Cute spot for family time, lots of seating everywhere and pretty spacious. Not too bad to sit outside in during the summer! Food trucks for everyone really, I saw latin food, desserts, burgers, pizza, barbecue and hawaiian food. We tried a bit of everything and it was all pretty solid. Drinks were good as well. Service was very friendly. Favorites were the hawaiian food and the burgers, fries could've for sure been crispier. We ended with milkshakes and they were pretty good too.

What a great concept! Food truck style place with a bar that looks like a church. The place was busy for a Monday night, but it's karaoke night. There are lots of seating areas and we found seats, no problem. I like that there is both a "brewery" section and then a full bar. That way everyone can enjoy! Super easy to order everywhere. Fun place for everyone.

Fun food concept in a beautiful renovated church. You can have foods from several vender while sitting in a cozy space. I had tacos and my guy had a burrito from Tonalli Latin Kitchen. Be sure to order the red and/or green sauce for full flavor! Both dishes were delicious with nice spice! There is also a great selection of local beers. One slight caveat is that only a few vendors were open at lunchtime on a Tuesday.

I was on a weekend gal pal trip from out of state and stopped by Springfield during our wine tasting tour, but we wanted to get lunch first and happened to spot Public House. We instantly could tell it would be a winning spot for us. The building is a renovated church that retained its beautiful stained glass windows. Inside was a food court with a decent variety of cuisine options, and I instantly honed in on a smash burgers joint called Tiny's West Coast Kitchen (which I later learned only opened about 3 weeks prior). There was also a large beer hall that offered a range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic pours from across the PNW region. I ended up with a Springfield-brewed cider that had notes of pineapple Dole whip, mango, and vanilla - a perfect complement to my juicy smash burger and fries. It was a delicious lunch that filled my stomach and the rest of my senses too. I recommend y'all stop by when in Springfield, it's not just the murals and the wine!

This space has the food truck/fair food vibe that we love! The brew portion had flights available and a wonderful selection of local beers. We forgot to take pictures of the burgers we tried, but they were fresh and tasty! Highly recommend.

Love Public House, but it kinda grinded my gears, when I got a fresh, generous sized, salad at Tiny's, West Coast Chicken, with delicious house made ranch, but the dressing that came with it, was in a small paper cup-like one you put ketchup in-that was around 2Tbs. Was grudgingly given another one but still wasn't near enough to dress my salad. When I asked for more, to go, I was told I would be charged. Understandable, if I was ordering something not assumed to be included, but confused, why I would have to pay xtra for something that is required to complete a meal I already bought. Bummed, the majority of my salad is sitting in the fridge, going bad because I only had enough dressing for around 4 bites. Please make it make sense.

The whole place is super cute, an old church turned into a food hall with many restaurants. I always eat from the poke place and their poke bowls are huge and the only one in Eugene that I feel does justice to a poke bowl.

Kind of a unique place in an old church. Went in to beer hall for our first round of drinks. It was very warm in there and they were playing bingo. We went over to the whiskey lab that was nicely air conditioned. I ended up ordering an old fashioned that was good. For food we ordered spring rolls that were ok. Later ordered a salmon burger, fried tofu with Japanese noodles, and fish taco. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We also ordered chips and salsa. The salsa was almost too hot to eat. You don't have one server but whomever is available. All were good.

One of the coolest places in America to drink craft beer (according to Men's Journal) is right in downtown Springfield! In fact the Public House, a former church, is number eight on the list! This unique gathering place is made up of various independent food vendors (or "pods") within the overall structure. You can choose from several different cuisines and then enjoy your meal either in the former church sanctuary (highly recommended for the soaring exposed beam architecture and beautiful stained glass windows) as well as a outdoor (enclosed) courtyard. Current food vendors as of this review: - MOI POKI GRILL - NORTHWEST BURGERS - PIZZA CUE - TONALLI LATIN KITCHEN - SHALOSH (OPEN FRIDAYS- SUNDAYS ON THE LAWN) Be sure to also check-out the Public House website for various events like Cinema Nights, Yoga in the BeerHall and open mic nights just to name a few. I love "Third Places" and the Public House does it well! What's a third place you ask? It's a term coined by Urban sociologist, Ray Oldenburg, in his seminal text "The Great Good Place." They are the places between where we live and where we work. They are community gathering places for organic in-person connections. Hope you make a point of spending some time at the Public House...you'll be glad you did!

If you haven't been to Public House... you're missing out. This is a GEM in the heart of downtown Springfield. Truly, A GEM! Located in a former church house, it has been transformed into a magical food truck court via church house! SO COOL! Immaculately clean, I'd eat off the floor. Truly, they keep the place spotless, bathrooms included. There are so many food options from a Chili stand in the back, to burgers, to Mexican food, to sushi options, to fish & chips, full bar, wine bar, beer bar... I can keep going and going. it was amazing! Sit in the heart of the sanctuary while you enjoy your dinner and drink or slide away to the side vestibule and enjoy in a more quiet private area. There are so many options, outdoor seating as well! I see a few naysayers of the price. Food isn't cheap... go to the grocery store and actually pay attention... the price point for Public House is ON POINT. Shout out to all the staff who made our experiences wonderful. We tried many places / restaurants while in the Eugene / Springfield area... NONE of them held a light to our experience at Public House. Try it out, you're missing out!

    Malty & perfect!

Good selection of food options, nice separation of seating. None of the food vendors are outstanding or I'd rate it higher.

At first I was a little bit wary that it was in a mall food court, but it's legit. The service was great and they were able to accommodate some special orders. The dining is your typical Mall food court although there is plenty of seating so you should be able to find a spot and enjoy your food. Everything was tasty and it was really plentiful. I was impressed at all the different options and would easily come here again. They also have samples so you can try something before you potentially buy it. Side note, I was impressed at how jumping this mall was. These days a lot of malls are dead, so it was nice to see a mall that was packed like the early '90s!

I have been here several times... and am surprised I have not done a review. So here goes…read more.. The bbq pork baozi are delicious, and fresh. Past visits verify this. This visit, I ordered the fried chicken and rice plate, and an order of sesame balls. Fried chicken is yummy, tender and juicy. Rice is good, nice and sticky... easy to eat with chopsticks. The order includes a nice portion of pickled Daikon radish, and some made in house Kimchi... both of which are delicious. Very nice service over all... definitely a full meal. Sesame balls... smaller than I am used to, but very tasty. The red bean paste inside is yummy, although I think it needs a bit more paste than they have. Seems skimpy! But worth the price. Service is always awesome... the staff here are wonderful, if you need something, all you have to do is ask.
