on the walls and occasionally a local band playing nice volume appropriate music. You can catch Timbers games here also. Pinball machines are here too for your enjoyment. Wanna play corn hole? You can here they have two sets of boards to play on. Also during zwickel mania they host a popular corn hole tournament. Got kids? Bring the too they have a chalk board wall for them to draw on and a bunch of toys to keep them busy and as happy as you'll be. Oh my the beer us crisp cool and refreshing. They have an assortment of different styles and usually have their flagship kolsch on tap. I don't have a particular favorite. They're all pretty good. Don't worry the servers will give you samples until you find a match. They don't offer in house produced foods. Local food truck are here when its open selling nice items that compliment the brews. Come enjoy yourself and have a brew or 2. Bring your 4 legged friend's too, as dogs with well manors are welcome. Ill continue to support this local gem and watch them grow. read more

We love going here. great beers perfectly balanced and not heavy. The food selection is pricey but good quality last time we went. They open up the windows to the street and you can enjoy the sights and relax. Some of the staff were nice but it seems like they have a bad apple or two but they were prompt in filling our drink orders and we went when it was slow so we had our food delivered right away. Amazing staff, always good food carts and the beer is well done! Plus it feels like you've stumbled upon your own secret brewery My only complaint is that they are only open until 9pm on the weekends. Just held a corporate event here for close to 100 people and it was a hit! Plenty of room even with our large "game show" that Team Casino set up for us! Mercy and the team are so great and to top it off, the beer is great! Love going somewhere that has some great options without an overwhelming selection! Amazing beer! I loved all five they have on draft. We were there on just their second weekend of dock sales and was super impressed with this first batch. They offer free samples, growler fills and keg purchases on Saturdays from noon to 2. Small time frame but so worth it. Definitely check out this new Eugene brewery! read more

Claim 52 is wonderful. I'm a huge fan of their Kolsch in particular for a refreshing summer beer. The staff is also wonderful and bent over backwards when I set up a bike tour of local breweries for my boyfriend's birthday. They opened up especially for our huge group of cyclists and were incredibly accommodating and delicious! Many growlers were filled. Hope to see this community brewery grow! read more

Visiting family and stopped here for lunch. First time for all of us. Loved the clean, fresh space. Indoor and outdoor seating available. 2 in our party got the Katsu sandwich. 1 had the fried chicken drumsticks and I had the Pimento burger with fries. We all enjoyed our meals.....a lot. Great beer selections. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was that they didn't have one of our groups first choice. Service was friendly and good. Beer was decent, and we ordered a half growler to go of their Amber, granted the tender gave us their farmhouse sour and overcharged us. Doubt I'll go back.
