Great location. Pay parking lot just next to the building.

What an amazing range of beer! We got a taster tray of six, and had to taste 3 more in addition!! They had seventeen beers on tap - from a Kolsch to some complex, delicious "dessert sours". My favorite was the "Stuffed: Coffin Cake" - "Sour - Smoothie 6.5% ABV Dessert Sour brewed with milk sugar and white cake conditioned on chocolate, marshmallow, cinnamon, sweet cherry puree and blueberry puree." WOW! I had the house burger with the Tillamook cheddar upgrade - delicious! The patties were perfectly juicy and the bun and "garden" were super fresh. I had a side salad with the apple cider vinaigrette. I had the Orca Rock IPA with my burger - great pairing! Will definitely return when we are next in Eugene.

The new space is stellar! There is so much room, outside, inside, in the back room with the play space (for kids and adults), upstairs... So many options. Lots of parking on a Saturday evening before it got busy but I am sure they have to share with Venue 252 and others around the area. Ordered drinks at the bar (I tried a seasonal mocktail that was delish but expensive for ... fancy juice) and then decided on food. They weren't too busy to take orders for food at the counter with a live person, but when they do get busy you can order off of one of the two tablets. Husband got the birria tacos (its an app but might as well be an entree, he said they were good) and I tried the hot honey chicken. It was good, not great. The breading is super light, and while I actually liked that part, it was not what I expected. And the hot honey was too liquid, it didn't really stay on the sandwich (you can see it pooling around in my picture). Also not too spicy. But it was cooked well and was a good portion size. The tots were way too salty and I love salty, so that's saying something. Anyway, I'll definitely be back to try other offerings (and maybe the reservation-only super special dinner place they have). They could use a few more games to play in the back area, maybe they're still filling it in. But I really enjoyed the space and the options. The original location was cool too but way too small.

Beautiful deck area and such a large indoor space! I'd have liked outdoor umbrellas for a little shade. Dogs ok on deck. Lunch menu is limited and we both had a smash burger. Very good burger. I have no idea if it's an expanded dinner menu. Beers on tape are primarily Claim 52. I'm familiar with the IPA and hazy on tap so I enjoyed a sour I'm not familiar with. It was good.

Amazing food and drinks! Their beer offerings are unique and all equally awesome. We loved the milkshake beers and bought a bunch to-go. Our server was friendly and helpful. We got the banh mi sandwich and burger special that had goat cheese and bacon. They were both really good and we were impressed that the burger wasn't greasy at all. Highly recommend coming here if you like breweries!

Don't start a tab. I ordered 1 beer and I thought, sure start a tab, I might stay for 2 beers. They put a $50 hold on my credit card. Pay as you go. The employees will not provide this information to you.

The Thicc White Widow!

Yet another rewarding brewery experience in Eugene! Steve and I had several different beers from Claim 52. Most of them we liked considerably and would be eager to explore other beer choices with this brewery. Snap Finish was the first beer that we tried and was a great kick off to the several that we had. This was a lovely wheat beer that had nice dry and tart flavor features to it. Something you don't see very often in a wheat beer but very enjoyable to drink for sure! The next beer up was the Handlebar Helles! Oh how we do enjoy Helles Lagers and this particular one did not disappoint us to say in the very least. Another hit and so very refreshing! with it's bready and malty flavor highlights and a clean finish this all added up to one wonderful and refreshing Helles Lager. The last one we didn't care for quite as much but the experience of that beer wasn't worth deducting any stars for in my review. We got the Thicc: White Widow. This was a gose which we usually like often times because they are light but as the name implies, the Thicc part it is definitely more of a thicker beer. Perhaps more of a smoothy type of beer. The flavor of pineapple and lime and other tropical notes did not entirely taste bad but we didn't particularly like the body of the beer and it didn't sit well with us afterwards as our stomachs weren't in a pleased state after consuming that particular beer but that might have just been us ( No, we weren't drinking heavily to get the nausea. Despite posting a lot of beer reviews on my Yelp account we hardly ever get drunk and often go with small portions and take the selections home). The Thicc beers is apparently a series for this brewery with numerous flavors and versions but we definitely preferred the light bodied beers more!

Excellent service, and quick! I'm from out of town and this place looked great on yelp. I ordered a blueberry toast crunch dessert sour - like how cool is that?! Never heard of this beer before and it is SO GOOD. Then ordered spring salad with crispy chicken and apple cider vinaigrette, 10/10, so flavorful and beautiful! Sat outside so I could watch my TikTok videos in peace, and people watch. I highly recommend this spot!

Awesome beer selection. Such strange options and I loved everything I had there. Food wasn't bad either. I liked the pretzel and the berry mustard was fantastic. The fish tacos were good but a bit dry.

Beer is nothing special, but it is better than the greasy, over cooked deep fried items on the limited menu.

We went to their new public house for dinner on a Wednesday and the place was hopping. Their new…read morebuilding is very cool (and not quite done yet!). The new public house is pretty much behind their original spot, overlooking Coburg Road. We sat in a booth with very tall walls that felt very private but I don't feel like I could tell you the vibe of the rest of the restaurant. Since I was sitting in the back of the booth, I could only see two other tables that were along the windows and the traffic going by in the dark. Next time we'll ask not to sit in a booth so we can see more of the restaurant. Our server informed us that the public house was split into two sections. We were in the full-service restaurant part and there was a more casual (order at the counter?) section by the front door for people that just wanted to grab a beer and sit at a communal table. Our server was excellent. Not the typical Eugene service from him! He answered our questions about the beers and brought us tastes and had all the answers ready about the food. They were out of two things (understandable at such a new spot) but I noticed that they had already changed their menu a few times in the few short weeks they've been opened. Yay for seasonal menus!! Our party went super basic and we all ordered the Butter Burger (the butter is mixed into the patty so it helps the burger caramelize) which came with fries. We also split the grilled potato salad(served chilled), which was a good sized portion to split with our group of five. My kiddo got the wings (sauceless) and fries. We'll be back to try more of the menu items and sit at a table without walls.

First let me say the service staff at Coldfire are warm cheerful and inviting. They are attentive…read moreto the needs of the customers and they were best part of the experience . The beer I tried Minute After Midnight was very good and thoroughly enjoyable. Now for the downside. The food. The Butter Burger resembles a regular McDonald's hamburger, the patty is grossly over seasoned and completely unenjoyable. As shown in the picture the bun was burned on the inside and the outside. It was very unpalatable. The Pretzel was large and warmed through nicely however the overall quality of the pretzel was that of a common bulk discount store. They placed four very small slivers of cheese on it that did very little to improve the flavor and appearance of the pretzel. That being said the mustard dipping sauce was very good. The French fries were spot on and very enjoyable particularly with the garlic aïoli that was served with the unimpressive hamburger. And finally let's get to the Delicata squash , unfortunately I will spend the rest of my life trying to remove the taste of that culinary disaster from my taste buds. The appearance of the dish is a complete disaster the aroma is as repulsive as wondering into a public bathroom shortly after someone spent far too long blowing up the toilet. I made the mistake of tasting it, that left a mark. The texture was the best thing about the dish with as poor as the texture was. The flavor was so putrid that I had to spit it into a napkin. It was a totally unpleasant experience. The ambience was warm and inviting. It would've helped if they had a section where kids could be, so the noise does not bother the customers that went to an adult location like a taproom to enjoy an adult beverage. I do believe this establishment does potential. The servers are amazing and the beer I tried was excellent. They do however need to fire whoever has created the menu and the recipes. The food is truly a crime against humanity. I truly hope they can get the quality of the food under control. I would be willing to give them another try if in fact the menu and food is corrected.

From the moment we walked in, we loved the classic brewery vibe--laid-back, welcoming, and super clean. The food, drinks, and service were all genuinely fantastic. I was honestly shocked that it was so empty on a Sunday afternoon because this spot deserves to be packed. It's the perfect place to enjoy a drink, hang out, and grab some really delicious food. The nachos were SO GOOD--we nearly polished off the entire plate without even trying. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the potato soup were both incredibly comforting, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving. One of the sweetest touches was when we asked the owner if she had any cards, and she actually loaned us a deck of UNO to play while we hung out. Such a small gesture, but it made the experience feel so personal and homey. Overall, I had such a wonderful time here and would absolutely come back next time I'm in town. The brewery itself is also great as they have lots of inside seating options and a pretty big outdoor patio. The beer was great too, we found out about Hop Valley because we were in town for the Eugene Marathon and they're one of the sponsors. The only downfall was the food service, we ordered a simple salads and chicken strips with fries and it took about an hour to get our food. We came Sunday afternoon after the marathon and it wasn't too busy here. Outside had about 3 tables either partied of 5 plus people. You would t think starter/appetizer could take that long.
